If you would like to post long histories about your character you can post them here.

This is mine!

Life isn't always fair, but you still have to play by the rules. My name wasn't always Russian, and I wasn't always The Earl of Bronze. This is a recent discovery. When I was three my father the earl of Talgithir, gave me away to a peasant family, he didn't want me to die in a war, or to get murdered by assassins. He decided to give me away and when I was old enough teach me the rules of royalty, but the kingdom got attacked and my entire family got slaughtered. My foster family left from the town early so we didn’t get affected. We moved into the lands of the Sathuli. When I was around 11 our town got raided by a group of nadren. On that morning I woke up and heard a scream, they were smart and decided to come at night. I didn’t know how to fight but my father had a sword hidden somewhere in our house and I knew where. I got the sword and it felt like it belonged in my hand. My father woke up and grabbed the sword out of my hand running out the door without saying a word. I watched helplessly as my father and twenty-three villagers got carried away, many were almost dead. The Nadren love torturing and I knew that’s what they were going to do. Two days later I set out for them, with out any experience or anything. I went into the woods and there I met Linkor, the swordmaster. He was a tall man, with broad shoulders. He crept up on me and put his blade against my throat asking me what I was doing. I explained my situation and he told me he would help me, he knew where they were. He led me too them and just before I set out into the Nadren camp; he asked, “What are you going to do?” I replied, “that I will know once I get there” he laughed and told me to wait until night. We waited, talking about life, and joking with each other. Once nightfall came he told me to wait where we were. I waited and surly he came back with five of our villagers, I asked him where the rest where and he just shook his head.

That was when I began to learn the silent language. Linkor took me under his wing after what happened; he said he saw something in me that he knew reminded him of someone. I trained with him for 13 years. He taught me so well that I could beat him, this is when we parted. I learned three years later he had died, from what I did not know.

I wandered the Sathuli lands for 6 years after my master’s death. The Nadren started to hear rumors about me, and decided that it was time for my death. They sent out 150 warriors after me, I first figured it out when I heard five Nadren where looking for me in a tavern. Oh and by the way my name back then was Gilandor, the Prince of Death. Everyone feared me. But back to the Nadren, I seeked those Nadren out and killed three, took two hostage. I led them back right into their base and with me threatening to kill them they still didn’t care, they raced at me and in four minutes seven were dead. They others now came with care and I killed a path through them and ran for the forest, once there I killed three at a time, four at a time. Until they retreated. From then on I was know was Gilandor, the King of dead.

Many years later in praise of the sathuli a rider came from drenia lands. This is when I found out about my father, and who I really was. I was clear descendant to Regnak, The Earl of Bronze, and also my real name. He told me that the Dros is waiting for me and now here I am.

WOOT, here's mine.

Name: Saijon, Paladin of the White
Trained by: Huegal, Paladin King
Origin: Sathuli
Family line: Son, of Huegal
Weapon class: Long sword
Weapon Name: Tyrui, blessed Long Sword of Light Realm
History: There are nine paladins, one for each colour. Saijon was Paladin White. His father, Huegal, gave him this title. Saijon was kind-hearted and peaceful. But absolutely deadly with a sword. He only resorted to violence if it where a last resort. As a child, Saijon was taught the way of the sword, shield and book. He didn't like the book every much anyway. As he grew up, Saijon became more adept with his training. He knew he would be a great warrior, knight or what ever he might have become. Once the great Dros battle broke out between Evros and Huegal. The two neibouring dros where at war. Men after men fell. Saijon's friends died before his eyes, on the field of Irvion.

Huegal became victorious and he knew why. Saijon disguised him self as a slave to the king Evros and poisoned his afternoon meal. Once his task was complete, Elnor, The Sentinel, blew his cover. He had a choice, to fight him or to run away like a coward. Saijon and Elnor both unsheathed their swords and began to fight. Saijon parried most of Elnor’s attacks. A sentinel’s job was to protect and kill. Killing Saijon would give him the utmost reward in the country. Saijon went into a baresark state, he never stopped attacking Elnor, and with one swing he knocked the sword out of his hand, shattering it into pieces. Elnor fell to the ground with a thud. He was beaten to an inch of his life. He pleaded, begged and tried to bribe Saijon to let him live. It wasn’t in Saijon’s nature to kill let alone fight. He let Elnor live to see another day, but with a reminder.

Saijon cut the mark of the fallen into his shoulder, showing that he lost and begged to not be killed. Saijon jumped out of the window and landed horribly when he hit the ground. He fell on all fours and then did a fast roll to get up. He looked around to see if anyone had followed him or if the noticed him jump out of a window. He snuck his way to the stables where he had kept his horse. He glided against the wall till he found his horse in the stable exactly where he left it. He slowly got on his horse trying to make no noise, his armour clashed against the horse making a loud crash. The stable master looked at Saijon and called for the guards. Saijon gunned it out of the stables, breaking the door down as soon as he left the stables. The guards chased him, but then gave up on it and told the gatekeeper to close the gate. Saijon knew this was going to happen, but couldn’t do anything about it. He had to press on, the archers on the outline of the dros began to fire there arrows at Saijon and his horse, and the guards tried to block them diverting their route every time. He had to get to the gate before it closed, he charged threw the warrior’s of the dros and made it threw the gate. Saijon’s horse collapsed right out side of the dros, he had no choice but to leave it and run. He looked into the horses eyes and then bend down to kiss its head. With that the horse fell limp and Saijon ran straight into the forest. He had to camp out; it was a three-day walk to Dros, His home. With that thought he smiled and collapsed behind a tree.

He woke up in a strange place. He was in a bed, but it wasn’t his. His sword and armour where missing, the arrows in his back where gone. He got up and wondered around the house and found the person who took care of him. It was a woman, beautiful in fact. She told him about his injuries and how she brought him here. He was impressed, completely floored. Saijon told her who he was and she told Saijon her name. Her name was Jeyn. Saijon took her back to his dros and introduced her to his father and all of his friends. He knew he was in love. But he didn’t know how she felt. Months and months past on, Saijon and Jeyn became very close. His father promoted Saijon to the Paladin of White, Saijon now joined the Paladin Legion of Sathuli. He later asked Jeyn to marry him. She said yes. They got married on a beautiful day in the altar. After that Saijon was sent on a mission to find the Earl of Bronze.

Battlehammer

PostPosted: Wed Sep 29, 2004 5:51 pm

Name:Battlehammer of Silver (Tue name in History)
Trainer:Aronious the Ancient
Family Line:Solace Royal Family
Weapon Style:Sacred Sword Arts of Aronious
Weapon Names:Ethal and Aronious (Ethereal weapons)
Immediate Family:Father:Arani
Mother:Kirnia

His name is etched in the Solace history books as the Avatar of Solace; The Knight of Silver. He wan't brought up to be this though...

Aramil Solacen was his name before he was exiled by a disgruntled servent who had hired an assasasin. He wandered the solace border for much of his teens before he met the elf Aronious the Ancient.

The elf had taught him that his pointed ears were not just a blatant show of heritage but more as an outstanding fact of his elfin face. Aramil never thought of that. From his fourteenth birthday he learned the Sacred Sword style of fighting. He frequented taverns in Drenai but never allowed anyone his name. Aronious had drilled that into his head on the first day.

On his twenty first birthday he came back to the land that exiled him and defeated the servant and his assasasin. After regaining the throne he selected his younger brother, Cornith to be the king of Solace and joined the Knights of Silver. Unkown to the land of Drenai was the fighting skill possesed by the Knights.

The Knights frequently held raids against Nardi and refused to retreat until the last man was left; sometimes not even then. Valor was the way of the Knights and Aramil showed them his prowess with the blade. Though he abhored killing any other man he refused to bring harm to those around him often going into a rage that few had ever survived.

His family named him the Avatar when he single handedly saved the king from certain death from a Narden assasasin. 'Battlehammer' was the cry in the streets. He often wondered what that meant. After hearing of Drenai's plight Corinth sent Aramil to the earl of Bronze ahead of 3000 Kinghts of Silver.

From the beginning eh? Well i think my memory is that good..

I was born in Ark city, two years after my sister. For the first year of my life, I was happy, as was my entire family. Our town was not stricken with famine, disease or fear. Everything was going great. Until the Great War.

Lead by the dark lord, Praxis, the armies of men and orcs descended upon Ark City, as well as the City of the Saints and Ryushima (Dragon City). Anyone man of age was sent to fight, and my father was one of them. He left, and became a general. but in the second year of the war, he was killed by Praxis. With his death, the men began to lose hope and fell back. Father Alexander, later the man who raised me as his own, stood and said, "What men are you? Would you have retreated if General Kyros was here! NO! Do not falter! For he is here in spirit! Push forward and hold the lines!" And so they did, and they defeated to enemies. My sister and I were seperated however, because Praxis was not defeated. The people of Ark City feared he wold come back and kill us. She was sent to Ryushima, and I was taken to the City of the Saints, were I was raised by Father Alexander.

For the next fears years, until I was fifteen, I learned the monks ways, as well as smithing, swordplay, and defense. I was an excellent student, and many people thought well of me. Then one night, Alexander gave me my fathers diary, and told me the story. I left and went in search of his killer. Not for revenge, but as a last wish of my father's. I met friends and enemies along the way, and in the end, I found and killed Praxis. His successer now haunts the shadows, in search of me and my friends. That is my mission now. To defeat Li Merquise. Once that task is complete, I will be content, and the world will be rightened in my eyes.

Royal Guard Aidian Kyros
