 The Emerald Forest is filled with beautiful plants. Its away from the main town. This is a great hangout spot for most of the villagers.
Also, at the edge of the forest, is where most D-rank missions are carried out. Along with training exercises.
But if you go deeper into the forest, you'll encounter untammed creatures. The creatures are powerful. They sometimes go out of control due to an act of nature, meaning it could be too hot, a thunder storm, ect. These are usually B-ranked, but sometimes C.
Not to mention, this is also a romantic place to be. When ever love is in the air, the wind blows it around, causing many sakura (aka cherry blossems) and roses to surround you and your loved one.
