I just got back from a fairly boss-some ECW house show that was a jillion times better than the crap that's been on tv lately.

1st, a sweet match-up between Shannon Moore and C.W. Anderson that ended with Shannon landing a sweet corkscrew senton and a 3-count. Moore is apperently heel right now razz

2nd match was between C.M. Punk and that vampire guy that keeps showing up on ECW. Vampire guy got heckled pretty bad, and he was only okay, but he knew how to work the gimmick (I.E., he freaked-out pretty comicly when Punk and the fans starting making cross gestures witht their fingers) and.....I think Punk won. s**t, I don't remember the fight that much, but I'm pretty sure he won.....it wasn't really a highlight of the night, I'll say that much, but I really can't wait to see Punk on ECW soon.

3rd event was a bikini contest between Francine and Kelly Kelly the Exhibitionist. Jee-ZUS. Francine barely had ANYTHING on, and everyone TOTALLY had her back, while everyone just booed K.K and her generic blue skimpy bikini. However, I don't think the creative team expected that at all, so Francine acted like she was being booed, and Kelly just kept acting like everyone liked her. It was a fan vote, decided by cheers, and Francine TOTALLY won, but this was a story angle more than anything else so they still declared K.K. the winner. They cat fight (boss-some) and Francine leaves while Kelly starts a strip show. That Knox guy comes out, we all heckle him real bad, he covers up Kelly, "You suck d**k" chants, yada-yada-yada, onward to the next bought.

It was a tag-team match-up between the F.B.I. (Guido and Tomy Mamaluke) against......some nobody heels that I can't remember. I guess some new OVW talent they're developing for ECW Live or something......F.B.I. lost to various dirty tactics, but not before giving a great show. The new guys were decent, but they were mostly just getting beat-up and then fighting with random dirty tactics, so they need some work.....

Dreamer comes out, gets a great crowd reaction, does his whole "It's great to finally be in Austin!" speech-promo, and then has an epic match with Test. Now, Dreamer isn't exactly known for being a technical wrestler or anything like that, but he knows how to pace himself in the ring and put up a good show, so that, combined with Tests power and wrestling ability, pretty much made for a great show, with Test getting the win with a 3-count after landing a devastating pumphandle slam.

Then it's Knox vs Balls Mahoney. Jeez. Knox SUCKED! You probably already know that though, having seen him on television, but fortunatly Balls saved the day with his awesomeness, but he still lost to Knox's little finisher.....the reverse STO or whatever the ******** it is. Balls managed to save the match from being a stinker, but they really need to stop giving Knox a push.....

Before Balls can leave the ring, friggin' Steven Richards pops out with a Kendo stick and beats the shizzy outta Balls with a kendo stick for seemingly no reason. Then, Sandman appears, in the stands, beer and kendo stick at hand! This was a bit of a highlight for me, as he kinda walked around the whole arena, with me chasing him around the whole time. It was pretty fun. Richards challenges Sandman to a match of Sandman's choosing. Sandman makes it a Singapore Cane Match and what followed was an epic battle. Sandman managed to get the win, and Richards, after Sandman already left the ring, limped to the ring announcer, whispered in his ear, and left. The announcer then informed us that Richards wanted to let us all know that "He's okay and will be able to make to ECW Live tomorrow night on Sci-Fi". Allota folk starting booing him afterwards and were chanting that he should return to Heat....I never actually watched him on Heat or anything, so i can't really judge, but I thougt the match was pretty decent to whatever......

Then, came the main event: A Hardcore rules match for the ECW Championship title of the World: Sabu vs Big Show! It's pretty much what you'd expect: Sabu fights with various chairshots, top robe attacks, and alot of strong punches to the face, while Big Show slowly smashes the hell out of Sabu with poweful chops and various slams. Big Show, early on in the match, tries to leave, and only comes back because "My contract says I've got to finish this match, and I'm not gonna lose my money because you bozos." and continues on. Sabu botched a moonsault off the mid-rope, but caught himself and managed to pull it off after a few adjustements. Sabu actually manages to put Show through the table in the corner near the end of the match, and goes under the ring to grab another table.....except the the damn legs fall off as soon as he tries to stand it up. So, he decides to try and put Show through the remainaing half of the table that's still intact enough for smashing......and gets caught by Big Show with a choke-slam onto that chunk of table. Big Show gets the win with a 3-count. The table didn't break, so I'm a little bit freaked out for Sabu, but he gets up looking pretty good, so, myeah......

This was a pretty damn awesome evening. I was responsible for starting some "E-C-DUB!", "YOU SUCK d**k!", "GUIDO, GUIDO!!!", "BALLS, BALLS, BALLS!" and "YOU CAN'T WRESTLE!" chants, so that was REALLY awesome, and I attempted a couple "PUTO!" and "JOTO!!!" chants, but I guess there just wasn't enough Mexican fans around for that to work, but it was still damn awesome. I managed to pat Balls Mahoney, Sandman, and Dreamer throughout the evening, and I managed to get me a wood-chip from the table that Show was smashed through.

My only complaint for the evening was there wasn't enough cool stuff being sold (just ECW t-shirts and the new ECW dvd) and security kept making us go back to our seats when we stood at ring side for too long during matches.....also, Knox still pretty much sux cox, so to speak......
