These PrCs and Races are intended for use in the Hero Duels campaign only. As a note to DM's, they are very powerful, so be wary of allowign them in your campaign if someone asks. They are intended as NPC classes, not PC classes, and are World-Specific.

Holy Mage
An Arcane Prestige Class

Requirements:
Alignment: Lawful Good
Base Attack Bonus: +5
Feats: Spell Focus (Holy), Greater Spell Focus (Holy)
Special: Able to cast level 5 Arcane Spells, 1 or more levels in Wizard, Initiation by another Holy Mage, Meets the prerequisits of the Sacred Vow feat.

Class Abilities:

Sacred Vow: At first level, a Holy Mage takes a vow to serve the forces of good. The Mage gains the Benefit of the Sacred Vow feat. He must meet the prerequisits for the feat before he may take a level of Holy Mage.

Holy Magic: All spells cast by the Holy Mage gain the (Good) and (Light) descriptors. In addition, they gain the ability to spontaneous cast healing spells as would a cleric.

Energy Halo: As a move action, the Holy Mage may radiate bright light from his body, shedding bright light in an area with a 20ft radius about him, and illuminating out to 40ft.

Bane of Evil: The Holy Mage becomes enraged in the prescense of evil creatures, unlocking within him a capacity for more powerful magics. When casting spells upon evil beings, the spells deal an extra 2d6 damage to the creature, regardless of whether or not the spell already deals damage. This damage bonus increases to +4d6 at 4th level.

Aura of Holiness: The Holy Mage exudes an 10-ft radius Aura of Good similar to that of a Lawful Good Paladin or Cleric. In addition, all evil creatures within the area of effect take -2 to all rolls.

Bonus Feat: The Holy Mage gains an additional feat. This feat may be chosen from either Metamagic or Exalted Feats.

Searing Light: As a full action, the Holy Mage may cast Searing Light from his eyes on any undead creature within range. The effective caster level for this ability is equal to his Wizard levels + his Holy Mage levels.

Servant of Harim-da’ar: The Holy Mage swears himself to the service of Harim-da’ar, and is granted a special purpose power from among those listed in the intelligent items list in the DMG. This power is useable only in pursuit of aquiring parts of the Fist of Harim-da’ar or in pursuit of destroying the Scepter of Darkbringers.

Shadow Mage
An Arcane Prestige Class

Requirements:
Alignment: Chaotic Evil
Base Attack Bonus: +5
Feats: Spell Focus (Shadow), Greater Spell Focus (Shadow)
Special: Able to cast level 5 Arcane Spells, 1 or more levels in Wizard, Initiation by another Shadow Mage, Meets the prerequisits of the Willing Deformity feat.

Class Abilities:

Willing Deformity: At first level, a Shadow Mage takes a vow to serve the forces of evil, scarring himself to prove his loyalty. The Mage gains the Benefit of the Willing Deformity feat. He must meet the prerequisits for the feat before he may take a level of Shadow Mage.

Shadow Magic: All spells cast by the Shadow Mage gain the (Evil) and (Shadow) descriptors. In addition, the Mage gains the ability to spontaneously cast Inflict spells as would an evil cleric.

Cloak of Darkness: As a move action, the Shadow Mage may wrap himself in shadows, cloaking an 20-ft radius area around him in magical darkness, and dimming the lighting in a 40ft radius around himself.

Bane of Evil: The Shadow Mage becomes bloodthirsty in the prescense of good creatures, unlocking within him a capacity for more powerful magics. When casting spells upon good-aligned beings, the spells deal an extra 2d6 damage to the creature, regardless of whether or not the spell already deals damage. This damage bonus increases to +4d6 at 4th level.

Aura of Vileness: The Shadow Mage exudes an 10-ft radius Aura of Evil similar to that of an Evil Paladin or Cleric. In addition, all good creatures within the area of effect take -2 to all rolls.

Bonus Feat: The Shadow Mage gains an additional feat. This feat may be chosen from either Metamagic or Vile Feats.

Bestow Curse: As a full action, the Holy Mage may cast Bestow Curse on any living creature within range. The effective caster level for this ability is equal to his Wizard levels + his Shadow Mage levels.

Servant of Drek’nothar: The Shadow Mage swears himself to the service of Drek’nothar, and is granted a special purpose power from among those listed in the intelligent items list in the DMG. This power is useable only in pursuit of aquiring parts of the Scepter of Darkbringers or in pursuit of destroying the Fist of Harim-da’ar.

Drahkal
aka Dark Orcs

Ability Score Increases: +4 Str, -2 Dex, +2 Int, -2 Wis, +4 Cha
Special Abilities biggrin arkvision 120ft, Lowlight Vision, Immune to Poison, Spell Resistance 11 + Character Level.
Skill Enhancements: Drahkal gain a +4 Racial bonus to Search and Spot in underground and poorly-lit indoor areas.
Spell Like Abilities: Drahkal can cast the following spells 3/day:
Darkness, Faerie Fire, Cause Light Wounds. If the Drahkhal's Charisma is 18 or higher, it can also cast the following 1/day: Shadow Evocation, Cause Moderate Wounds.
Favored Class:Sorceror (female) and Barbarian (Male)
Level Adjustment: +3

The Drahkal have a Male, Warrior-oriented society. In other respects, thiers is similar to the Drow and Duergar societies: They live to dominate and enslave the creatures of the surface world, and to subjugate the other subterranean races. They are allied to the Duergar, Drow, and Svirfneblin. Most Drahkal worship Drek'nothar, for it was he who was responsible for taking Orcs and augmenting them with magical power.

Hehe, not at all. I create new classes and races all the time. Such as the Hylian Acolyte, which is in another thread, and I helped Geohound with his FlameCaller.

Theres also a PrC set called the Tainted, which I have yet to post, and then the Avarial/Myotar/Elven Hybrid section I posted also.

Great class concepts! The aura is too powerful, since it affects ALL their rolls the penalty should only be -1. The bane of evil and bane of good are also too powerful. They should be dropped down to +1d6, then +2d6 at the higher level. Other than that I don't have any other constructive criticism. The Holy Mage would mesh really well with the Holy Scourge prestige class, which I think is from Complete Arcane, or maybe Complete Mage. Well done! smile
