I personally think. Love is Love, no matter what Age, Sex, Religion, Race, ex...
I think that If you can love somthing, like a cat or a dog. You have the ability to fall inlove in a more Physical, and Spirituall way. So therefore, why should you be restricted?

I believe that people should be able to lve anyone they choose without being judged or looked down on for it. I know a few people why are gay and they're just the same as everyone else. Being gay isn't a sin to me either. I agree with was has already been said, love is love.

Pretty insteresting topic. I could go one about it. I truly think that gays should have the same rights. And if they cant get married they should be able to at least be able to have something close to it. Marriage is a right but they should be able to do what they want. I dont support having kids though. That can severally mess a child up. No offense. But it can. Mentally anyways. They would be rasied with a different sense of life I think. If they were to be parents it should be mom and dad. Not dad and dad or mom and mom. I mean in the relationship theres a dominate and submissive, but when the child grows up I dont think they would get a sense of what the difference is. But it could also open them up to very wide world at a young age.
Also, the kid would most likely harassed while young. It could lead into huge things like fights and low self of steam. So to conclude:
1: Gays should be able to marry 2: But they should not have children and raise them.

People say that everyone is made in God's image, right? My thoughts.
God is Bi.
He just has to be.
Anyway... If we were made in his image, then why are Gay people "mistakes"? I mean, if they are mistakes, then hell, we all must be.
Love is love- and people need to accept that.

Personally, I believe God is without gender, and has trangressed beyond romantic love. But, you do raise a good point. If we were created in God's image, something must have messed up along the way. Look at society. That is what God gets for giving us free thinking.

Christians believe being gay IS a sin only because God made men for women and women for men.

[ Cyrin Eden ] Christians believe being gay IS a sin only because God made men for women and women for men. I'm a Christian and happen to be verry active in my faith. But, if God made everyone in his immage and likeness, and people are gay, how would it be a sin.
I don't agree with the church in this issue. I mean, they are teaching one thing, and claiming another.

Which is very true. The Christan church's ((I will say Cathloic because thats what I am.)) are strict about their teachings on Gay Marrige. The Christian religion's have been the center of contraversy on this subject.
The new generation is more addaptable to new customs, and if you ask most teenagers today. About 80% dissagree with the Church and say that gays should be able to marry. Its mostly the older generations that dissagree, that say that marrige should be between a man and a woman. As discribed in the bible, but contrary to popular belief, God and/or Jesus never said anything dirrectly about the discretion about it.
I have no doubt in my mind that this issue will not be pushed aside or forgotten. With new elections soon to come, and with the hope of a New Pope, this issue is bound to become more of a problem. Although I do think that someday Gay Marriage will be leagal in almost all states. Mine ((MA)) is so far the only one to accept it. But there are atleast 3 on the way to bassing the bill.

Okay, I'll give my opinions here. Please don't feel like you have to completely ignore my post because of a Christian viewpoint. You may express your opinions, too. I just won't like them if you get mad, telling me my religion is messed up, or start flaming. That's not very nice. Now, you may rationally tell me what you believe is wrong, but don't just automatically say one person or the other is wrong.
I think homosexuality is a sin. Sorry, I'm not trying to be mean at all! I definitely have my share of friends who are gay, bi... Whatever. I don't think I know any lesbians (in real life, not on the internet), but I could probably have some friends like that. A sin is a sin. Did you ever lie to anyone? It's a sin. Same thing. According to he Bible, lying is God's most hated sin, and aside from turning from God, it's the worst. Being gay is not te worst thing in the world.
God might not have a gender, but He doesn't seem to have a mate, either. He created woman to be with man. Each should only have one. He created everything the way He wanted it. Man has free will, and even His angels do (they don't have genders, either). Just because man was created in his image doesn't mean that everything thinks, looks, and acts the same way. When a man and a woman are married, they become one body. It doesn't work the same way in God's eyes with a man and a man or a woman and a woman. Sure, they can love, but that's not the way God wants it. And they aren't together in Him until they've gotten that right. Yes, gay people can still be Christian. Liars, well, whomever, can be Christian. Christians aren't perfect (duh!). I make mistakes. I've lied on purpose and I knew it was wrong. It doesn't make my religion stupid. Some things are difficult to change.
I really don't like how people stereotype based on religions or backgrounds. But, hey, it happens. It always will.
