Okay, I have a few questions I'd like to ask, that I'm not so sure of the answers.
The questions have to do with the following Final Fantasies:
VII, VIII, IX, X.
VII
________
1. Is it Aeris or Aerith for the english dubbing?
2. Is Strife Cloud's actual surname, or it is Zack's?
3. Would you consider Vincent 27 still, or his actual age?
VIII
________
1. Is the summon carbuncle in other FF's too?
2. Is Laguna Squall's father, or not? D: [I've heard both sides
of opinon, and I'm confused. Dx]
IX
________
1. How do you pronounce Zidane? Zee-dayn, Zeye-dayn or other?
My friend's call him either. >o<

2. Gah. Is it Quactuar or Cactuar?
[In the Thunder Plains, they call 'em Quactuars----was it a
dubbing error?]

FF7 said Aeris, KH said Aerith, AC never bothered to say her name.... stressed 2. Well since he didn't go around calling himself Zack, I'd assume that Strife is Cloud's last name. (Acctually I think Zack has an offical last name I just don't remember it...) 3. FF7 said he's 27, AC said he's 27, DoC said he's 27, I'm guessing that he's going to stay 27 for a long time.... FF8 1. Yes 2. While it never flat out tells you the answer is yes FF9 1. I have no idea... FF10 1. Quactuars are in the thunder plains, Cactaurs are in the biknal desert 2. KH1 Wakka says Tee-dus, KH2 Selphie says Tie-dus

3. Would you consider Vincent 27 still, or his actual age? I just go with 27.

1.*sigh* Is it Tee-dus or Tie-dus? Well in KH1 Wakka calls him Tee-dus, but in KH2, Selphie calls him Tie-dus. So I guess it's both.
2. Gah. Is it Quactuar or Cactuar? There is no such thing as a Quactuar. If you look closely there isn't a 'u' after the 'q'. The Qactuar is in the Thunder Plains and the Cactuar is in the Bikanel Desert. Either way it's pronounced Cac-too-are.

1. Is it Aeris or Aerith for the english dubbing? Technically it's Aeris because that was her first English name. However she's been Aerith since then, so Aerith is the intended name I believe. Mistranslation, nothing more.
2. Is Strife Cloud's actual surname, or it is Zack's? That's actually a good question, but I'm sure it's Cloud's. Maybe he says it in one of the flashbacks?...Idk though...
3. Would you consider Vincent 27 still, or his actual age? He is technically 57ish...although think of being in the coffin as being frozen...making him remain 27.

of opinon, and I'm confused. Dx]I'm actually not sure...I think he's intended to be...sorta like Julia and Laguna never worked out, but their love carries into their children?...idk...speculation of course, but I believe he is. They definately share a connection.

I'm going to believe Squall is not related to Laguna,
I think them being in father-son relation kinda creepy gonk
It wasn't until I came here that I even heard of such creepyness and I'm going to continue to believe that Squall has no parents (alive anyway)

Red Crosell XIII I'm going to believe Squall is not related to Laguna, I think them being in father-son relation kinda creepy gonk It wasn't until I came here that I even heard of such creepyness and I'm going to continue to believe that Squall has no parents (alive anyway) Squall's parent's are Laguna and Raine (Ellone, Kiros, Ward(kinda) and Laguna all hint at this) Rinoa's parents are Julia and Caraway

yeah laguna is definatly Squalls father, the biggest hint is when kiros says that squall looks like his mother and later lagunaa says he has something to tell squall but hell understand if he doesnt want to listen
cant remmember exact quotes but its pretty compelling evidence

VII ________ 1. its AERIS ppl. no matter what others say. 3nodding scream 2. its clouds. zack's name was never mentioned... 3. i consider him 27, but he's really 57, and rising. but he'll look like 27 for a LOOONGG time, so yea. he's 27 X _______ 1. TIE-DUS!!! (i'm biased like that, and i've called him tie-dis long before KH. also, there was a preview on a DVD my dad was watching. they said tee-dus, and me and him were like "WTF?!?!? IT'S TIE-DUS, DAMMIT!!!!!" *ahem* also, in KH2 selphie calls him tie-dus, so you can't say "oh, its tee-dus, cuz that's how it is in KH!" thats B.S.) 2. pretty sure its cactuar. thats how it's been since 7, so yeah. besides, the other name sounds like a duck. sweatdrop

.T.a.c.o. 2. Gah. Is it Quactuar or Cactuar? Actually in the Thunder Plains, it was Qactuar, and without the 'u' it would be pronounced the same as Cactuar, it was just to differentiate differing types
