Now that we're no longer limited to only having 2 potions on our character as soon as we log in, I'm wanting to know where you can get potions to add to your supply...

That's what this thread is for. If you know of a place to get some Health or Mana Potions, post them here. I'll keep a list in this first post, so that we all know where to look.

Also, don't post the fact that you can get up to 4 Health Potions from the various Events, as that (should) be common knowledge. smile

Known Locations To Get Health Potions
  • Hunt The Seed Spitter: +1 Potion - If you click on Twilly in the main town of BattleOn, and choose the option Heard Any Rumors, Artix and Robina will appear and tell you about the Seed Spitter. If you choose the quest, about halfway through, you'll be given two Health Potions, but you'll "use" one on the NPC at the end of the quest, leaving you with +1 Health Potion.
  • Hunt The Seed Spitter: +? Potions - During the Hunt The Seed Spitter quest, or during ANY battle with a Seed Spitter, if you use the Salad Shooter spell, there is a chance that you will get a potion from the Seed Spitter.
  • Random Battles: +3 Potions - At random times during battles, you may encounter a Potion Treasure Chest. If you open it, there's a chance it will explode on you, or give you 3 Health Potions.
  • Frogzard Hunter Quest Part 3: Up to 10 Potions - Talk to Twilly, and choose The Frogzard Hunter! option, and then choose Quest: Part 3. After the first two battles, Gaborah will give you enough Potions to bring you up to 10 Potions. If you have 10 or more potions, you will not get any more. - Info provided by Deer Crossing
  • Yonder: +1 Potion - Go to the Travel Map, click on Crossroads, and when it loads, click on Yonder at the top of the signpost on the left. It will present you with a list of areas to battle. After the battle is over, you will gain 1 Health Potion and 1 Mana Potion. Note that if you encounter the Hybee, and choose to do the Hybee quest, you won't get any potions, but if you complete the quest, you will have the option to purchase the Hybee Spear. Also note that the game does not tell you that you gained any potions, but if you check your character stats, you will see that they went up by 1 each. - Info provided by SilencedStar
  • Triple Challenge: +1 Potion - Go into Warlic's Mage Shop, and click on Explore Shop. Drag Mermazon Kelp, Magma Leaf, and Slattwob Dust into the large pot on the bottom shelf. This will either take you to Triple Challenge or Talk Like A Pirate Day. If you are a GUardian, you can go to the Teleport Room in the Guardian tower to teleport directly to the Triple Challenge. Triple Challenge is a "Keep Fighting Until You Die" type event. It tracks your wins, and also tells you that you get 2 Free Potions after each Battle. You'll get 1 Health Potion and 1 Mana Potion - Info provided by ThePersonInFrontOfYou. Guardian Tower Teleporter info provided by Deer Crossing.
  • Vamprook Spire: +2 Potions (Guardian Only!) - If you're a Guardian, go to the Travel Map, and click on Vamprook Spire. This will load the Leeroy Jenkins quest (which is a funny quest). After the first battle, you'll have the option to continue, or loot your partys potions. Doing this will get you 2 Health Potions and 2 Mana Potions. - Info provided by Deer Crossing

Places That Have Been Removed
- These are places that were only temporary to begin with, and they are no longer available in the game. However, there's always the possibility that you'll be able to go back to them someday, just like you can return to the Carnax War from Isle d'Oriens. Therefore, those places that have been removed will be added to this list. If there's a new way to get to them, it will be added. to the information.
  • Fight For The Future: Up to 4 Mana Potions - While the Fight For The Future event was happening, there was a bag that would give you up to 4 Mana Potions, provided you had less than 4 Mana Potions total. Click the Explore The Hatch button, then click the Right Arrow. The bag is on the floor near Jess. This event is over, and has been removed from the game.

One of the Zard Hunting quests gives you a bunch when you start it, and you can cancel out of the first battle so you get even more.

I forget which part though.......

Vamprook Spyre gives you the option to get some. I think it was two of each.

Travel Map ---> Crossroads ---> Yonder

Go to any place there and fight.
You get one Health and Mana potion after each win.

I have 35 of each because of it. mrgreen

I guess the Triple Challenge is a good source for potions. Most of the battles are not too hard, and you get one Health potion and one Mana potion after each win.

Where's the Triple Challenge at?
PostPosted: Mon Jul 24, 2006 5:28 pm

You get to it by mixing Mermazon Kelp, Magma Leaf, and Slattwob Dust in Warlic's shop.

You will either get transported to the Triple Challenge, or to Talk Like a Pirate Day.
