I'm going to deck out a shrine to Morvau here because I have a strange obsession with men who wield giant pipes and can summon hundreds of ninjas of nen smoke.

Aw, yes. Pres. Netero's buddy that didn't totally chicken out on the rest of them. x3
He is pretty cool. I've seen Morau in about two major fights, both toward the end, and he ... well, he kicked butt. ^^ His techniques are really creative, and with his brain it seems as if he can't lose.
It's too bad he had to use up so much stamina already though. I would have really liked to see him duke it out against one of the royal guard. That would have certainly been an interesting fight.

Well what the hell would Nova been able to do in combat anyways? Also the battle plan still is for Movau to solo a royal guard. It's still Knuckle+Shoot against one, then Gon+Killua against another, then Movau has to solo one. How the hell though could Nova quit with Movau as his battle buddy? The man's invincible! I'd freakin' fight with him and I don't have any powers. Now if only Kurapika would team up with him . . .
I think he's had more fights but I know he fought the Cheetah and the Lion guy and pwned them both, and he had the summons fight offpanel with Nefer (too lazy to spell), and I know he had a lot of skirmishes with weaker guys, but I think he really has had more fights.
You'd think that all the smoking would decrease his long capacity some.

You'd think. But somehow, I have to wonder whether it has increased it. x3
He's really still going to fight? Yay! I thought they had changed the battle plan because of Morau's having to fight so darn much. x3 I was worried for Shoot there for a while. ^^
Kurapika and Morau together... Now that would be interesting. In fact, it would be frighteningly effective. o.O I can see it now... Every member of the Genei Ryodan ... either running for their lives through the dense smoke or already dead. x3

He's hard to draw! Dx
I had to do a head shot for him for the upcoming page of my doujinshi, and it was really hard to get the shape of his face down. And his sunglasses ... *shivers*
Well anyway, I guess my point is: Yes, there should be more Morau fanart out there in the world, but I can understand why there isn't. x3

i think it's because he's not that pivotal of a character. now, i agree that he's a pretty cool guy but he underestimated gon. he disrespected gon and nearly got blown away if it hadn't been for killua.

He looked down on Killua-kun too. T.T
But back then, he was right. Gon and Killua were no where near how strong they needed to be to go against the royal guard. They were excrutiatingly weak in comparison.
It's only after each of them has overcome their demons that they really gain strength of mind and body enough to be respected by someone like Morau who is obviously very powerful.

Here's the thing Morau could take on just about anyone by himself he could probably go four on one with Gon, Killua, Knuckle, and Shoot. Although besides increasing their Ren and endurance, and overcoming their demons, I feel Gon and Killua haven't changed too much well one new technique each but we haven't really seen them be used.

Heh. I bet he could do just that. x3 It may be a little tricky, but I think he could pull it off quite nicely.
As for Gon and Killua, Gon gets his butt beat and has to deal with real loss for the first time in a long time. He isn't allowed to join Kaito-san's rescue party, and he gets very mad at himself, even if he tries to hide it. That helps a lot. Coming back from a defeat like that really can strengthen a person, even if it's not immediately visible. And Killua's particular, little demon actually changes him very prominantly. Throughout the entire series, Killua tends to shy from direct fights, especially ones he feels he can't win. You see it all the time. But after he fights that chimera ant and overcomes what it was that was causing that sort of thinking to occur, he was able to go on and continue fighting without looking back or running away. Running away is something he is very uncomfortable with, so it's nice to see that he is able to stop. Then again, it also feels like a horrible foreshadowing theme. xP

the part where he found out that Illumi stuck a weird needle in his head, the fight with the weird questionable chimera ant.

I didn't think it was misfortunate at all. Killua finally overcame the plague that had been troubling him throughout the entire series. That was one of the absolute best parts of the Chimera Ant story arc. ^^
