- You find a parchment of paper. All it reads is an address and information to what appears to be a bank account. How do you, as the Owner, react? Find your way to the Past Legacies Corp. building.

Interpert this in anyway you please.

"Fern?" Roses voice carried through the wide house, Liusaidh clinging to her mothers hair. The redhead winced, eyes scanning over the corridor, one hand holding up the bum of their daughter and the other hand holding an old-looking piece of paper. "Fern, where ARE you?!"

"Yeah?" The other womans pale head popped out from the living room, a dustrag held threateningly before her. A stray dustsbunny fluttered from the rag, only to be captured by Ferns scaly tail. She cackled to herself, without letting Rose know she was entertaining herself while the shorter female spoke.

Green eyes rolled and when Liusaidh whined in her throat, Rose just bounced her carefully. "I think I found something that belongs to you. Or whatever." Her hand thrust foreward, pushing the paper towards her mate. Silver eyebrows rose on Ferns forehead and she took the crumpled up piece of parchment.

Those eyebrows only rose further, nose wrinkling up tightly. "...this isn't mine. I don't have an account at.....wherever the fu--"

"FERN!"

"Heck this place is." The correction of her words was smooth, casting her lover a rather smug look. While Rose glowered, Fern just shrugged, head tilting to the side. "...Isn't that some old building...or something?"

"I don't know." The former princess shrugged irritably, casting her mate another grumpy look, shoulders rising into another shrug. "It could be the Taj-Mahal building for all we know! Just go and check it out - you might have something there or they might hav information or--"

"Can it." Fern groaned, leaning down and grabbing her shoes.

--

...and so there she was. The building was giant. Huge and solid and surrounded by bustling people. The winged woman didn't like it and thus ducked herself inside, tucking her wings tight against her body so it merely seemed like she was wearing too much clothing on her back. ..or had some sort of odd deformity. You know.

Whichever.

Pushing her way into the building, Fern was soon surrounded by metal. A trap! Before she could try to claw her way out, however, they opened into a larger soon, full of...walls that weren't metal.

The draconian woman relaxed, ears sliding a bit to a twenty degree angle in her relief. "...I..uh. Have a paper."

It sounded lame even to her.

Prosper looked up from paper work that was laid out behind the counter. Smiling at the woman's words he walked out form behind the counter. He held out his right hand as he stopped in front of her, not paying any attention to the strange draconic features.

"Welcome! I am Prosper Reed, the Manager of Past Legacies Corporation." He paused for a second then continued before the woman had a chance to say a word, "You must be here about Account six-two-seven-zero-five-one-eight, correct?"

He waited patiently for her response, his clear blue eyes calm.

"Uhm."

Another hefty pause at that while her fingers fumbled with the paper, squinting down at it to make sure the numbers were correct before answering him. "Yeah." Red eyes darted up, eyebrows furrowing slightly.

"Past Legacies Corporation? What's this about an account, anyway?" The paper was waved, almost carelessly by the female, "I didn't open an account here."

"I know m'am, but someone did and you were left with it." He stood back and then waved to the emblazed counter with the company's name. "Past Legacies Corporation is a bank. We specialize in safety deposit boxes for family heirlooms. Your family being one of them."

Prosper walked towards the counter and signaled to a young woman, "If you would please give this young lady the tag then she shall be giving you the Key to your safety deposit box though I should warn you to remember everything on that little paper please."

The young gentleman stood with his arms crossed politely in front of him.

"Family Heirlooms? But we lived on another plane of exhistance." The draconian womans protest was almost heated, webbed ears twitching in her agitation. "It's nothing that' going to kill me, is it? I don't think my ancestors much liked us."

There HAD been that great-great uncle who had disappered from the worlds for a period of years... Ferns mind flicked away from that thought quickly, moving to offer the piece of paper from the woman, lips pursing slightly.

"What happens if I dont?"

"If you don't remember the information correctly then the security alarm system will go off and you shall be arrested and dealt with. Or do you mean if you don't hand over the tag? If you decide to not accept this Account that is fine. We will never contact you again."

Prosper's gaze settled on Fern as he waited for a response. He hoped that the woman meant the first because if it meant the second then there would be hell of alot of paper work to be done and things to rescheduled.

"M'am?"
PostPosted: Sun Jul 23, 2006 8:37 pm

"No, I just meant if my brain blimped out and I forgot what the information was." Her nose wrinkled up, blinking and letting the other woman take her tag and taking the key in return.

"Okay... so I don't want to get arrested so..." Another lip pursing and she shuffled her feet closer, wings tightening automtically against her back. "Let's get this show on the road, yeah?"

Veronica, the young blonde woman behind the counter, accepted the tag with a nod and began to typing quickly into the computer that was attached to the desk of the counter. Not long after there was a soft mechanical purring as an area beside the computer opened up and a small metal case was brought up with the word 'Bo' etched into the lid.

Picking up the box, she settled it on the counter top and removed the lid, displaying the Key to Fern.

"Here is your Account Key m'am."
PostPosted: Sun Jul 23, 2006 8:59 pm

A critical eyebrow arched when she saw the name n the Key. "Bo?" Red eyes darted to the man in question. Sure, it was a quick glance...but she was pretty sure that's what it said.

"Key. Right. It looks like a..." Fern scowled, taking the Key almost carelessly. "What is this made of? Colored ivory? Glass?"

The manager frowned at the Key and shrugged his shoulders, "Not quite sure myself. The creator of the Account had it made. Now if you would please follow me?"

Prosper led Fren to the door that the Micah guarded dearly. He opened the door and entered the vault room, explaining the procedure on retrieving and accessing the Account.

"You will need to enter the Account number and Account codename into the touchpad. You will only have one try. The mechanical arm will then retrieve and place the safety deposit box on the conveyer belt at which time you will be allowed to open the box at the convience of the table provided." He pointed to the table in the middle of the room.

"You will have as much time as you like and it is up to you to figure out how to open the box itself. Please knock on the door three times when you are ready to come out."

"Oh." Fern found herself shutting up at that, lips pressing shut a wee bit. She followed Prosper to the guarded door, clearing her own throat slightly. "Okay. Yeah. Alright."

The draconic woman slid inside, hesitating as she made sure the numbers were right in her head beffore doing as the man had explained before. Her fingers shook but not enough t ******** anything up, luckily.

...or was it lucky?

When nothing happened for a long moment, cold sweats burst out over Ferns flesh and her tail twitched. Then, slowly, movement started. The conveyor belt moved, delivering to her a small box.

Key firmly in hand, Fern moved the box just slightly, to be in the 'proper' place. Still, her hand was shaking. DAMNIT! She'd killed countless people but this... This was just a stupid KEY.

There was a little shape in the top of the box - a bare indent that many wouldn't even see. But it was large enough for her to actually make out and the key hovered over it before dropping.

It was pushed into the box and not even the turn had to be made. The box started clicking, making the girl jump away - key still in the box. "Holy ********." Squeaking a little as the box popped open, revealing a little heirloom that resembled the key she held in her hand. It was a knife. Or something.

Fern took the heirloom carefully into her hands, looking it over with delicate fingers. It was razor sharp on the blade although the 'waves' were...glass? Painted ivory? Whatever they were, they weren't dangerous. Not to her anyway.

She was assuming, anyway.

That hadn't taken so much time, had it? The albino woman glanced towards teh door, moving to knock briskly at the exit three times. She had the key in her hand, the heirloom in the other. It was time to LEAVE.

Three knocks sounded from within the vault room at which Prosper responded to quickly by opening the door. He stepped aside, allowing Fern to exist the room and then directed the young draconic woman towards the lounge corner.

He carried with him a manilla folder and a leather bound notebook. Seating himself across from the new Owner, he looked up at her expectantly, "Do you have any questions before we begin m'am?"

Fern was still partilly distracted by the Heirloom in her hands, eyes on the shiny, glistenin surgace of the artifact. Propsers voice made her look up from her seat on the lounge, face flushing slightly.

"Yeah. What the HELL do I do with this thing? Does it just sit there and look pretty?"

Unbottoning his blazer, he took a seat across from the woman and begin the long process of explaining the purpose of Past Legacies. He explained to her the magic that the Heirloom and Key have and how they would manifest themselves into child and creature. He also spoke in vauge words of Fern's ancestor, the creator of the Account. Prosper then explained the potential of the Record and the rules that needed to be followed.

After his long explaination. He waited, hands folded. "If you have no further questions, then all that needs to be done is the certificate. You need to choose a name for this Legacy, it is a boy. After the certificate is complete you are free to go home until I call you back for the manifestion of the Account."
