Who do you think Alucard was before the Hellsing organiztion? We all know he was Count Dracula, Alucard IS Dracula backwards. But who else?

i dont think he was really anybody. vampires usually keep a low profile so maybe he just did his own thing until he was captured by van hellsing.he could have traveled the world for all we know.

This is when he was count Dracula, and it is to be assumed that the other man is Van Helsing, because he captured Alucard, and Alucard is now in the Helsing orginization.

It took place around the early 1900s or 1899 or so. You can always read the book Dracula for more details.
