Yes Great Lakes the main station for bootcamp... there is no changing that... Great Lakes is the only station for bootcamp... Other then that it depends on you rate whether or not you get stationed... As for me... I am stuck here in Great Lakes because of my Rate being an ET... I have 2 months of Tech school... Then im here for another 4 months for "A" school... Then im being told ill be stationed in Yokuska, Japan for "C" school or 6 months, it ends up to be 13 months but im not sure what all the time intervals are... I believe TSC is open for AE, ET, FC, IC, MM, CS, and Star 21's Other then that i have no school... All I care about is once im out of "C" school i should be an E-4... Hell yeah i will have a chevron and a perched eagle and a speciality mark... boo-yah

Well first thing is boot camp at great lakes, then you have your A school, thouse you don't get to pick, before you get your orders they'll ask you to put down your top 3 base requests, there's no guarentee that you'll get one of them though. Honestly you could have a great locastion but the people you work with or that you come in contact with on and off base could just rub you the wrong way. Really anywhere could be the best place on the world to be stationed it just depends on the people and what you make of it. If you mean just location the navy has base listings on their website so you might want to check that out.

If you want to go over seas I would suggest Okinawa. One of my friends is a Navy Corpsman and that is where he is stationed. He alternates between loving it and hating it, but I suppose thats how all bases go, but he tends to love it more than he hates it, which speaks volumes in favor of the base.
