I'm usually good with money...until I find something I really really want then I can't resist. If it's too expensive, though, (which is about $25-$30 + for me) then I just pout and stick the item on a birthday/Christmas list...unless I can get my mom to buy it for me. >->;;
On Gaia, I try my best not to spend any gold and I refuse to go under the 100k mark. I dunno why though. I guess I just like having a hefty amount laying around in case, for whatever reason, I want to spend it on something. o-O

I'm really fiscally responsible, espically with other people's money. As for Gaia I'm doing a good job of not spending a single penny.
Edit: Well I just went on a shopping spree on Gaia so forget what I said there.

Whee. I'm usually good on Gaia. Except when I'm not. Right now I have 2k, because I spent gold yesterday on lots of bait, and just bought blue longjohns because preview was broken. They didn't work with my outfit. Gotta stick 'em in the vend. :/
My gold roller-coasters; my *goal* is to have more gold than my postcount, but 90% of the time, that is not the case. sweatdrop I save,save,save, then go and buy new stuffs. whee

I tend to be as cheap and efficient as possible. It's how I work, in games.
Gaia, I do not consider as a true game, thus spend freely, etc.

I do well in real life. I'm good at saving and keeping money, even when I really want something.
But on Gaia, it's another story. I just run outta patience and end up buying something I reallyreallyreallyreally want that WASN'T the thing I reallyreallyreallyreally wanted that was what I was saving up for.

My paychecks get direct deposited into my savings account, and I've disabled my online banking so it's a pain in the a** to transfer it to checking. By making it hard to spend my money, I'm good with it.
Then again, I really hate spending money, so I'd probably be fine if I had it in my checking. I do a lot of that "impulse buying" though, when I've got cash.

By making it hard to spend my money, I'm good with it. Then again, I really hate spending money, so I'd probably be fine if I had it in my checking. I do a lot of that "impulse buying" though, when I've got cash. you're smart, I should do that. When I have a steady income, I'll set all my bills up to autopay out of my savings account, and give myself a $20 a week spending amount in my checkings, and then pay off and hide my credit card, so I'll only use it for online purchases which happen like once every few months like when a superhot gaia item comes out or something. and then i'll DISABLE MY ONLINE BANKING SO I'LL STICK TO THAT SPENDING PLAN 8D

Want less = Work less. I dont want very much, I dont work very much, I dont spend very much.
My Money either goes to Gas or savings.
On Gaia, I save enough money to buy a few letters each month. Keep at least 5k in a mule. And spend the rest on whatever tickles my fancy. xP

In real life I don't find myself wanting to spend my money on all that much xd .
On gaia, I tend to dislike gold sitting around, I could put it to work, so I usually invest it in a donation item or something xd . I don't keep many store items or uncommons/rares around either sweatdrop .

IRL, I'm middling good at keeping track of finances. Not the best, but not in debt, either. I buy more food than anything else, really, and it's not as though all of it's necessary for nutrition. xp
On Gaia... I go through cycles. There's times where I'll sit tight for a month and not spend one damn gold, and then I'll go on 100K shopping sprees. Right now, though, that's impossible, as I've only got 63K. sweatdrop My last shopping spree took out a huge chunk.
