My sister got me "Dizzy Up the Girl," the Goo Goo Dolls album from like 1998, and an AC adapter for my plugs for ireland. Now I just need a wattage converter. Haha. Her bf burned me a copy of the movie "Elizabethtown".

My grandmother in Wisconsin got me a Best Buy gift card that bought me a 512 MB memory card for my digital camera, so I can take lots of Ireland pictures and just store them all, since my laptop isn't coming along. And some pearl earrings and a necklace. My other grandmother bought me pearls as well. biggrin I <3 pearls.

My parents got me a $40 giftcard to Borders, and a Janet Evanovich book that is next in the series I'm reading. The giftcard, so far, bought me "The Three Musketeers," "The Man in the Iron Mask," and "The Count of Monte Cristo," all by Alexandre Dumas, and "Stranger than Fiction" by Chuck Palahniuk. I have like $12 left to spend though.

Oh, and my friend Megan got me some cool New Age books. One's on different methods of divination, and the other is about dreams. biggrin I stayed at her house that evening and we had wild and raucous fun. [In other words, we went to dinner and then chatted all night about random stuff...lol]

Yeah I have a knack with tarot, but there's stuff in the book about reading runes, and palms, and dream interpretation, even interpreting ITCHES. I Ching is in there too so that's cool.

I am indeed going to Ireland, from 12 Sept to 18 Dec biggrin

Yay for birthdays! Glad you had a good day and got lots o' stuffs. I still read tarot cards, and used to read palms too. Divination is interesting and can be fun too.

Yay for tarot reading! Did you memorise the cards or do you use a book? I still use my little book redface

Actually, Uma, barry and I had talked about maybe arranging a little visit/rompabout/whatever while I was over there, but I'm not sure if we're still going to try for that or not. lol

Awww thankies Dave!! Hello Mopsy <333 domokun

I more or less have the general meanings memorized, but it took me about a year or so to retain all of that, lol. And plus, there are some decks it doesn't transfer over to, as I use the Rider-Waite deck, and not all decks are laid out the same way. There's nothing wrong with using the little book, hehe, in fact it's quite handy to have.
