Okay, this is about Curse of Darkness. So in order to get the super cool evolution of the devil familiar you need to get this spear and evolve it with that. . . Now, this is what makes me mad!! In order to get one of the materials, the Devil's Veil, you need to steal it from Isaac when you fight him the first time.
Problem is, I DIDN'T because I later found this out! And it's so sad because this is my second time around playing the game and I've certainly passed that part. sweatdrop I'm wondering, is there a way to get the Devil's Veil somewhere else?? And also is there a mode where you can start over a new game and bring over the old game's weapons and familiars??
Sigh. . . They make it so tough to get this devil evolution! But I want it so much! xD

You know my friend, I had a similar thing happen to me on another game. You see, on Final Fantasy Tactics Advance there are 2 missions where you are supposed to steal the weapon from a certain character and I had no idea that after a while of stealing the weapon from that character over and over again (the character replaces the stolen weapon for another one), he would replace the useless weapon with a super useful weapon. Now I'm way past that part and according to gameFAQs there is no other way to get those weapons I want. I hope there is another way to get that veil you want somewhere else. I sure don't know as I no longer have a PS2 or any means to play Curse of Darkness. crying

You can take another shot at stealing it from him in Boss Rush mode, I am pretty sure. And if you haven't gotten it already, near the first save room in the forest stage, after Dracula's castle rises and the water level drains, so does a lake just outside the save room. There is an extra devil's vein in the chest that had sunken down there. 3nodding

Suireban You can take another shot at stealing it from him in Boss Rush mode, I am pretty sure. And if you haven't gotten it already, near the first save room in the forest stage, after Dracula's castle rises and the water level drains, so does a lake just outside the save room. There is an extra devil's vein in the chest that had sunken down there. 3nodding Really!! Ah! Maybe I can now get the spear. But there's so many other things to get!! ^^ Thank you!

It sucked cuz I didn't know that! sweatdrop

I'm glad that I was able to help as much as I have. heart MY problem with Curse of Darkness is the Tower of Evermore in crazy mode. Even at my current level (80) and with my third and fourth generation IDs, I'm having trouble getting to the bottom. I usually die on the ninth or eighth floor, irritatingly enough, and then I have the complete monotomous climb up and down all over again to look forward to.
