At first, she seemed like just another bossy older sister. But then she started to get into her parents' ghost hunting...sort of. She mainly tries to help her half-ghost brother. She gets perfect grades and acts older than she really is. She is like an adult in a teenager's body. She likes to help people.

Astera_Renata ~What, no one likes Jazz? crying Well, in case someone does, here's some original character development sketches of Jazz from before the show aired: Aren't they great? ^_^ Some of those are kinda creepy, but awesome! xd Of any Danny Phantom character, I'm the most like Jazz. I'm the "overbearing older sister" to my 2 year younger brother. I do pretty well in school and care about where I go to college etc. I've also done a few things like when Jazz was trying to get Spike to open up. At least my parents don't make killer hotdogs... ...though we do have real paranormal investigators (focusing solely on ghosts coincidentally) in my family.

Yeah, they're kind of strange after seeing Jazz in the actual series, but I really like the bottom one. ^_^ Heh, I got Jazz on the Danny Phantom personality test, she's great. ^_^ You have ghost investigators hunters in your family?! I am now insanely jealous. ^_^ Too bad there aren't ghosts like in DP

I love Jazz. She was annoying at first, but I think her personality was just "overdone" in the beginning. She's a very interesting character. Even though in the beginning they made it appear that she had friends, you never see them. She seems to be a loner...like me...
If you were to ask me what I think the saddest part is in all of the show, I would tell you that it was in The Ultimate Enemy when Jazz is talking to a group of girls about her future for college. The girls walk away without saying anything. Jazz then weakly asks if she'll see them after school. Judging by the way it's portrayed in the episode, I think that part is actually meant to be funny, but one would have to be heartless to find that funny. It was just so sad...am I weird for thinking that's the saddest part of the whole series? It just touched me the most...
I think she's the second prettiest female character in the show. (Second to Paulina, not Sam, in case you're wondering. Yes, I do think Paulina is the prettiest female character.)
And, um, there's my thing on Jazz. She's a really cool character.

The way she acted was odd, like she was so eager to be with them and in on their "secret." It made me wonder if she considers Danny, Sam, and Tucker her closest friends. It would be an interesting insight into her character, for sure.

I'm kind of thinking about writing a Jazz-centric fic about that, actually. Her becoming friends with Sam and Tucker, as well as Danny. It's quite vague in my mind right now, though, I should really work on that. ^_^

XD A adore Jazz, though i don't get a chance to focus on her too much... ^^ I agree that Secret Weapons kinda killed her character a bit, but Girl's Night Out helped bring it back, though I was ready to slap Sam across the head in that one for constantly giving off those 'holier than thou' vibes to Jazz when she was trying to help...

~Ugh, so much hate on most of Secret Weapons. >.<
But I like Girl's Night Out, if only for the ton of subtext. xd And it was the episode that gave me the sole moment I can justify my favourite pairing on! So I can't resent Sam's meanness in it too much. ^^
I really like her, though. I just love that there's a brother and sister in a TV show that largely don't argue like idiots and get along well. It's so adorable.
