Lucy
(Known by Kouta as Nyuu)
Strength:Her Vectors are capable of lifting some very heavy weight in the Anime starting out with a pair of boats. her Vector arms at one point actually throw a pen hard enough to pierce into a man's skull. Later on they lift a small Speedboat.
Speed:Nothing really impressive in running speed, actually in the opening scene in the Anime she was walking the entire time. Her Vectors are extremely fast, fast enough to block bullets as they are shot.
They also can rip people of well above the speed of giving a decent explanation. Director Kurama actually called them "as Fast as light" though that may have been Hyperbole..
Durability/Endurance:Her Vectors are capable of blocking Most Bullets, in the Anime it took an Anti-Tank Rifle to pierce through them, a Tungston Round fired from a Seemingly normal Sidearm also seems to be effective as well, Lead or copper however will not do the job.
Intellect:Kouta once asked her (though to be fair she WAS Nyuu) for some water while he was sick, Nyuu rustled up a slipper and later on several other objects (including a Blow Dryer)
Lucy seems fairly intellegent about Average intellect possibly above. She's fairly tricksy in combat however. She did have normal Schooling at about Elementary Level but seemed to have spent most of her life in isolation, so it's doubtful she has much in terms of book smarts.
Fighting Skill:She can properly use a Machine gun in the Anime. Thats about it for Non-Vector related Fighting skill. With her Vectors though she managed to kill 23 people in around 5 minutes in the beggining, each of these men were armed with Guns but with light or possibly no armor.
Techniques/Powers:
Lucy only has one Power but it's dangerous:
Vectors: These are invisible arms (in and are also the reason she and any other Diclonicus like her has horns which actually have the piece in her brain (Temporal Lobe) that control them [Presumebly anyway, the Analysis isn't complete in the Anime]. these Vectors that as mentioned earlier can block most bullets fired from a normal gun, and can also move fast enough to intercept them, are powerful enough to rip or sometimes even seeming cut up Human Flesh and bone in a millisecond. they can lift well beyond the normal human rate, their big weakness is in Nana's Case it is possible to temporarily Disable them (she takes her Vector and pokes one on the forehead and the Vectors are rendered useless for a time) and if one were to remove her horns she would be unable to use him (also would stop moving for several minutes, likely due to shock from the pain)
Another weakness is that they have a finite reach (in lucy's case 2 Meters, and Nana 3 or 4 meters) which they offset by throwing objects on the ground at severely high speeds.
Gear:No Gear
She was Naked when she washed up on the shore and met Kouta and Yuka, actually she was Naked Througout the entire beggining of Elfen Lied so you'd be damn hardpressed to find any gear on her.
Notes: Has an odd case of DID caused by her getting hit on the side of her head with a bullet her past may also have something to do with it, this other Identity called Nyuu is very similiar to Chii from Chobits, isn't precisely intellegent and until near the end of the Series cannot speak even Conversational English (or more accurately Japanese) until a few episodes toward the end.
In her flashbacks she's also seemed to have strange Hallucinations similiar to a Schizophrenic.
History:Outside of the Horns Lucy was a fairly normal girl until some point (when her abilities started to Manifest) she began to get these Murderous Urges. these were triggered when some school Bullies killed a dog she was taking care of, Lucy tore them to pieces and left blood all over the walls. After that she began living on the run. at this point she met Kouta. Kouta took her to the Zoo and showed her a good time the two of them got along famously. (though at certain points Lucy tried to Deny in an amusing fashion) after nearly choking him to death Lucy told Kouta that if she were to kill a large group of people she wanted him to kill her.
