`J A P A N E S E 101. Welcome!
Here's the deal; My name is Brenna, and I'll be giving you links to help you learn the gist of Japanese, okay?
No, I do not speak very well, myself, but I'm willing to help you help me (and vise versa) through learning it together!
My brother, however, is getting a degree to move to Japan and teach english to Japanese students.
We took part in a Japanese exchange student course when he was in Grade 11, and when I was nine.
Soo, 5 years later, and I finally took the guts to try and learn the language!
I know the gist, (The hello, good-bye, how are you, my name is, I am from, thank-you, and so on) but what I really want is to learn how to have a conversation!

It's not a website but I bought a Japanese for Dummies book as well as a Japanese for Busy people book (and a pocket size english to japanese and vice versa dictionary). They have helped a lot. I'm going through everything more or less the same way they taught us spanish at my school.

They have helped a lot. I'm going through everything more or less the same way they taught us spanish at my school.
I have Fish for Dummies and Weather for Dummies.

-buys Japanese for Dummies-If we're also suggesting textbooks, I suggest Genki! Their website is helpful with the starting bits, and past that, the textbook pwns. It keeps things interesting, because it's a manga-ish textbook. Where Mary goes on a date, but can't find her date! Poor Mary... xDDD
