I love ska especially bands like : Goldfinger, streetlight manifesto, Reel big fish, i voted for kodos and many others.

Its a little less punk form of punkrock its marvelous check for bands like Goldfinger and Boy Hits Car.

Eh.. Goldfinger, RBF, Less than Jake.. are they in the categorie Ska? :/
I know Five Iron Frenzy is Ska.. but thats totally different from the bands mentioned.. confused

I think there are a couple different styles within ska. You have the almost punk rock ska type , and the more mellow fast ska. I think.

I only like ska if I'm going to see it live, I don't think I could listen to it otherwise, the guitar parts seem to repeititve for me....but yeah Less Than Jake is definitely from my college town, they played a small show here last year...I heard it was good.
