Robotech: The Shadow Chronicles now has a distributor! Funimation has acquired the distribution license for RT:SC!
This means a release date is only a little farther away... my comrades, the end of our wait for new Robotech may be soon in coming at last!UPDATE: The release has been delayed to help the theatrical run. A new date is expected to be annonuced... "soon".Update: New release date announced! February 6th, 2007!
Also, a new Robotech Artbook featuring Shadow Chronicles is scheduled for an unconfirmed date in April.

Edited? What do you mean? Funimation hasn't edited DVD releases without providing an uncut version since the early days of DBZ, and the last edited Funi DVDs I've seen were Yu Yu Hakusho- and the edited run of that didn't even finish.
What makes you think it'll be edited?

There was never any evidence of it being edited.
Anyway, current information tends to indicate a February release date... but it's not even something confirmed or official like the November one was. So essentially we have no idea when it'll be out, even though it's done and has been screened at serveral film festivals.
