Alrighty.
This is 100% Original.
I hold the right to punish you if you use any of my ideas in your story. XD
Let's hope that doesn't happen, okay?
I'm only looking for constructive critisism. Gods, no flaming. Though I hardly hope there won't be any.
It may also be long, and Gaia dosen't do Paragraphs, God knows why. rolleyes

Dr. Eric Smith, one of two of the only Alientology experts in our universe snapped on his white hygenic gloves and examined the dead Alien, a Reve that was placed with a white sheet on it on the metal sterilization table. He stroked his un-shaven face and squinted at the blue spot inbetween the Reve's shoulder blades. What was it used for? He asked himself over and over again. Actually, almost every day when he woke up, he thought of this question. Every day when he went to sleep it still followed him. It was important, he knew for sure, because the Reve looked, and acted almost identical to a human being, except for they lack human dialect and the blue spot inbetween their shoulders.
Reba Beacon, who was the daughter of the founder of one of the 3 human planets, Beacon, and was also an assistant to Dr.Smith in finding out more of the unknown Aliens. She was very interested in space life and liked to follow the old easy way of living instead of using modern day electronics for almost everything, like the more modern humans confided in. She enjoyed relying on herself more than computers, and so did Dr. Smith which was why they made such a great team. They had been working with eachother for 7-going on 8 years and for most of the time, spent flying around in spacecrafts searching for more knowledge on the mystery Aliens.

You could call them Bounty Hunters for Aliens. Although, I don't suggest calling them that, for they do not like to be titled.
As for me, I see? I am not going to tell you my name, for you will know in time. I am an outcast, just observing human life at a normal rate. More importantly, I am observing Dr.Smith and Reba. I can't tell you any more about Aliens as they can, for you see, I do not know anymore than they do. I only know what they know, what they learn, and what they want to find out. I know their feelings, their fears, and what they yearn for. I can tell you that, if you ask me. But how will you ask, when you do not know my name?
Exactly. I do not wish to answer questions. Not at this moment. For now, I need to rest.
Now, if you excuse me, they're speaking to eachother and I wish to know what they are saying.

"Dr.Smith, I know we've been working on this for 7 and a half years, but I've got a bad feeling about this one."
He cocked his head in question.
"Yes, a bad feeling." She tilted the dead Reve and looked at the blue spot. "Why would this one end up dead on a street, if the only time we can get a hand on one is if we request to travel to Mars and- well, you know, steal one?"
"I know, Reba," he answered, "it is getting odd. I suppose you're right. But what do we have to work on? Just find and follow a random person that doesn't speak and strip them to find a blue spot inbetween their shoulders?"
"No, but I-"
"But what?" He interrupted. "What can we do! We can't do anything unless we found out how these creatures evolved to look like us! I mean if-" He stared bluntly at the alien and then tilted his head to look at Reba."Just forget about it. We have to leave for Zectron soon. Put the body back into the cooler." He turned his heels to Reba and headed towards the door.
Reba said nothing as she folded the white blanket over top of the body and rolled it to the cooler. Why had he been so objective?
She sighed and ran up to him in the hallway of the Lab.
"Remind me why we're going to Zectron? Haven't the engineers already searched for Aliens, and found no-one or no sign of them?"
He stole a glance and kept walking for the elevator.
"Yes." He simply answered and pressed the round button for the ground floor.
Reba lurched, took hold of his arm and turned him around.
"Then why-"
"Your vibrant red hair would look much greater pulled away from your eyes, you know." He said pulling it back. As soon as he released her hair as she stood speechless, he walked into the elevator.
"You know," she screeched violently," why won't you get it in your head, this appearance on Earth is different! It's different, Smith!"
Dr.Smith just stared as the elevator lurched downward and the door closed shut.

Even I do not know why Dr.Smith did this. Even when he had been working on it for 7 years and gotten no where, he didn't really have a reason to dissagree with Reba. Except for they hadn't gotten anywhere with the project.
Perhaps he was scared that this one had been so close. Or perhaps it was that he, himself is afraid of these odd specimens so much, he forces himself to learn more about them. I suppose there is no real answer, but we can only assume that whatever is irritating Dr.Smith so much, is not good. Not good at all...

Reba threw some clothes into her suitcase so fiercly the suitcase almost flung off of her bed. She was so irritible towards Dr.Smith for not realizing that this appearence had been different! Different!
She clawed her head, exasperated, and thought she may as well forget about it, and focus on the trip to Zectron. She needed to be searching once again for signs of alien life on Zectron before the engineers start building, and failing to focus on her work could result in gigantic problems if she oversaw something.

Zectron, was just 1 hour away, Earth time in the Mavis 3000, which was oval in design and the 4th fastest spaceship in the solar system not used for Wars. Which happened not very often towards other humans, now that there was 3 seperate planets.
Reba and Dr.Smith walked into the Mavis 3000 on the upramp and sat in seats reluctantly beside eachother. The seats were of bright red and placed in rows of 4 on each side of the ship with a passage to walk through in the middle of two seats. The whole ship was constructed of steel with several sheets of aluminum on the outside to made it look decent, but in older versions, the Mavis 3000 does not have steel inbetween each sheet of aluminum and looks quite battered. As result of meteor showers, no doubt. But none-the-less an excellent ship.
Dr.Smith mumbled to himself about hating the color red as he sat down, and Reba shot him a cold stare.
"It's not like we're going to be here an awful long time," Reba stated, clicking her seat belt in across her waist.
"Well, as long as we're complaning Reba..." Dr.Smith sighed while looking at the man ahead him with a raised eyebrow. "Do I know you..?"
The man hid his face in his elbow shyly and raised his shoulders in questioning.
Reba started whispering violently to Dr.Smith but he simply ignored her attempts to make him listen.

When the ship took off, and Reba had to stop nagging him as the turbulance make her sick. Dr.Smith kept staring ahead thinking about the Reves. He had not been able to really excel learning more about these things. If he could call them things. For all he knew, they could be calling them, things. The humans, he meant. Not the aliens. If Reba was right-- that the appearence on Earth had, infact been different. Were they in much trouble?
He stroked his chin a bit. Reba must've noticed, as she stopped his train of thinking when she spoke.
"What're you thinking about, Smith?" She asked.
He replied simply 'nothing', and took a glance at the upcoming planet, which glowed a brilliant blue. Zectron was made up of mostly H2o. It had polar ice caps, as Earth did, but the ice and snow extended much more down towards the middle of the planet.

The Mavis' announced from the onboard computer that they were arriving at the planet and to buckle their seatbelts if they weren't already. The ship struggled a few times going into the atmosphere of Zectron before landing in a patch of tall brown grass. The air from landing the ship had made the grass flatten, so they had no trouble placing the ramp at an even spot and walking out of the Mavis.

Zectron had numerous pine trees and small bushes. Much like Northern British Columbia, in Canada. But without the mountains. It was flat and full of marshes. Little foreign flys buzzed and landed on the water reeds surrounding the pools of muddy water and a breeze slithered through, making Riba clutch her arms and shiver. The sky had a morbid secret, it seemed, and the clouds hung droopily as if rejected. The sun must've been at high noon, but you couldn't tell.
It was like all that existed here was gone, and it had a fatal conclusion to Zectron.
"Something bad happened here," thought Dr.Smith. He looked at the dirt and found a small blue jewel embedded in. He pulled it out, with a small suctioned pop from the mud and wiped it on his shirt.
"What's that?" Eyed Reba.
Dr.Smith said nothing, but shrugged his shoulders and carefully placed it in his pocket. The blue jewel was round a looked a lot like Earth, with it's white and green rock obviously were there for the use of the land and the clouds. But Dr.Smith didn't notice it much, and focused on what he had to do. Which was what he came her for. To search for any life on this planet, before the Human Planet Occupancy Service staked the land and claimed it as theirs.

They searched around for hours, examining caves and peering over torn houses that looked as if they were burned down. They had found the same jewels around the torn and muddy land, and had pocketed them after observing them for a bit.
All the jewels looked like planets. Mars, with it's red rock, Saturn, with it's jagged ring around the whole of the planet. All the jewels had a resemblance to our universes planets, and we didn't know where they came from! Yes, it's quite a misunderstanding pinning it on the Reves... But Dr.Smith had a hunch. A hunch that wouldn't leave him, pining at his brain and leaving him thinking for hours on end. It wasn't until they had found Beacon that they started to get worried.
They had found Beacon in a cave full of wooden tools. It had been smashed up on the rocks and had been left there.
"Smith..? What do you suppose this means?" Asked Reba, eyeing the shards of precious stone left. She, too had been thinking of the Reves, but they would've been more civilized than this, if one of them ended up on a street of Beacon. How could they land on Beacon with wooden ships?
"I think... Reba, that the Human Planet Occupancy Service shouldn't build here. We should search this planet more, for more signs of banter." Dr.Smith took out a tiny translucent plastic bag and took as many shards of the sparkling jewel and put them in the bag. He lifted it up to eyesight and then looked at Reba. "I don't think this planet was broken for no reason." He got up and took an axe looking weapon. Flipping it over to find blue dried up mess on the blade of the axe. He looked shocked. Pure, and utterly shocked at what he had just found. Could this be..?
Reba shot up at the look on his face. Smith hadn't looked like this since they had found the first Reve, and that was 7 years ago! But before she could walk over to him, he flew out of the cave and ran to the Mavis.
"Smith?!" She cried, nearly missing a log, "where are you going!"
"We're going back to Beacon, Reba! I have to sample this axe!" He flung himself into his chair, not even caring that the silent man he had questioned on the flight over here was eying the axe suspiciously. The man quickly looked away when Reba entered the Mavis, puffing because she had been trying to keep up to Dr.Smith.
Reba opened her mouth to speak to Smith, when he yelled for the pilot to take off. She decided to keep her mouth shut, because Smith wouldn't be able to talk out of excitement.
The Mavis made a choppy lurch before she had been able to lift off the ground. It struggled to keep in the air, but when it finally got up the the atmosphere, instead of popping out of the atmosphere, it started to go back down. Not slowly, may I add. I mean, it WENT down. Fast.
The pilot yelled into her microphone that the Mavis hadn't been able to make it out of the atmosphere, and she was literally prodding her finger into the buttons so it could stay up.
"EVERYONE, GET INTO YOUR EMERGENCY POSITIONS!" She yelled into the mic, when she couldn't help the ship any longer.
Everyone had death in their minds as they hunched up in the fetal position and closed their eyes. Waiting for impact.
Then it happened...

It was brutal. All I can say is I'm glad I hadn't been there. They had fallen at crutial speed back towards Zectron, and the speed was so swift, the Mavis was peeling apart. Aluminum was bending around their heads, and the noises they witnessed were something so loud and unlike anything you ever heard before in your life.
Petrified, they hadn't had time to scream, it all happened to fast that before they had hit the planet, all they had time to do was close their eyes. They then impacted on trees that creaked and broke as they hurdled through the brush. Slowing down before they hit the ground and hanging in a tree, nobody moved. The branches were through the most peculiar places. Like a tiny pine tree in the middle of the ship, descending through the floor.
They were hung sideways, on their right side breathing heavily at what they had just witnessed. Not everyone was alive though. The pilot, who tried to save their lives as much as she could was hanging dangerously through her crimson seat, and the silent man who Dr.Smith had indeed been very suspicious of was suspended by his mangled leg out of a window.
The few that were alive was luckily Dr.Smith and Reba, plus a Marine soldier who had been there to defend the ship when everyone was out searching the planet. It looked like he had a broken arm, and his machine gun was hanging from the shoulder strap on a handhold towards the end of the ship. He had utter happiness on his face, probably due to the fact this was the most exciting this that ever happened to him. Really, guarding the Space Transit is not at all a terrific job.
He was still sitting in his seat behind Dr.Smith and Reba. Reba on the other hand hadn't been sitting in her seat. She was sprawled in the middle of the aisle with blatent sunlight pouring on her face through the tears in the body of the plane.

I watch through a holographic image in my shadowed living room, and was making myself a truly delicious sandwich at the time when I heard screams coming from that very place. Discouraged from making the rest of my sardine and peanutbutter sandwhich, I wandered to the hologram and watched as the Mavis tumbled down towards Zectron. I sighed, I could do nothing, so I made a very important phone call. One that is so discreet, even I cannot tell you who I called. Sorry. Anyways, Dr.Smith and Reba, plus the Marine soldier had infact made it onto solid ground. They were in the middle of the forest and it was fairly dark now. The planet had made it's rotations and the sun had set making the forest seem eery and dangerous. God knows what was in there, they had only been searching for a day!

Reba made a remark, on how fast it seemed to be getting darker, which also concludes that it would get lighter, quicker, too. Due to Zectron was a much smaller planet, thus the light from the sun covered more ground. So settling down underneath the ships carnage, they were touring the area of trees and foreign plants, while taking whatever they thought was safe and using it, either to eat, or to make a mock-bed.
"How long do you think we'll be here, Dr.Smith?" Asked Reba, taking a pile of leaves and attempting to fashion a pillow, without much progress. When she didn't hear any reply, she abandoned her project and asked again, slightly louder than before, "Dr.Smith?" No answer. "ERIC!"
"Reba, I'm up here," came a calm distant voice from above.
Reba huffed and put her hands on her hips, "about time, Smith. How long do you think we'll be here?"
Dr.Smith poked his head out of a leafy tree and spoke; "well, maybe only a few hours, or so. Once they realize that the Mavis hasn't reached Beacon, they'd send out a more reliable one, I suppose."

Alrighty, chapter 2.
Just so you know, when I end the chapters, it'll be at an important spot, so all chapters will vary in size.
The first chapter was just what I was at so far. It wasn't seperated into chapters, thus this is the real 2nd chapter. xP

It was dead night. The Transit Soldier was standing gaurd, with his machine gun strapped over his shoulder. His eyes darted back and forth continuously, being trained by the most memoriable Space Solders, he was quite fortunate and was trained well.
Reba and Dr.Smith had long since been asleep in their make-shift beds of leaves and brush. Reba slept soundlessly, making small incoherant noises every once in a while. She was a heavy sleeper, her subconcious took a break as soon as she shut her eyes. Dr.Smith on the other hand was rolling around endlessly, sending the leaves he was sleeping on in a whirlwind until his back was on the cold ground, which wasn't making his sleep any better.
I don't know what he was sleeping about, but I do know that it was probably something to do with the Reves. His mind is constantly clicking with current issues, trying to figure them out. Trying, being a key word. Dr.Smith was never a prodigy in his class. He's quite average. Although he's average, his mind is so fasicnated by the Reves, it fuels his hunger for finding out more, and explaining this mystery he has yet to solve. It's been 7 years, yes, but this doesn't stop him. Once his mind is locked onto a target, he doesn't know what's real or fake. He just keeps hanging on.
Once, when he was a toddler, he was convinced that his little space-man toy was real. He beleived it for years. Reba had finally knocked, literally, some sense into him. Since then, they have been friends. Which grew into partners, never crossing the friend line. It just wasn't like that between them. Sure, they were always stuck to eachother like glue, but working on the aliens, and only that, has affected their relationship. More for Reba than Dr.Smith. Being a female, Reba relies more on Emotions, and Dr.Smith was a rock.
I know that Reba is in distraught for their relationship, but she hangs in there. Still Best Friends, still Partners, and that's enough for her, even through the arguements. They are completly loyal to eachother, and nothing could change that.
Excuse me, my phone is ringing.
Ah, yes, here we go.
There was a loud groaning creak, followed by a collapsing branch with made the totalled Mavis lurch violently downward. The leaves in the trees showered the three like a heavy rain.
Dr.Smith woke up immediatly, and shook Reba awake.
"What?" She mumbled, rubbing sleep from her eye, and propping herself up on an elbow.
"Reba, the plane just moved."
Reba looked towards the direction of the plane, which lurched again. She scrambled up, screaming, not caring about the leaves in her hair, as she would usually have.
"ERIC, THAT MAN JUST FELL OUT OF THE PLANE."
Indeed he had. It was the silent man that had broken his leg in the crash. Dr.Smith carelessly walked over to the man who was in a tumbled heap in the dirt. He proceeded to look him over. Reba meekly made her way over to Dr.Smith and stood opposite the Silent man. After a couple minutes, Dr.Smith stood up, looked Reba straight into her eyes and said; "It's one of them."
"What?" Asked Reba.
Dr.Smith smiled.
"One..of..them," Reba contemplated, "no! Are you positive?"
"Reba, look at this," Dr.Smith said. He turned the man over, and fingered the tear at the back of his shirt, pulling it open.
Reba gasped and squeeled, despite the situation. It was there. A blue dot, signaling the Alien. he had been on the plane! Why? They didn't know, but he was there, and they had their equipment. They would have to work fast. It's already been a day, and soon the man would start the 'Process of the Dead' as Reba dubbed it. In other words, he'd start to decay.
"Let's get this guy over there, eh?" The Transit solder claimed. He got the 'ok' from Reba and Dr.Smith to place him over where a nearly flat rock was. He set him onto the rock carefully and stepped back to let Reba and Dr.Smith through to the Alien.
The air was dense, and the sun was already peeking through the over-brush, giving the two Alientologists light to work. Reba grabbed a scalpel and handed it to Dr.Smith saying;
"Let's do this."

Indeed, indeed.
The good news is that I've finally started on some sequels, part 18 of postsecrets, and part 2 of E.R, and a new one-shot! It's a good thing I like writing. I can update them on ff.net on Thurs! >w<
