Somehow, I feel like I'm probably the only Malice Mizer fan in this guild, but okay.
Malice Mizer was started by Mana, the famous EGL, unemotional, crossdresser we all know and hate love stare

And first member was Kozi.
I myself am slightly confused as to how the came up with the name ._. the two said it was the base of life (or something)
"What is human?"
"Malicious Misery."
AKA Malice Mizer.
Right. Moving on.
We have the twin guitars, Mana and Kozi, bassist Yu~ki, drummer Gaz, and the first era of Malice Mizer... VOCALIST TETSU.
Very talented man, if I do say so myself.
First era. Malice Mizer, fairly new. Tetsu with his unique and entertaining vocals, rad songwriting/music writing abilities. And the band to back him up.
Gaz leaves, Kami joins.
YAY KAMI.
It was actually a transfer sort of thing. Kami left KneuKlid Romance and went to Malice Mizer, and Gaz left Malice Mizer and went to KneuKlid Romance. Rad, eh?
Tragedy tragedy. Tetsu leaves, Mana claims all his music under 'Malice Mizer.' Theif.
Second era. Fresh out of Cains:Feel is the object of Maggy's obsession. Frontman, Gackt.
Ah, he's lovely.
Two glorious albums sprout from young Gackt. With his deep voice having the ability to go up to glass-shattering ranges. Gackt, also a great songwriter.
Yes, he DID write kinky hit single Illuminati. Whips, vinyl, S&M, and all.
All of a sudden Gackt leaves. (Cue insane sobbing on my part) He takes a majority of the fans with him. Nice move there, Gackt. stare Soon after Gackt leaves. Kami passes away quite suddenly by a subarachnoid hemorrage. (Cue more insane sobbing on my part).
A memorial box (Shinwa) was released for Kami, and he was titled 'Eternal Blood Relative' on all future Malice Mizer releases. Never to be replaced.
For a while the trio (with a replacement drummer) continued on making singles...
And POW. Final era. Klaha. Sprouting a much darker style. Also very talented... just couldn't get Malice Mizer back into the scene though.
2001 Malice Mizer disbands.
WHERE ARE THEY NOW?
Tetsu - Tetsu joined Zigzo, a band with drummer Sakura from L'Arc~en~Ciel. I reccommend you listen to them, since Tetsu's just that great. heart Zigzo disbanded the same year as Malice Mizer (2001) and Tetsu is now in NIL (listen to them too!) Go Tetsu ^o^
Gackt - A J-Rock God. Solo-artist with a back up band. Gackt & GacktJOB are still extremely famous. He abandoned the Malice Mizer get-up, and now looks like your average beautiful Japanese musician.
He's everywhere. Video games. Commercials. Dramas. Whatever.
Not-so-random-facts: Gackt and Kami used to be best friends in Malice Mizer (T.T <3). Gackt is a fantasticdbcbkqwlhv pianist. Gackt has apparently written two songs about Kami, Emu ~For My Dear~, and U+K. (U+K is about meeting a friend in heaven. And what do you know, Kami's real name's initials are U.K.) Gackt wrote an autobiography, called JIHAKU. Don't read it.
Klaha - Klaha also became a solo artist. I don't know much about his solo career, but what I do know is that Klaha is currently not well, and therefore his career is on hold. Rumor is that it's from depression (PLEASE GET BETTER KLAHA, PLEASE ;.; )
Mana - Mana has a new band called Moi Dix Mois. He also has a clothing line called Moi-même-Moitié. It's Elegant Gothic Lolita heart & Elegant Gothic Aristocrat type clothing. It has a little tagline that makes me laugh insanely, so I'll write it here. -ahem- "Elegant Gothic Lolita Aristrocatic Vampire Romance" xDD Okay, sorry. Anywho... oh yeah. Mana. Mana also has his record label Midi:Nette. That Malice Mizer, Moi Dix Mois, and another (FANTASTIC) band called Schwarz Stein are signed too. Mana continues to be the same aloof, unemotional, crossdressing, evil man he used to be. Except he kinda got more manly... I guess.
Kozi - Ah, Kozi heart An amazingly talented singer and guitarist, he also went solo~ His stuff is FANTASTIC. GOOD JOB KOZI heart . Um... yeah. More when I find out what else to say. KNOW THIS. KOZI = AMAZING. YOU SHOULD DEFINITELY LISTEN TO HIS WORK >O
Yu~ki - Yu~ki's a carpenter :3
Though he helped Kozi on a song called "MEMENTO" I believe he wrote the lyrics.
But now he's a carpenter :3 like... tables... and stuff xD;

Gaz - I. DON'T. KNOW.

Don't ask me for the discography, I'm not posting the whole thing xD
