As you may or may not know, it's my life's dream to become a chef. In honor of Smores Day, I made a smores pie & took some good pictures of it. I plan on opening a shop where people can commission desserts from me & buy things like shirts that advertise my shop. I'd like to make a Smores Day shirt with my pictures & sell it in my shop, so I've got two questions; (1.) Is that okay with our esteemed guild leader & members? (2.) Would anyone buy a shirt (for a reasonable price, of course)?

heart Piphy I'd be happy to make you some smores pie. In fact, I've just added my site where I'll be taking dessert orders. I completely understand if no Gaians order any food from me since most don't really know me, but one day you guys may be able to come to my shop. Well, my shop is actually my dorm for now. sweatdrop One day, all the world will know the name Heps McKenzie! blaugh
I will, however, share with you guys the secrets of making smores pie, since it's very easy & tasty!
What You Need: 2 cups flour (plus extra for surface) 2/3 cup butter or lard 1/3 cup ice water Marshmallows, chocolate, & gram crackers to your liking Pie plate Oven Rolling pin A loooot of space
What You Do: Cut butter or lard into flour until it looks very crumbly. Add ice water & mix until dough forms. Gently kneed dough on a well-floured surface about five times & work into cylinder shape. Roll out from center using rolling pin until nice & thin. Gently place dough in pie plate, taking care to fill in the bottom. Pull off excess dough, leaving a little over the edge of the plate. (There should be quite a bit of dough left over that you can use for more pie. It keeps well in the freezer.) Bake dough in oven at 350 degrees until it's a golden brown shell. Then, fill with marshmallows, chocolate, & gram crackers & place it back in oven until it's a sticky delicious wonderful mess. Eat & enjoy. 3nodding

For those who can't afford a Smores Day shirt, I just added a Smores Day button to the shop. There a link to my shop on my site. *Points at the pretty website button*

KittyGurl_Peacekeeper i myself have been cooking for a long time (tho i tend to saty in main meal stuff) and to me, that sounds like one big mess around the kitchen It is rather messy & flour is a real pain to clean up. In my opinion, though, the pie is worth it. 3nodding Besides, part of the fun of cooking is getting a little messy.

The kitchen starts clean, of course. To me, I'm not cooking unless I get to work with my hands.
