I mean... Houjo is just sorta... well... Dumb.
Literally... He's slow on the anime.
I'm not saying it to be mean. >>
And... You can't expect much more from his ancestory.
Concerning Kouga, he just wants a woman who can see and track down the jewel shards...
He dosn't seem to really love her.
He just tries to convince her to leave the group by saying nice things.
Concerning Miroku... He's just a pervert who wants to get a feel on young woman once and.... a while(rather, alot).
Houjo could actually... maybe... really fall in love with her...
But that's a good thing. We don't want her in the Fuedal Era anymore... ne?
Oh, and Inuyasha... I think that he loves Kagome.
Mainly because she's there for him at all times and dosn't put up with his s**t(most of the tmie).
Also, being Kikyou reincarnation plays a big role... I think that he probably looks up to her for her trying to be her own person... not another Kikyou.

Hojo likes her because I think he thinks she is cute or something. (I think he likes her mini-skirt and girly behavior) Koga likes her because he wants someone to help him track the Shikon Shards and I think he also likes her girly behavior and mini-skirt. InuYasha likes her because in his mind, she's one of the few people who can actually understand him. Miroku likes her because he hits on every pretty girl he sees. Akitoki (ancient Hojou) likes her because he saw her taking a bath in the second movie. He also likes her because she gave him ramen to eat.
