This story was based on posts that I made in an RP. There aren't really any chapter brakes, just major character view changes. The first 3 posts are from the RP, the rest was written individually. It's from an X-men Role Play that I am part of. I just changed the names so that it did not raise question. All of this was written by me, I did not steal from anyone else.
The character, Skye, is actually Storm. The character, Blair, is actually Jean Grey. The character, James, is Leech. All of them are from from X-men. I am only using their powers and a small portion of the original character's personality. The characters Jade and Ryane were creations of my own mind. I made them up. The changing of colors signifies that a change of characters is in order. Jade's color is lightblue.Ryane's color is blue.Jame's color is lime green.At anytime please feel free to post ideas or criticism that may help me develop my story.

Jade awoke, in a damp, dark hotel. She sat up abruptly. "Where am I?" she said out to the darkness, to no one. She heard a small sigh from the other side of the room. She jumped up quickly, looking down at her new clothes. It was a uniform.
"Relax Ryane. You are safe hear." Jade looked towards the door.
"Who are you? And why are you calling me Ryane?" a tear fell from an eye in confusion.
"That is your name. Is it not?" the deep voice spoke from the other corner.
She turned her head. "No. It's not." She wiped the tear away and in an effort to see around the room, her hands glowed gold, the healing gold color. Part of the room illuminated and she saw a figure in a chair.
"But you told us that your name was Ryane." He spoke calmly. Seeing the glow, his eyes smiled. "You are at a hospital." Pause. "A hospital for the gifted." He smiled toothily and his teeth shined in the small light.
Jade looked up. "I wish to leave."
"Oh. But why?"
Jade decided not to answer. She extinguished the glow and the room became solid black, only a small crack of light flooded in through the bottom of the door. She ran and flung the door open, running down the white hall in her grey uniform.
The man did not follow. Jade continued to run towards the front door and she pushed it open, running into the parking lot. That was too easy, she thought to herself. She moved to a car and tried the door. It was locked, she went around to the other side and tried that door. It was locked also. She moved to a different car, it wasn't quite as expensive as the first car she had gone to. She went to the back and smashed the window, crawling in to the driver's seat, she began to hotwire the car. The alarm was blaring in her ear, but she overcame the noise. After 2 minutes, the car started and she sped out of the parking lot. As she raced down the road, she saw a small building and slowed down to ask questions.
She pulled into the parking lot, thinking about the man who had addressed her as Ryane. She got out of the car and stepped into the building. A woman came around a corner and stopped as she saw Jade. Her eyes were wide as she looked at the uniform. "You’re from that hospital. Aren't you?" she said softly, a bit afraid.
Jade didn't answer immediately. She thought for a minute. "Yeah," Changing subjects, she said kindly, "Can you tell me where we are?"
The woman looked at her. “The closest building is the big mansion. It's a couple miles down the road." With that, Jade turned back to the door. "Thank you." she as she stepped out of the door and got back in the car, speeding off to try and find the school.
She pulled into a small field and parked the car, getting out she headed for the school that she had not seen for awhile. She reached the door, just as nervous as she had been the first day that she had come. She pushed the door open and stepped into the main hall and saw a few students walking around.

James kicked in his sleep. His foot hit a wall and abruptly, he woke in pain. Grasping his foot, he stood up. The sheet that lay loosely atop him, moved lightly. The air that came through the crack in the window, moved it. He stood up, letting the sheet fall on the ground. His small 12 year-old figure moved over to the dresser, and pulled out a small grey uniform. He put it on and slowly opened the door, confused as to where he was. He slipped out into the hall. "Where am I?" he thought to himself. He saw many doors down the hall. All of them had a number and a medical form on them. He looked at his own door.
It said, Room 7. Race: Unknown. Name: James.
He ripped the paper from his door and he walked down the hall and slipped into a room that had no number or paper on the door. It was a file room. He moved over to it and looked for his file. He found it and quickly snatched it out. Quickly, he flipped through it, realizing where he was and what had happened to him. Apparently he had been tested on and all of the tests had been documented. He folded the papers and put them into the pocket of his uniform. As he began to close the cabinet, he saw another interesting file. It had a picture of a woman. Her name was Ryane.
He took the file also, to read it later. James didn't care if it was government property or not. Considering that they had used him, he deserved some small payback. He looked out of the small window that was in the door and saw a nurse walk by. As she passed and entered the room that he had awoken in, he opened the door and ran to the end of the hallway to escape. Knowing that the nurse would soon set off an alarm, he turned the door knob, readying himself to run. He moved out of the door, closing it quietly behind him.
He ran. Going nowhere in particular, but trying to find some place to rest. Eventually coming upon a large mansion, he walked towards it and knocked on the front door. "Hello?" he said, feeling childish and tired.

Jade heard the knock and she turned around to open the door. She looked down on a small boy. The boy looked to be 4 or 5 years younger than herself. He was wearing a uniform that was identical to hers. "Come in." she said trying to be kind.
James stepped inside and blinked back, recognizing her as the girl from the file that he stolen. Ryane.
Jade looked around and sensed that something major was happening. "Where is everyone?" she said, trying to find an answer. All of the people she knew or had known were nowhere to be found. After finding an older student she asked questions. "Where is everyone?" she said firmly.
"I'm not sure, but Skye said it was important." That was not near enough information to go on, but she had no choice, she turned around and got in the car. "Hey kid." she called to James. "Are you comin’ or not?"
As he heard her call, James ran to the car and got in, excited to finally be a part of something that he had a choice in. Together, they sped off to a place where the weather had turned terrible.
Jade knew that Skye had caused that. Once they reached it, she parked the car. "What exactly is your power? It might be helpful to know..."
James paused, thinking about how to explain it. "Well... I take power. I stop power. Like... draining someone of power."
Jade's eyes opened in a bit of shock. "Alright then, let’s go help the others." They ran into the building where all of the commotion was going on. As they ran, James continued his explanation of how his power worked.
Jade heard yelling and smashing, so she quickly readied herself to help. She projected herself right next to her other-self and the 3 of them, Jade, her astro-self, and James continued running to the end of the hallway where the battle was happening. She stood in the doorway for a minute, seeing Skye get hit by Vile's energy beam and Blair struggling to keep up a psychic barrier up against him. Without thinking, she ran to Skye's side, to help her up. Her Astro-self stood motionless in the doorway. "Skye, are you alright?"
Jade held her hands out, above Skye and quickly healed her, she was fully healed. Jade looked over at the doorway. Her Astro-self was gone and she hadn't realized it. She had focused too fully on Skye and had forgotten about her Astro-self that had previously been standing in the doorway. Jade stood up and scanned the room quickly, finding her Astro-self running down a different hallway that connected to the same room. Confused, she attempted to call back her Astro-self but it wouldn't come. Instead she received a message; "Leave me be." was all it said.
There, across the room, stood her Astro-self, glaring at Vile. Her hands were glowing, but not with the usual gold, healing color. But, a strange black, euphoric smoke.
As they began to glow, James moved closer to the Astro and the glow stopped.
"What are you doing?" she said angrily. "Why did you stop me? Move away!"
James looked up to her. "Ryane?" he said softly. The Astro looked back, confused as to how he knew her name was Ryane.
Jade looked across and saw Leech standing there with her projection and confusion set in. Why can I not control it? Why can I not hear what he is saying to me? WHAT IS HAPPENING?!

Ah, very, very nice! You have done well! The only thing, is that you need to describe the characters more, and how they know each other, and all that jazz, but otherwise, it was good!
