are they illegal or what my friend has one on his comp and I want to know if it would be invading piracy laws or I could get put it in jail for it! eek yeah I know I am paranoid I just dont want to get in trouble.

thats cool I only get ROMs of games I got halfway through or I am trying to recollect all the games(yep that is right the cartridges....) my dad sold,I have only got about 4/15 as soon as I beat them I am deleting them off though because I dont feel like getting in any trouble with the goverment..........

I have four:pokemon emerald(i wanted to see how they have done since yellow which is the last one i played),zelda a link to the past and the four swords,fire emblem:the sacred stones,zelda links awakening DX my question about ROMs are they legal?

Ratherin_Of_Arcadia I downloaded one today and my friend showed me some good sites if anyone is having trouble finding fire emblem:the sacred stones I got a link hereLinks to Roms and Emulation is not allowed on Gaia. And yes, it is illegal. You can't keep it in your hard drive more than 24hrs if you don't own the game.

Therefore, your dad bummed you out. But don't worry, pretty much everyone who uses emulation doesn't own the game, that's the reason why they've downloaded them. xd
