It is the year 3006. Humans have made contact with other life forms within their galaxy and have settled on various planets once thought to be out of reach. Kleio is one of these planets.

Kleio is a moderately populated planet with various races from throughout the galaxy. It's capital city, Ridan, is a bustling metropolis where these various cultures meet and mingle.

Recently a series of mysterious murders have occured, leaving very few clues and too many questions. It is to the point where Kleio's top investigative team has been brought in: the Ridan Investigation Unit, or RIU. It is up to this group of five experts to solve these murders before the murderers claim another victim.

A lot of the time (mostly in the morning and daylight hours) she is quiet and reserved, but she has a very twisted sense of humor when she does emerge from her shell. Ignorance makes her cranky, so it's advised that you approach her only if you can keep up with her train of thought. (Good luck with that. sweatdrop ) She doesn't like to share her toys, but grudgingly took the job since the raw materials needed for her weapons are hard to come by when one is a civilian.

Though her telekinesis has been neglected to almost the point of non-existence, Reaper has highly atuned her telepathic skills. (It's impossible to lie to her, much less keep a secret. However, her mind is comparable to Fort Knox in it's blocking skills.) It is rumored she illegally modified parts of her body with unlicensed/unregistered prototypes of her own design to achieve such a high level of psychic ability.

Personality: Gabriel is very serious about his work, but not as serious as Bard. He has known Bard for a few year. They worked together before she was given her own team. Gabriel likes to have fun evey once in a while and he does this by making fun of or annoying Bard. He likes to call her by her first name, and that is how he thinks of her in his head.

Independant and trustworthy, she's as honest as they come, and, though it's not easy to gain her trust and friendship, once you do nothing short of death will stop her from honoring that bond. Kat can come to a quick decision and stick with it, no matter who tries to stop her or what they do.

However, the form he takes most often and considers his original form is that of a 6' 0" man with long, dirty blond hair, a stubbly chin, and thick rim glasses. His eyes are a dull ivy green which are often consealed by his long hair and glasses. He usually wears indescreat clothes like jeans or zip-up nylon shirts underneath a dull black foot lenght jacket with silver fastenings.
Personality: Tachibana is an easy going and flirtatious man whose charm is rivaled only by his impatience. He is a quick thinker and tends to make snap decisions. He relies on luck most of the time, because he is too impatient to take precautions.
Job/Position: hitman, will do undercover work with his shape-shifting, as well as "dirty" jobs such as assassinations, burgluries, ect. Basicly, anything for money. Recently, he's been devoting most of his time to the Game Master's work because he finds it interesting as well as profitable.
Nickname: Ta'ni, comprised of the first 2 letters of his first and last name, which, when put together, mean "bull that charges randomly" in Danrit (his home planet) street slang.

Other:Yuri has the abbility of flight. Her wings fold into her body when she does not use them. She can also control the wind somewhat. Her weapon of death she uses the most is her sword, but she would use anymeans neccessary to complete her mission.

Personality: Flek is usually cold, calculating, and greedy. On the other hand, he can be quite suave when he is trying to get his way.
Job/Position: Game Masters/Founder
Nickname: The Count
Other: Flek has the ability to creat illusions of all kinds. He also has telepathic abilities. Flek was one of the founding members of the Game Masters, and he sometimes likes take an active part in the execution of their plots.

Teiraila Kom sat in front of her computer, yawning. She working on her new program for RIU. She was beginning to write the code for the program when her phone rang. She fished it out of her bag next to her laptop and flipped it open her cell. "Tei here!" she called into it.

"Sure, Bard! I can be there as soon as you need me! I was just setting up the new DA program. I'll be at HQ in about 20 minutes! I'll be able to work in the light there better anyway." She said as she began to throw her tools into a messenger bag.

"k, see you at HQ!" Tei said, hanging up and throwing the phone into the bag with the rest of her stuff. She dashed out of her apartment and hopped into her speeder. going as fast as she could, without significantly breaking the law, Tei arrived at head quarters in a flat 16 minutes. She bounded up the steps to the door and into the large building.

Morgana looked at her watched and then back to where the techs were finishing their jobs.

"Here you go, Bard." Captain Rayn said, jerking her from her thoughts. In his hands was a medium sized box filled with the various evidence that was collected. "I'll have someone send you the photos of the scene once we get them developed."

"Thanks." Morgana replied, reliving Ryan of the box. "I'll let you know if we find anything."

She took the box back to the speeder and climbed in. She would call the rest of the team as they were needed, if they were needed before regular hours.

After a quick side stop, Morgana finally arrived at HQ. She walked into her team's work area cradeling the box on her right side and holding a bag in the right hand.

"Thanks again, Tei." She called out, setting the box down and then handing the bag to Tei. "I got you some breakfest."

"The small park on the north side of the city. A humanoid woman, mid to late 30's, shot in the back of the head." Bard said, going through the box.

"Not much to show. A couple of footprints, some kind of hair, some litter." She recited as she came across each item in the box. "And of course, what seems to be this person's calling card."

She held up a bag containing a piece of a board game. "I guess this has something to do with a nickname or group name."

"The pictures of the crime scene should arrive later today."

"That really doesn't narrow things down. For all we know the victim could own a cat, the murder could own a cat, the victim could have had shifted into a cat if she was a shapeshifter, or the murder could have been humanoid as well." Morgana sighed.

"We'll find more out when we get an ID on the vic. Let's see if we what we can find out about those footprints."
