Okay, here's the thing. We all know how to spell each other's names, right? Of course, I mean, it's right there on the screen. But anyway, while we may know how to spell them... can we pronounce them?

I just think this would be a fun idea, and who knows, maybe we'll all learn something from it.

Just post your name and then the best way to help people pronounce it.

Okk this is the way Toshio pronounced it so I'm gonna go with it..
(Toshio from Ju-On/ The Grudge which ever works for you.)
If you watched it just say it like him..
(You know when the girl ask him what's your name and he replys "Toshio")

The "To" really sorta sounds like a Do so it's in between...
Shi is more like a Chi but not really Chi.. It's in between too I guess...

mines not to hard either..unless you dont know the right pronounciation of kitsune.

most people say kit like kitten but its keet like parakeet. the sue part you cant ever get wrong and the nay is the hardest part for everyone. XD everyone seems to think the e in kitsune is silent but...its not. i love japanese. tip of the day:

i is pronounced e like the letter e
a is pronounced ah like blah
e is pronounced ay like hey
o is pronounced o like ocean
u and y are multisounds it depends on the word but generally its the same as american u's and y's *nods*

random stuff ignore me.

Well, here's how you pronounce my main chara's name, Inusuke
Inu, In as in the english word 'in', u as in the way you pronounce the o in who, and then it's ska, with a long a.
In ooh skaa is how it's properly pronounced. My other character that I frequently use--and maybe will change to soon-- is Nesuke Sono Ookami No Sono Sora.
Nay skaa Sohno Ookahmee No Sohno Sola((sola as in solar)) Any questions, I would be happy to answer.
