The Silver Surfer Name: Norrin Radd Age: Undetermined Current Occupation: Interstellar Adventurer Place of Birth: Zenn-La, Deneb System, Milky Way Galaxy Marital Status: Single Usual Base Of Operations: Known Space Current Group Of Operations: The Defenders Height: 6' 4" Weight: Unrevealed Eyes: Silver (pupil-less) Hair: None First.Appearance: Fantastic Four #48 (1966) History: The Silver Surfer first appeared in the classic Fantastic Four #48, #49 and #50. As the original Herald of Galactus, the Silver Surfer searches across the galaxy to find planets with enough energy to fulfill Galactus's appetite. Soaring through the Milky way the Surfer happens across the planet Earth. Unknown to Galactus and the Surfer, the Watcher had traveled to Earth to warn the Fantastic Four of the Coming of Galactus. After signaling Galactus, the Surfer battles with the Fantastic Four. In battle, the Surfer is knocked off of the Baxter Building and lands in the apartment of Alicia Masters. Alicia convinces the Surfer that the planet Earth is worth saving. Fully recovered from his earlier battle, the Surfer challenges Galactus pleading for him to look for a different planet to devour. Galactus ignores the Silver Surfer's request and begins the process of destroying the planet Earth. Galactus is finally stopped by the Fantastic Four when the Human Torch breaks into Galactus's starship and steals the Ultimate Nullifier, a super powerful weapon. Mr. Fantastic threatens to destroy Galactus with the Ultimate Nullifer if he does not stop his attempt to consume the planet Earth. Defeated in battle, Galactus swears to never harm the Earth again. In fury over the Silver Surfer's betrayal, Galactus dooms the Silver Surfer to be confined to the planet Earth forever. A few years later and galactus takes away the confinment field and The Silver Surfer took his path among the stars in attempts to redeem himself. The Origin of the Silver Surfer was first told in The Silver Surfer #1. With the arrival of Galactus to the planet Zenn-La, no one could stand in his way from destroying everything and consuming the planets raw energy. In desperation, one citizen named Norrin Radd, pleaded with Galactus to spare his home world. Norrin offers to be the devoted servant and Herald of Galactus in exchange for Zenn-La's safety. As a Herald, the Silver Surfer would seek out planets for Galactus to destroy and consume for energy. Galactus realizes that this opportunity would allow him to be freed up to focus on other matters. Agreeing to spare Zenn-La, Galactus transforms Norrin Radd into the Silver Surfer. Strength: Vast Superhuman Strength. The Silver Surfer can augment the strength of his cosmic energy-powered body to a degree that rivals the Hulk's formidable rage-enhanced strength. Hence, he can endow himself with Class 100 strength, enabling him to lift (press) well over 100 tons. Speed: The fastest he has ever gone was 12 times the speed of light. He doesn't usually do this unless he was in a big hurry. He usually only moves at 3-4 times the speed of light when he is exploring. Durability/Endurance: I really don't know if he can be destroyed. there was an issue of silver surfer where someone had strapped an energy sucking device that was sucking the universe's energy into Silver Surfer. When it overloaded and exploded everyone thought Silver surfer was a goner along with the few galaxies he was presently around. Silver Surfer survived but was completely out of energy and could barely move. There is an issue of SS where, during the infinity crusade, Thanos goads SS to turn himself into a living bomb. The force of the explosion nearly kills him... it vaporizes the planet, as well... He ends up in a limbo-like place, where he meets his parents. Intellect: The Surfer is a fairly smart character. Being from a humanoid planet that was made up of nothing but scientists, The Silver Surfer usually knows his stuff when it comes to gadgets and how to work them. Fighting Skill: Average hand to hand fighting that is used along with his power cosmic. Techniques/Powers: The Silver Surfer possesses vast cosmic power granted him by Galactus as a part of the process of physically restructuring the Surfer's former organic body. He has the ability to channel ambient cosmic energy into his body at will, and expel it violently as concussive force or gently as a means to restructure molecules according to his mental design. He can generate beams of energy through his hands with sufficient destructive force to level a large city or generate such subtle amounts of energy to restructure the molecules of the natural dyes within a plant to change its color. The Surfer can rearrange the molecules of matter to create other configurations, but he cannot transmute elements. The forces binding together the molecules making up the silvery material that comprises the Silver Surfer's "skin" are so great that there are few known forces in the universe great enough to overcome them. The inner portions of his body have also been made highly resistant to injury. Thus the Surfer is invulnerable to most forms of physical harm. He can withstand great extremes of temperature caused by the build-up of friction within atmospheres or the vacuum of space or (within limits) the intense heat within the near vicinity of stars. He can survive without difficulties in the vacuum of outer space and hyperspace, and his body can withstand the stresses of travel at near-light speeds in this universe and of even greater speeds, in hyperspace. The Silver Surfer has certain cosmic energy enhanced perceptions which enable him through concentration to become aware of the patterns of energy which surround him. Accordingly, he can sense great concentrations or deployment of energy anywhere in the world. He has a special affinity for the life energies of living beings, and can use his cosmic powers to augment them to a certain degree. While he can use his power to revitalize life energies and heal the wounded, he cannot create life or restore life to the dead. The Silver Surfer does not need to eat or breathe since he absorbs life-maintaining cosmic energy direct through his skin. Although his body does not require sleep, his mind still does in order to give it an opportunity to dream. By exceeding 99% of the speed of light (186,000 miles per second), the Surfer can shift himself into hyperspace, a dimension in which velocity is not limited by the speed of light. The Surfer can also compress his own bodily matter so as to shift himself into a so-called microverse. He once used his powers to travel through time, but may be unable to engage in time travel under normal circumstances Gear: Transportation: In flying the Silver Surfer usually makes use of an object known on Earth as his "surfboard", due to it's resemblance of Earth objects of that name. The Surfer's "surfboard" is a construct of unknown materials created by the vast cosmic energies of his former master Galactus. The board is covered with the same silvery glaze that the Surfer's body is covered with, making it impervious to virtually all forms of physical damage. Few forces short of the cosmic power of Galactus could affect it at all. The surfboard is psionically linked in an unknown way with the Surfer's mind. Apparently only a being possessing the Surfer's cosmic powers can cause the surfboard to fly, and it is controlled mentally by him. The surfboard apparently taps ambient cosmic energy in much the same way that the Surfer himself does. Although the Surfer could conceivably utilize his cosmic power to fly without it, the surfboard enables him to fly without the expenditure of any of his own energy. The Silver Surfer can utilize the surfboard to attain 99% of the speed of light, but seldom exceeds Mach 10 (ten times the speed of sound) within the outer layers of a planet's atmosphere, and Mach 5 within the inner layers. (The speed of sound is about 770 miles per hour). As of lately it was recorded that The Silver Surfer at top speed moves at 12 times the speed of light.

Gabriel The Air-Walker Name: Gabriel Lan Age: Unknown Current Occupation: Currently is apart of Galactus's ship Place of Birth: Zander, unknown system, Milky Way Galaxy Place of Death: Interstellar space between Segar and Jan SEC system, Milky Way galaxy Marital Status: Single Usual Base of Operation: Galactus's ship Current group of Operations: None Hieght: was 6'2'' Weight: 210 lbs Eyes: Blue Hair: White First Appearance: Fantastic four #120 History:Garbiel the Air-Walker is the second Herald of Galactus. Gabriel was first seen in Fantastic Four #120 and #121. In this epic, Gabriel is sent to the planet Earth to seek out the Silver Surfer and return him to Galactus. In FF#121 the Silver Surfer refuses to go with Gabriel and a battle breaks out between the two Heralds. In the end Gabriel is destroyed and revealed to be a mechanical robot. The origin of Gabriel is later told in Thor #306. Gabriel was the Captain on a Xandarian explorer ship, assigned to probe the Andromeda Galaxy. Gabriel's achievements and philosophy had shaped the lives of those who served him and his crew was proud to serve him. One day they came upon a most peculiar ship. As they approached the vessel Captain Gabriel was stolen from his ship and teleported to the enormous ship. Later it was revealed that Gabriel had been taken by the planet-destroyer... Galactus. He had need of a Herald to select worlds to ravage for sustenance. Gabriel protested his capture, but the giant offered him no other choice. In that instant Captain Gabriel was no more. The power cosmic flowed through his being ... and he became .. The Air Walker! Worlds uncountable did he select for the gargantuan one to feast upon. And though Gabriel felt guilt over those who perished that Galactus might live, he came to know the tragedy of this cosmic being who was slave to his endless appetite. This touched Gabriel even more deeply. They spoke often and at length. Galactus seemed to crave his companionship...sense a kindred spirit who marvelled at the mysteries of creation as much as he. And then one day, as the Air-Walker returned to his master's ship after a scouting mission he was murdered by the attacking Ovoids-- a race which dared fight back against the invading Galactus. But in his wondrous way, Galactus saw a slim chance for the Air-Walker's survival. And so taking the slain Gabriel, he transferred the dwindling life-spark into a perfect mechanical replica. At least part of what Gabriel was, would live again. And this helped ease the Giant's pain at the loss of his beloved Herald. Strength: Superhuman Strength when alive, could lift (press) about 65 tons Speed: Gabriel did not move very fast because he had no desire too. He was recorded at 3 times the speed of light Durability/Endurance: Low, Could take punches from The Thing and blasts of fire ffrom Johnny but only for so long. Intellect: Extremely intelligent when it comes to travel and technology. Otherwise he had average talent Fighting skill: average hand to hand fighting for his race that is used along with his power cosmic. Powers: The original Air-Walker possessed the vast cosmic power that collectors granted to all of his Harold's upon their initiation. His body and restructured to be living battery of cosmic energy, the Air-Walker could utilize cosmic power for a variety of effects: heat, concussive force, magnetism, electricity, etc. Unlike most of the other heralds the Air-Walker utilized as cosmic energy without an accompanying visible manifestation (such as Firelords "cosmic flame"). The air war could also uses cosmic energy to rearrange molecules, although he never became adept at it as did the Silver surfer the cosmic energy augmented his strength, endurance, and durability. At maximum exertion, the Air-Walker could match strength of the Thing. He could use is cosmic power to peak capacity for several earth months without resting before fatigue or the need to dream began to impair his functions his skin was treated to be immune to virtually all the conventional rigors of space it took a force greater than the cosmic force to invest in and bite collectives to kill him. Air war could not need to eat or breed since he absorbed life maintaining cosmic energies through his cells. The Air-Walker could fly to space at hyper light velocities. While moving through planetary atmospheres, he would curtail his speed so as not to cause catastrophic side effects. The Air-Walker did not employ such conveyances as a Silver surfer surfboard or Firelords baton in order to travel; he apparently traveled and navigated by is on power. The Air-Walker robot replicated all the original powers to approximately levels it was endowed with automatic self repair circuitry in its chest cavity, capable of functioning as long as 0.35 of the total system was intact the robots power source was its fiery cloak, apparently some form of cosmic energy receptor.

Terrax The Tamer Name:Tyros Age: Unrevealed Occupations: Former Dictator, Former Herald of Galactus Current Occupations: None Place of birth: City of Lanlak, planet Birj Former aliases: Terrax the Tamer Marital Status: Single Usual base of Operation: Space Current Group of Operations: None First appearance: Fantastic Four #211 Height: 6'6" Weight: 2,750 lbs. Eyes: Grey Hair: None History: Tyros was originally the dictator of the small city-state Lanlak on the world of Brij (sometimes translated as Terran), a moon of the gas giant Marman in a solar system eighty thousand light years from Earth. Tyros ruled through the use of force, his limited power over earth and rock. This power, which apparently was a mutation unique to Tyros, enabled him to animate constructs of stone which would patrol his kingdom maintaining his firm control. Tyros loved power and conquest, and led a life of debauchery and violence. Somehow, he came to the attention of Galactus, the world devourer. Galactus had been seeking a new herald to guide him to fertile planets which he needed for sustenance. The space being surmised that the common fault in most of his former heralds was that their moral values prevented them from fulfilling their duties. For a new herald, Galactus sought an individual who would have no compunction in finding worlds for Galactus to render lifeless. When the Fantastic Four came to Galactus to ask him for aid in the battle against the Sphinx, Galactus agreed, but only with the condition that the Fantastic Four would journey to Brij and subdue Tyros for him. The Fantastic Four reluctantly did this, and in doing so, they freed the city of Lanlak from Tyros's rule. Brought before Galactus Tyros was exposed to Galactus's cosmic power, and was transformed into Terrax the Tamer. His minor control over stone was augmented to an incalculable degree. Now, he could affect all matter of rock and stone on nearly a planetary scale. His body was changed so that it would withstand the vacuum of space. Finally, Galactus gave Terrax a weapon called the "cosmic axe," capable of generating waves of cosmic force. As Galactus's new herald, Terrax found more worlds for his master than any of the previous heralds. Terrax likened the discovery of new planets to the feeling of conquest. On several occasions, Terrax annihilated large segments of the population himself using his cosmic powers. As Galactus had hoped, Terrax's lack of morality made him a successful herald. But whereas Galactus's other heralds had a sense of loyalty to their master, Terrax had none. Indeed, he served Galactus out of fear for his master's power, but even conquered that fear on several occasions to defy Galactus's wishes. Shortly after being transformed into Galactus's herald, Terrax fled from his master and overthrew the ruling body of a small unnamed planet. He enslaved the the entire population and set him self up as the planet's deity. Huge segments of that worlds people died erecting temples and cities to glorify Terrax. Terrax planned to use the survivors of his reign as the first wave of a universe-conquering army. But before Terrax could proceed any farther, Galactus summoned his herald. Fearful of his master's wrath, Terrax hid in a black hole. Utilizing the powers of the Earth mutant Dazzler, Galactus freed Terrax and made him obedient to his will again. But Terrax's rebellious nature could not be totally stifled, and after a while, Terrax again fled his master. This time he went to Earth. Utilizing his power, Terrax levitated the entire island of Manhattan into Earth orbit and used the lives of its millions of inhabitants to bargain with the Fantastic Four. To spare Manhattan, Terrax demanded that they destroy Galactus by attacking his ship. Galactus had by now realized that his herald had become a liability to him. Returning Manhattan to Earth, Galactus stripped Terrax of his cosmic power and the transformed alien was sent hurtling from the top of the world trade center down to the street below. Although seriously injured, Terrax's alien physique enabled him to survive the fall. Unknown to both the Fantastic Four and the Avengers, who were present at the site. Terrax's broken form was taken to a nearby hospital by an unidentified passer by. He remained there for several months in a semi-comatose state.Victor Von Doom, looking for a pawn to use in a plot against the Fantastic Four, discovered the fact of Terrax's survival. Terrax was kidnapped from the hospital and brought back to Latveria by a squad of robots dispatched by Doom. There, after six weeks of Doom's advanced treatments, Terrax recovered. But, having been stripped of cosmic power, Terrax had no memories of having been the herald of Galactus, and thus called himself Tyros once more. Doom had recently perfected a device that was capable of endowing an individual with limited cosmic power. Tyros readily agreed to be exposed to the device's energies, as he wished revenge against the Fantastic Four. Garbed in a special suit that would channel and regulate the cosmic energies in his body, Tyros set off for New York. Unknown to him, the power Doom gave him would consume Tyros's body within a matter of hours. Thus, Doom would not be faced with an adversary whose power was vaster than his own, once Tyros had served his purpose. Tyros defeated the Fantastic Four and , detesting the fact he was in the service of any master, he turned on Doom and immobilized the Latverian monarch in his armor. At Tyros's moment of seeming triumph, the Silver Surfer, first of Galactus's heralds, arrived to save the lives of his friends, the Fantastic Four. Tyros believed that his power level was equal to that of the Surfer's but Tyros was no match for someone who had received cosmic power from Galactus himself. Because of this, Tyros was forced to use his powers to the limit in order to combat the Surfer. This only served to hasten the deterioration of the cosmic power Doom had embued him with. As the two former heralds of Galactus engaged in battle, Tyros appeared to be totally consumed by the "power cosmic." Though many thought him dead, Terrax had merely been stripped of the Power Doom had given him. Terrax remained in hiding for many years afterwards to avoid punishment for his crimes. Intellect: average to low Fighting skill: Hand to hand is only slightly high because of his strength. Otherwise low skill Durability/Endurance: Terrax's body was coated with a flexible rock-like shell that was impervious to extremes of heat and cold, from 50 degrees above absolute zero to the interior of a small sun, pressure up to 100 Earth atmospheres, and concessive force up to a fall at terminal velocity from the limit of Earth's exosphere. His body had been sustained by cosmic energy, making it unnecessary for him to eat or breathe. Speed: Terrax, like all of Galactus's heralds was able to enter warp-space and negotiate through it in order to cover great spatial distances. Traversing through the normal universe, he was able to attain .75 the speed of light. Strength: Terrax's strength had been augmented by Galactus to unable him to lift (press) 75 tons without supplementing it in any way by additional cosmic energy. Powers: Terrax possessed vast cosmic power granted him by Galactus. Terrax could move planetary masses up to 100 miles in diameter. He could move asteroids of miles in diameter at speeds of up to thousands of miles per hour.He could control the direction of a swarm of meteors within a 100 miles of his person. With concentration, he could affect a small piece of matter 1000 miles away from him. The farther the distance, however the less mass he was able to affect. Standing on a planetary surface, he could affect tectonic plates sufficiently to cause earthquakes and create chasms in the surface thousands of feet deep or wide. Deploying his powers to the maximum extent, he could separate a landmass the size of Manhattan Island and levitate it miles off the Earth's surface. On worlds with lesser gravities, he could lift even greater masses. Terrax's mutant ability to psionically manipulate rock and earth was augmented by Galactus's transformation at least a hundredfold.

Firelord Name: Pyreus Kril Age: Unrevealed Current Ocupation: Wanderer of the stars Place of Birth: Xander, planet in Tranta system, Andromeda Galaxy Marital Status: Single Usual base of Operation: Space Current Group of Operations: None Hieght: 6 ft. 4 in. Weight: 220 lbs. Eyes: White Hair: Yellow First Appearance: Thor #225 History: Pyreus Kril was serving as first officer aboard the Xandarian explorer ship Way-Opener when his commander and friend, Gabriel Lan, was unexpectedly abducted by a teleportation beam. Vowing to rescue him, Kril assumed command of the Way-Opener and began to pursue the huge ship that transmitted the beam. Kril would later learn that the ship belonged to Galactus, the world-devourer, who was seeking a new herald (since his first herald, the Silver Surfer, betrayed him) and found a worthy candidate in Gabriel Lan. Using his cosmic power, Galactus transformed Lan into the Air-Walker. For years, Lan served Galactus faithfully, while his ex-crewman Kril followed Galactus's wake of destruction. When Galactus was attacked by a powerful race called the Ovoids, the Air-Walker was slain defending his master. Galactus transferred his herald's dwindling life force into that of a replica, but the replica was not enough like his loyal herald to please Galactus. Thus he dispatched the Air-Walker automaton to Earth to summon the Silver Surfer back to active duty. The Surfer refused, destroying the automaton in the process. Persuaded to leave Earth without the Surfer, Galactus returned to the stars heraldless, not even bothering to claim the remains of the Air-Walker replica. It was then that Pyreus Kril caught up with him. Boldly teleporting himself aboard Galactus's ship, Kril demanded the release of his former commander Galactus was impressed by the Xandarian spaceman's determination, and offered to tell Kril of his commander's fate if he agreed to become his new herald. Kril agreed and was transformed by the power of Galactus into Firelord. Though Galactus kept his side of the bargain, he suppressed the knowledge he had given Kril so that he might send him on a mission to Earth. Firelord was released from active service when the Earth god Thor offered Galactus the Asgardian construct called the Destroyer in exchange for Firelord's freedom. Unlike the Surfer, who was sentenced to remain on Earth for his treason, Firelord was free to leave. Yet Firelord chose to remain because of his subliminal memory that the Earth was the final resting place of the remains of his friend. Months later, when the Air-Walker automaton reactivated itself, he remembered the reason for his compulsion to remain. Taking custody of the automaton (which was wrecked once more in battle with Thor), Firelord bore him into space, where he buried the remains on an asteroid in their home star system. Free of his only tie to Earth, Firelord' has since returned to his native Xandar, only to find the world had, been destroyed by the space pirate Nebula. He has since joined forces with Nebula's great uncle Starfox to track her down. Strength: 70 tons Speed: 4-5 times the speed of light Durability/Endurance: Medium, Can take most non-physical attacks but low when it comes to hand to hand Intellect: very intelligent even though his honor gets in the way of his thinking alot Fighting Skill: Medium with staff, low hand to hand Powers: Firelord possesses the ability to manipulate cosmic energy in the form of stellar fire. His entire organic carbon-based body was transformed to accommodate the nuclear energies that course through him. These energies make him the humanoid equivalent of a miniature sun. Projected from any point on his body at mental command, Firelords energies encompass the entire electromagnetic spectrum possessed by a star: heat, light, gravity, radio waves, and charged particles. The maximum amount of energy he can produce at once is determined by his mass. When all the atoms of his body are in fusion, his energy level is equivalent to the outer layers of a small star. By the slightest manifestation of his stellar powers, he can burn through any Earthly substance (with the exception of Adamantium). He can project a stream of fire resembling a solar flare for distances measured in the hundreds of miles. Firelord can control the path of his cosmic fire to such an extent that he can project a sustained ring at a fixed distance around a person or object By utilizing his cosmic power uni-directionally. Firelord can fly at near-light speeds through interstellar space. (Flying at such speeds near planetary bodies, however, could cause devastating gravitational disturbances.) Firelord can even traverse hyperspace without danger to himself. Firelord uses the gravitational fields of stars to help him break his speed. Although Firelord still possesses a solid physical body, he is virtually impervious to most forms of physical harm. His body automatically incinerates any projectile before it reaches the surface of his "skin." He is immune to disease, aging, and muscle fatigue. He no longer needs to eat since his body takes its nourishment from the carbon-carbon cycle of solar fusion. He no longer needs to breathe air and hence can exist indefinitely in the hard vacuum of space.

Nova Name: Frankie Raye Age: Unrevealed Current Occupation: None Place of Birth: New york, New york Marital Status: Single Usual base Of Operation: FF4 tower of Galactus's ship Current base of Operation: None Hieght: 5'6'' Weight: 140 lbs Eyes: White (Pupil-less) Hair: None First Appearance:Fantastic Four Vol. 1 #164 Strength: 30 tons Speed: 1 times the speed of light Durability/Endurance:Medium, Can take most non-physical attacks and hand to hand Intellect: Average Human Fighting Skill: Average hand to hand History:Frankie Raye was the stepdaughter of Phineas T. Horton, inventor of the android Human Torch. Bitter at the announcement of a new Human Torch, Johnny Storm of the Fantastic Four, Horton brought Frankie with him as he dug into the spare parts and chemicals he had used to build the Human Torch decades earlier. Frankie was exposed to a canister of chemicals which set her on fire, but instead of being harmed she gained powers similar to the Human Torch's. Horton placed a post-hypnotic suggestion in her mind to keep her from using her powers to make her fear fire. By chance, Frankie met Johnny Storm and became his girlfriend. She finally discovered what Horton had done to her and regained her memories. Under Jonny's guidance, she learned how to control her powers and became an unofficial member of the FF. Although Frankie wanted to join the team on their adventures, she was often sidelined by Mr. Fantastic due to her lack of experience. When Galactus returned to Earth, desperate for sustenance, Frankie offered herself to him as a herald in order to save her world and for the chance to explore space. Galactus granted her a portion of the Power Cosmic and she departed Earth, never even looking back at Johnny. Now called Nova, Frankie took delight in finding new worlds for Galactus to feed on, caring little for the lives of aliens, until she met the Silver Surfer, a previous herald. The Surfer did his best to teach her to value all life, finally bringing Frankie to a primitive world and asking her if she would feed it to Galactus. She replied yes, only to learn that the Surfer had brought her back in time to Earth. Nova became reluctant to serve Galactus faithfully after this, and he grew tired of her. Galactus finally cast her out, taking the vicious executioner Morg as his new herald. Nova then joined with her fellow heralds – the Silver Surfer, Terrax, Firelord and Air-Walker – in opposing Morg. During the battle, Morg slew Nova with a blast of energy through her chest. The Silver Surfer laid her body to rest within a sun. Powers:Nova could manipulate cosmic energy in the form of stellar fire, surrounding herself in a flaming aura. Her portion of the power cosmic allowed her to manipulate all forms of energy, fly at warp speed, and survive in outer space.
