How do you beat Sephiroth????

Hey man kick @$$ sigs. Ok in Kh1 or Kh2. Well in Kh1 what you need to do alot is equip alot of Ethers before you fight him. Under Abilities, Equip Second chance if you haven't done it already. Also his moves are quite poewrful so be on the look out for ones that you can either dodge roll from or gaurd. Watchout for his "Sin Heartless Angel" thing. (thats what I think he says)
THIS SHOULD NOT BE ATTEMPTED UNLESS YOU ARE ON A LEVEL HIGHER OR EQUAL TO 55. (level beaten on 57)

In KHII, you have to have INCREDIBLY fast reflexes to block his attacks. also equip the arial recovery ability. Level up as much as you can. use accesories that boost all your stats, you decide what is most important. The only realy way to defeat Sephiroth is to have the leaf bracer ability equiped. That way, if you fail at using the reaction command to block, you can start the cure magic so that it will take effect after you are damaged. The items you should equip are high potions, more high potions, and elixers and ethers. But practice is the only way you'll succeed, even with all this advice. sweatdrop

What about Auto Valor? It seems that if you use valor a whole lot when you are on a little level you like automatically get it set to auto. That could help.

Valor is good, but you need Goofy to use Valor, and you fight Sephiroth alone. But even if you got to fight Sephiroth with Donald and Goofy, I wouldn't recommend Valor because you can't use any magic while in Valor form. While attack magic doesn't work against Sephiroth, Cure is VITAL to surviving the encounter. I would recommend proceeding with the story until you get Final Form. Not only can you use magic in Final Form, but you also wield two keyblades. That and Final form is INCREDIBLYE powerful. But leveling up and equiping the keyblade(s) that you fight best with are still the two most important pieces of advice I can offer. Trust me, I went through this about...actually I stopped counting after 20 defeats. sweatdrop
But seriously, depending on your stats, which vary depending on how you started the game as Roxas, the Keyblade(s) you choose can determine whether you defeat Sephiroth, or Sephiroth takes your keyblade as a prize. (Don't worry, he doesn't keep it. You just get a Game Over and restart from your last save. sweatdrop )
