Ok so this is my first RP (i wonder if they are going to let me do this... we shall see!!)
so anyone can join and be any character they want! but there obviously cannot be two of the same character so i will post all characters that are being used!!
um...
oh yeah!! anybody can go off on there own adventures you don't have to stick with me, so like if you leave, or start in a different world,every time we switch events put like "Meanwhile cloud and his party et cetera"
OK?! oh, and everybody has to meet up for the final chapter!!or battle or whatever...keep that in mind (if there is an end anyways)mwahahha!!
have fun be silly or whatever!!

The ruins had become a tourist attraction, but Squall didn't care. They were still something like a home to him, and he still had to visit. The war destroyed it, so now it became famous, just like everything else. This town, this world, was all fake anyways. He was well aware of the other worlds. That old guy called them Fantasy Worlds, even put numbers on them. He called this place Eight. Squall was annoyed by that...

(My first ever RP post)
Not far away from Squall's location, in the nearby forest...
A certain worn down red beast quietly recovering from a run-in with a native monster...
"Why couldn't I use my materia?" He asked himself.
Still recovering, he fails to remember how he even ended up in the forest. As he recovers he speaks to himself to try to assess how and where he was...
"Okay, I was in Cosmo Canyon. I was going down to visit my father. I reached the old demon gate and then..." He trailed off, noticing a faint smell of something probably hostile.
He readied himself for the worst...

Brooding, but only a little, Squall turned away from the ruins and headed down a path that led to a nearby forest. "I guess, Balamb will never be the same."
Still, deep inside of his thoughts, he still wondered about them. If they were doing alright. He hadn't seen them for ages. Were his friends doing alright?
"I miss the adventure and the excitement..." he held on firmly to the handle of the gunblade, as he walked through the forest.

Nanaki yelped as a Caterchipillar ambushed him.
"What is that thing?!" he exclaimed questioningly. "Materia or no, I can probably still take it down." he said as he rushed at the overgrown bug. "You'll be sorry you messed with me!"
The Caterchipillar sprayed a spray of silk at Nanaki, halting his movement.
"Just great... Now what?" He asks himself as he hears something approaching from behind, but unable to see as he cannot turn around...

Squall leaped over the monsters victem and sliced the overgrown bug in half, he went over to the silk covered creature and tore off the silk, revealing a creature Squall had never seen before,"...the hell?"

"Thank you," Nanaki said as he tried to catch his breath, "I must be weaker than I thought I was." he continued.
Nanaki shook the remaining bits of silk from his fur. He looks up at a mildly surprised Squall.
"Something wrong?"

As the beast began to speak, even more shock spread through Squall. So the old man was not false after all. "I've never seen anything like you before, I don't even know what to call you...and what even are you? Where did you come from? Do you know where you are now?" Squall realized his ranting was making the creature anxious, but he felt a aura of wisdom and security from it. He let it answer...

"Calm down please," Nanaki started, "As far as I know, I'm the last of my kind. It doesn't matter what I am. People have called me Red XIII, but my name is Nanaki, son of the warrior Seto. I came from Cosmo Canyon. No I don't know where I am now... Why are you so surprised?"
Nanaki could see just by the look of this guy that he doesn't get excited often...
"Am I not supposed to be here? Maybe you could inform me of my location... maybe even explain why my materia isn't working?"

Squall gathered his composure. "Well, Nanaki..." he still found it hard to believe it was talking. "My name is Squall Leonheart, I am a SeeD from Balamb Garden. If I'm right you have probably never heard of any such place.
"I'm not sure what you're materia is but I think it's not working because, well... I don't think you're in you're world..."
He let Nanaki soak that in.
"I met an old man, he was very odd...he didn't tell me his name, he just told me that the worlds are connected, he said that he, and I, and everything else was all just a dream...
"He was strange because, I had never seen anybody dress like that. Purple robes, dark round glasses, a snow white beard, and the strangest part, he was riding around on a green round platform, it was hovering off the ground. And when he left me with this info, he chuckled HO HO HOOO."
Squall looked at Nanaki...

"Grandpa..." Nanaki started, "His name is Bugenhagen, and I was told by a strange young man with no shirt and a leather glove on his right hand that he was no longer in my world."
Nanaki stood silent for a second...
"That guy made me feel uneasy." He started, "I was out traveling... The other residents of Cosmo Canyon said grandpa had died, that he had gone down the back way of the canyon and never returned, afraid one of the spirits had gotten him. I was just returning, finally accepting that he was gone, when that young man appeared as if from nowhere before me."
*Flashback to the scene*
???: "Bugenhagen is still alive."
Nanaki: "What?"
???: "He is in another world... which one is beyond me, but he is definately still alive..."
Nanaki: "Who... What are you?"
???: "That is not for you to know, Nanaki, Shinra lab code name Red XIII, Son of Seto, etc."
Nanaki: "How do you know me?"
???: "Again, not for you to know... I guess I can tell a little about me... I guess you can call me a dimensional traveler, I only go to places I know about, and currently I am here as a small group of dimensions are starting to connect and mix... I'm slightly worried about the chance of dimensional instability.
Nanaki: "Dimensional instability? So Grandpa is in another world? How?"
???: "I'm not sure, but I'm going to look into it... Since these worlds are actually closely related, the chance of these getting unstable is slim." The guy paused, "Maybe you should pay a visit to your father... Since I'm here, I'm going to go bother Cloud... See ya Red."
*Flash return to forest*
Nanaki looked up at Squall, "And with that said, the guy just... vanished... The oddest thing about him was the smell... He looked human, he sounded human, but he smelled... distinctly inhuman, I cannot describe it any better than that." Nanaki shook his head, "After he left, I went to see my father like he told me, and almost there, I found myself here... Oh yeah, he also said something about me maybe getting mistaken for a mutant Moomba in the near future, but I didn't understand that part... Do you know what a Moomba is?"

"...um yeah, it's a little creature with...well...um never mind, it's a long story. So we need to find your grandfather..." he paused, he wondered if he should tell her that he was leaving, going on another adventure. Nah, I don't want to worry her, or have her tag along. By the way it sounded this could end up being a dangerous journey. "Well, Nanaki, we should go find your grandfather. When I last saw him, he appeared to be headed for Timber, we should go search for him there."
They bought a ticket to Timber and boarded the train that ran under the ocean. They went into the tunnel and all went black. The lights of the cabin turned on. "So, are you up to this journey? We may have to do some fighting."

"I can fight," Nanaki responded, "just not used to fighting without materia to enhance my fighting ability."
Nanaki looked around at the fancy train car as he started to speak, "You know, we don't really need to find Grandpa... i'm sure he can handle himself just fine."
"Why don't you tell me what is up, something about you just says you are acting a bit... You seem a bit too excited for the type of person you look to be... Maybe just the fact that you are now just acknowledging the existence of other worlds?"

Nanaki awaits a response from Squall, but doesn't appear to be getting one. Silence fills the cabin...
