It has been 20 years since the members of Avalanche took on the corporate empire known as Shin-Ra, not to mention the creature known as Jenova and her lackey, the once loyal SOLDIER, Sephiroth. Since then, the various members of Avalanche have taken their seperate paths, some starting families while others simply trying to find a place for themselves in a world that no longer needs them.
Seventeen years after the defeat of Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz, things started to change. The area known as North Crater become active yet, allowing several new Weapons to break free of their icy prison to wreak havoc upon the world. Even the Lifestream began to act a bit peculiar, causing the existing Mako Reactors to explode without warning. Shin-ra, which had expanded significantly after the demise of the "last" surviving Sephiroth clones, expanding into Wutai, Mideel and Gogonga.
It has been a year since those chatostrophic events. The Weapons still roam the planet, as there has been no one strong enough to defeat them. Some people even claim to see the once great Sephiroth wandering the world again, with two lackeys following behind him. Whether these are fact or fiction has yet to be seen. But one this is for certain... the world is in trouble once more, and a new band of heros is needed to save the day.

1: FOLLOW THE RULES OF THE GUILD AND OF GAIA!
2: I AM GOD. If you do something to piss me off, you will have to face my wrath. Trust me... its' not a pretty sight.
3: This, according to the rules of the guild, is a MODERATE level RP. Got it? While I don't mind short posts, NO ONE LINERS.
4a: On the subject of RP relationships, this is a Het/Yaoi/Yuri acceptable thread. I don't have a problem with any of them. If you have a problem with it, get the hell out of this thread, I don't want to hear any of your complaining.
4b: Now, for non-romance relationships. If you want to be the brother/sister/long lost cousin thrice removed of another character, ASK THEM. While it can be quite fun to follow the clues and slowly find out two characters are related, some people blow it hardcore, and take all the fun out of it. So yeah... just don't be n00bish about it. Besides, most people like to know if you are going to be doing something to their character.
5: I am going to create an OOC/Profile thread. If you want to apply, you will post your profiles in there with the words "The Maiden who Travels the Planet" written in white at the top of your profile. Once you have submitted one profile with it, you don't need to type that in again.
6a: While I am on the subject of relationships, let me address fights. I like fights. However, what I DO NOT LIKE AT ALL is when a person God Mods(AKA creating a character that CAN NEVER be defeated, hit, or miss). This is the macho version of a bloody Mary Sue, and I will have NONE of it. If you create a godly character, and start autohitting, not take hits, or occasionally lose a battle, I will kill you myself. And trust me, it will be a humiliating death.
6b: Also in this vein, if another character has something and you are going to pilfer it from them, SAY THAT YOU ARE GOING TO TRY TO STEAL IT! I hate it when someone says "Oh, they had this thing, now I have it because I plifered it when they were doing something else." It's a form of autohitting, and you will be punished. Give the people a chance to bloody respond!
6c: The only other thing that really pisses me off is when someone kills another character WITHOUT THEIR PERMISSION. If you are going to kill another player character, get their damn permission. The Mods WILL be checking up on this to make sure.
7: The next thing I need to address is OOC comments. I am going to be making an OOC thread for this RP, where you can post plots, ideas, improvements, etc. However, if you are going to make an OOC comment in the thread, use brackets, parentheses, something to show that it is seperate and meant for an out of character comment.
8: You are only allowed to have 2 Player Characters MAX. However, you can have a few NPC characters, just expect other people to use them as well, so don't get too attatched to them.
9: Once your character has been accepted, you are required to post on ATLEAST two days per week. I'm not asking for a whole hell of a lot here. It's posting two days a week. I don't even care if it is one damn post per those two days. The reason for this is to keep the RP going. I don't want it to die out. If you don't post for two weeks, and don't let me know... first you will be used as an NPC and damn the consequences. You will be sent a warning for that. After another two weeks, your character will be either petrified/ poisoned/ comatose something. During that time, you will be sent one more warning. If you don't respond, your character will DIE.
10: Try to include everyone in the RP. I know what it is like to be a ghost, or to have your character, who started out with a purpose, end up being another background person for some person who's character is going to be the next bloody messiah. It bloody sucks. Don't bloody do it!
11: If I don't see that you put atleast 10 minutes work into a profile sent to me, I am not even going to respond. You are supposed to be showing me that you are literate. By sending me a crappy profile, you are showing me that you are not suitable for this RP, and I am sick and tired of trying to coach people into making proper profiles.
12: Ok, from reading the rules, it looks like I am a horrible person and I am just looking for an excuse to kill off your characters. In truth, you will be given two warnings for any offence(sans the n00b/chat speak). If you don't clean up your act after the first two warnings, then your character will die.

It's all pretty much self explanitory. Though, I am going to go into Limit Breaks. You will get TWO limit break per limit break level, excluding 4th Level. AKA you will have SEVEN limit breaks. That is IT. Also, for a character to get to his limit break, said character has to take 10 hits. Got it? TEN HITS, then you can limit! No Less.

She has red-brown hair, that falls to about her shoulders. Her eyes are blue, however she is nearsighted, so she has to wear glasses. Her normal attire consists of a black zip up hoodie sweatshirt, with a white wifebeater tanktop underneath, a pair of dirty blue jeans, a pair of brown biker boots and a tan page boy hat. Parents: N/A Biography: Mika was born in Midgar but has lived most of her life in Kalm. She lost her parents at a young age, when Meteor destroyed Midgar. The only reason she survived is because she wasn't in Midgar at that point in time. Her parents had gone out on a date, and had left the two year old with her Aunt Sophie. When it was confirmed that her parents were dead, her aunt, who had only just turned 19, gave Mika to the local orphanage. Mika never got adopted, taking the last name Morimoto after a boy she met in the orphanage. She has been living on her own since then. Weaponry: Mika weilds a rapier, since while she was at the orphanage, she was taught fencing during PE. Speaking of Cannon Characters and their children, there will be a limit! I don't want everyone to bloody be the child of Cloud or Tifa or a Sephiroth Clone. Just no. So, I am going to say what has happened since the end of FFVII: Advent Children.
Cloud Strife: Cloud never really got over the fact that he was no longer needed, that he was no longer required. He has finally accepted that he wasn't responsible for the death of Aerith, so he has tried to go on with his life. He tried to settle down by marrying Tifa Lockheart and staying in Midgar. After becoming a father to three children, things started to get a bit too... quiet for his tastes, though that quickly changed once the new Weapons appeared. He apologized to his wife and children, and left to hunt down the creatures.
Cloud Strife's current location: Unknown
Tifa Lockheart: When the final battle was over, Tifa was ecstatic. Her happiest years were the years right after, marrying Cloud and bearing his three children. During those years, she continued her work with the orphans, keeping up the orphanage and working at the Bar. Not surprisingly, her bar has become a draw for anyone that wants to come to Midgar.
Tifa Strife nee Lockheart's current location: Midgar
Barrett Wallace: Barrett stayed in Midgar with Cloud and Tifa. He and Marlene lived just down the street from them. Since he moved there with his daughter, his luck has been nothing but up. It has taken him a while, but he has married and has another child, a son. Meanwhile, Marlene has grown up, and has married Denzel as well. She is currently pregnant with their first child Barrett is slowly getting used to the idea of being a grandfather, and is currently in the process of finding things for the upcoming child.
Barrett Wallace's current location: Midgar
Cid Highwind: The grizzled old airship captain has been the only unchanging person throughout these trying times. The only real difference is that Cid is no longer a single man. He married Shera shortly after the Geostima incident. They currenly have two children.
Cid Highwind's current location: Rocket Town
Vincent Valentine: After the final battle, Vincent has done little more than to fade into the background. Not much is known about what he has done since then. All that is truely known is that he is still living, as there has been contact with him though over the phone. As to whether he has fathered any children is uncertain, though there have been four children of different mothers that seem to look an awful lot like him and a bit, oddly enough, like Lucrecia.
Vincent Valentine's current location: Unknown
Yuffie Kisaragi: Yuffie returned to Wutai, and took her father's place. She has gotten even better at her materia theiving ways, keeping a large stock of them hidden in her quarters, especially what happened during the Geostigma incident. She hasn't married, but she has borne a single child, who she is raising how she was raised. Her life had been rather happy. The only real sadness in her life happened a few years ago, when she was defending Wutai from the invasion of Shin-Ra. She fought as hard as she could, but sadly she was injured quite badly during the attack. Her arm was severed at the shoulder, and her leg was almost lost as well. Yuffie has had to re-learn all that she knew to accemodate her new handicaps. She isn't quite as good as she was, but she is getting better.
Yuffie Kisaragi's current location: Wutai
Red XIII(AKA Nanaki): Being that Nanaki is the only known surviving member of his race, sadly, he has been unable to find himself a proper mate. He is still living in Cosmo Canyon, rather peacefully as he has taken up the mantle of bard, telling the tale of AVALANCHE to those who would care to give him an ear. Whilst he hasn't found another like him, Nanaki has met a woman who can look past his animalistic exterior. Oddly enough, the creature has produced two heirs, with the same animalistic appearance as he possesses. However, there has been several expirements by Hojo using some of his DNA that had been gathered 25 years ago. Those expirements have produced three successful heirs, all unbeknownst to Nanaki.
Red XIII's current location: Cosmo Canyon
Aerith Gainsborough: Due to her current state of unlife, Aerith hasn't really been doing all that much in the past 25 years. What she has been doing, however, has been rather crucial. Aerith has yet to be absorbed by the Lifestream, and has been keeping an eye on things, remedying minor unbalances within it. However, with the Lifestream currently massively unbalanced, her current whereabouts are unknown, or even if she is currently still seperate from the Lifestream she has guarded. While alive, Aerith bore no children. Despite this, during her stay with Hojo in his laboratory, he extracted a considerable amount of reproductive material from her. This material has been used to bear many children, blending and mixing DNA from various sources to in two words, Play God. Of the successful creations, only two are known to have survived past the age of ten. Though, there is rumor of a third child who survived...
Aerith Gainsborough's current location: Lifestream, exact whereabouts unknown
Cait Sith(Reeve Tuesti): Cait Sith, or Reeve as he is more formally known, has hung up the cat and moogle routine, and has devoted himself to bringing about a more peaceful Shin-Ra. He is currently the head of the World Restoration Organization. He is still a tech whiz, as always, and when not in company meetings, he is either busy in his laboratory or spending time with Tseng of the Turks. Reeve is married, to a female SOLDIER he met years ago whilst he was pulling her out of some rubble. They have two children.
Reeve Tuesti's current location: Midgar
Rufus Shinra: After the Geostigma incident, Rufus has actually softened a bit. He's not quite the manipulative b*****d he once was. While he still is in complete control of Shin-ra, he is actually working to preserve the world. When he is not in meetings with his shareholders, he is busy working with Reeve Tuesti, and helping him with his mission. Oddly enough, he has married and currently has two children who he hopes will succeed him one day in the family business.
Rufus Shinra's current location: Midgar
Tseng: After recovering from the wounds he sustained at the hands of Kadaj, Yazoo and Loz, Tseng started to loosen up a bit. He married Elena shortly afterwards, and soon his new wife was pregant with their first child. After the birth, Elena began to hemmorage, causing the doctor to tie her tubes so that she would be unable to become pregnant again. Tseng almost lost his new wife, and all hopes of another child. Elena, however, had another plan up her sleeve. She signed Tseng up for a donor program, one that used some of his genetic makeup to create a child. Elena carried the two children to term. Thankfully, this time the bleeding wasn't nearly as badly. Hojo took the male child, hiding him away from Elena and Tseng, and gave them their daughter. Tseng wasn't completely sure who the mother was... until the child started to age, looking exactally like a darker version of her mother. Aerith Gainsborough.
Tseng's current location: Midgar
Elena: The happiest thing in Elena's life was her marriage to Tseng and the subsequent births of her children. She loves both of her children, though she does favor her first a little bit. In either case, she has since trained her children in the ways of the Turks, teaching them all she knows.

Reno: Reno, the firey headed Turk, has cooled a bit since his wild days, though he is still quite the prankster. He has since settled down, and actually has a family. He married a girl he met in Gogonga, and has fathered only one child. After moving them to the base with him, he has been living a rather good life, his child often spending time with their "cousins," Tseng and Rude's children.
Reno's current location: Midgar
Rude: Shockingly enough, Rude, the quiet b*****d, has gotten himself married. He found a girl who didn't think he was peculiar for being so stotic. Since then, they have had a a set of triplets, and have been living rather quietly and happily.

Sephiroth: What has truely happened to Sephiroth is unknown. At last known instance, he was supposed to be lying dead at the bottom of North Crater. However, people have reported sighting him wandering around the planet, so it is really unknown if this is the real man, or if it is another one of his many clones. Either way, there have been documents stating that there have been a few continued tests on Sephiroth's DNA, some of which have been clones. At present, the talley of actual children using Sephiroth's genetic material has only been three, as all of them seem to have the same problem with violence...
Sephiroth's current location: Unknown
Loz: After attempting to kill Cloud with Yazoo, and instead dying himself, he is supposed to have returned to the Lifestream. However, since there has been no outbreaks of Geostigma since the incident, it is clear that he has no returned as thought. It has been said that when Sephiroth is seen, there are two men with him... both with silvery hued hair.
Loz's current location: Unknown
Yazoo: As with Loz, he too was supposed to have returned to the Lifestream. Since it is clear that he has not, it is unclear as to where he is. Perhaps he is one of the two following the supposed Sephiroth...
Yazoo's current location: Unknown
Kadaj: Unlike Yazoo and Loz, Kadaj DID return to the Lifestream. However, he didn't absorb into it like so many others. He didn't want to lose himself floating along with it. He has been trying to make ammends for what he had done, and there is speculation as to whether he is still in the Lifestream, or if he has found a way to escape it to properly apologize.
Kadaj's current location: Unknown
Hojo: This scheming old man is still working his unnatural science. Before his demise at the hand of Cloud Strife, Hojo had backed up his mind into a computer program on the World Network. He had been downloaded by a man named Weiß, who ultimately commited suicide. However, the conniving man had more than one backup. He is currently residing in the body of a 50 year old man named Thomas Prince, who is the current head of Shin-ra's Science Department.

Parents: Cloud Strife and Tifa Lockhart Biography: Ever since she was very small, Angel has been bloodthirsty and eager for battle. She grew up hearing stories of her parents exploits, and has grown into a young woman, obsessed with revenge. Her mother has tried to teach her of when and where to use her skills, but she rarely listens. She can be a bit of a bully, and usually disregards all advice her parents give her. She has a huge grudge on Shinra, and has been known to sabotage and kill Shinra if she can. She has left the family's house in Midgar, soon after her father abandoned them for action, and she's decided to fight the catastrophes on her own, without her parents help. She raided that families host of Materia before she left Weaponry:Mithral Katana and a silver, long barrelled pistol Materia: Restore, Gravity, Ice, Slash-All, Deathblow, Shiva (All still at first level) Limit Breaks: Level 1 - Angel Kiss: When Angel goes into her limit break, she blows a kiss to her opponent that turns into a spray of black ice. This ice takes away from the vitality of her opponent and bestows it upon her. Angel's Fury: Wings of light appear on her back, she flys up and rains chunks of ice upon her enemies, not doing alot of damage to one enemy, but a small amount to several, up to six, if they are all close enough. Other: Sometimes, if Angel is angry, or fightened, wings appear on her back. They aren't physical though, but rather wings of light that can move her out of, or into, harm's way. Takara Gainsborough Shinra Gaian Name: Kaivi Silverwing Character Name: Takara Gainsborough Shinra Sex: Female Age: 17 Birthday: June 14, 1987 Blood Type: A Appearance: Takara is approximately 5'6, making her shorter than those she considers family. She has her father's hair color, dark ebony that falls just a little bit below her waist. Due to her ancestry, her eyes are the color of the Lifestream, a bright green hue. She is rather slender, and toned looking, as she has been sparring with the Turks since she was old enough to understand the concept. Her normal attire, when she is at home, is that of the Turks, even though she is not a true member. Otherwise, she is partial to a pair of dark blue pants that she "borrowed" from the SOLDIER werehouse, a white A shirt tanktop, and a pair of black boots. When she is cold, however, she will don one of her "borrowed" SOLDIER sweaters, with the sleeves thrashed. To finish off her favorite lounging outfit, she wears a black leather page hat. Though, be warned, she has a tendency to wear rather peculiar socks underneath those boots... such as rainbow colored toe socks with little smiley faces on each of the toes. Parents: Aerith and Tseng Biography: Takara is one of the last expirements that was produced by Shinra, hence why she is named for the company. The President wanted to create another Cetra to be used as breeding stock, for lack of a nicer term. When Aerith was captured by Hojo, he had extracted some of her reproductive cells, in case of her escape. Tseng offered to supply some of his genetic material for the child, and Elena offered to be used as a surrogate mother. Since Takara would be only Half Cetra, some Jenova cells were added into the concoction, to assure the child would be able to survive. Takara was the result of that expirement. Tseng gave her the name Takara, as the meaning was treasure, which he considered her. She was raised as a normal child, even though she knew of her parentage. As it was Tseng that took care of her, she often was around the other Turk members, and thought of them as family. She is considered an honerary member of the Turks, as she is not old enough to be a full member. Though, if Tseng had his way, she would not be a member at all. He does not want her to be caught up in all the legality/illegality surrounding Shinra and the Turks, not to mention her "purpose" as a breeder to create more Ancients. So, he sent her away with a backpack with enough potions to cure what could ail her, a nightstick and sword, a purse full of gil and a motorbike to get her as far away from Midgar as she can get. Hidden inside her bag is a small communicator, hidden inside a small stuffed moogle, a joke gift from her "Uncle" Reeve, and so she can still speak with her father and the rest of her family. Weaponry: Since she has trained with the Turks, she is proficent with a nightstick and hand to hand combat. However, her prefered weapon is that of a single curved blade. Materia: Ice, Fire, Bolt, and Bio, all first level(she snagged them from her father) Limit Breaks: Level 1 - Butterfly: Takara rushes the enemy, slashing the enemy with an X shape, which she finishes off by stabbing the center of, leaving a very abstract looking Butterfly on the enemy's chest. Green, Black and Blue: After rushing the enemy once more, Takara quite literally, starts running around the enemy. She will slash at the enemy three times before zipping out of harm's reach. The attack is so named because of the blur that seems to surround her as she is running. No actual form is visible, only the green hue of her eyes, the black of her hair, and the blue of her uniform. Mostly because he has been helping Professor Prince with his expirements ever since he was old enough. He has moderately long ebony black hair which he keeps spiked backwards, except for two strands in front of his face. His eyes are the color of the Lifestream, like that of his twin sister's. His normal attire consists of a SOLDIER uniform, with a long scarf that covers the lower part of his face. He has often been told he looks like an old SOLDIER, but he doesn't care to listen to such rumors. Parents: Aerith X Tseng Biography: Born to Elena and Tseng, Takori was taken from the pair when he was only moments old. Hojo wanted to conduct a bit of an expirement on him, to make him even stronger than previously expected. He too was meant for breeding stock, however that has been shunted to the back, since Thomas Prince has better plans for him. He has been trained as a SOLDIER, and hidden under Shin-ra's radar. Or rather, under Tseng and Elena's radar. He knows of his twin sister, and knows that she knows nothing of him. With his sister being sent away from Midgar, he has been dispatched to keep an eye on her, and protect her from harm. Weaponry: Takori is proficient with dual swords, though not in the usual sense. He uses a pair of curved blades, medium weight and rather fast. Materia: Poison, Lightning, Fire and Cure, all first level Limit Breaks:Level 1 - Double Strike - Takori slices the air with both blades, sending waves of energy in the shape of an X towards the enemy.
