This is a question I'v been wondering about since I first started watching OHHC ^_^; For all you Hitachiin fans out there, do you have a favorite out of the two of them?
Despite being almost completely similar, there are a few things that set them apart, and I'v always been curious as to whether was anyone out there who acknowledged that to the point that they could say whether one is better or not...
Despite liking them both alot, I think I'v always liked Kaoru better XD Mainly just because I'v always thought he had a prettier voice, though I suspect it also has something to do with the fact that he always plays the Uke during their little 'acts' XD (I know their supposedly fake and everthing, but I never said they where GOOD reasons did I?)

Personally I find Kaoru better as well, not that I don’t like Hikaru the same. There is just a little more love for Kaoru then him. Why do I like him better, well it’s on in the act. In the twins act*witch in my mind isn’t an act*, I just love how Kaoru submits to Hikaru when they are doing there routine.
In a way they both live to their ‘Little devil’ name, but I think Kaoru lives it a little more. If you all have seen episodes 15-16 then you would know. Kaoru playing his little game with Hikaru trying to get him better people skills. Faking sick was another genius move that are little devil did. He knew his older brother wouldn’t doubt his word.

XD then they all end up stalking te couple for half the day... I love those episodes...

Kaoru by FAR. I like Hikaru, I really do, but I just love Kaoru. He's much softer and sweeter, and that is what wins me over. Sweet and kind boys make me want to push their seme right on top of them hug them tight and never let go.
I don't know, Kaoru's voice also makes me squee with joy. It's so honey-smooth and adorable. I had to write a fic about it because I love it so much!
Episode 16, I think, really highlights the difference between Hikaru and Kaoru. I couldn't stop fawning over everything Kaoru said... it just touched my heart. He's just... so thoughtful of Hikaru! I wanted to cry ;~;

Kaoru again.
Don't get me wrong, I adore Hikaru as well, but Kaoru is just soo....you know!
It might add that me and my best friend give each other's OHSHC names and act out stuff, and I'm Kaoru, while shes Hikaru.

O_o Whoah. Kaoru's winning by a landslide here (whats funnier is that Tamaki appears to be on the same level as poor Hikaru...XD)
I suspected Kaoru might be the more popular one... But I certainly wasnt expecting this *feels a little bad for Hikaru*
Looks like I'm also not the only one who just adores Kaorus voice whee heart

I may have voted Tamaki because a threesome with the twins would be just hot, but I do love Kaoru so. x3 If only guys in real life could be that thoughtful... ;.;

I would have to pick Kaoru. His voice is indeed, awesome. Plus, because he's more thoughtful of others, and in one of my dreams, I was dating him. xp Oh and another thing. Because when Hikaru and Haruhi MAY get together, he'll be left alone, which makes me sad. So I'll support Kaoru!

Well...at first I was like Kaoru!! But then after episode 6 or so I couldn't decide between the two and just luffed the both of them. But now...after seeing episode 16, I've fallen head over heels in love with Hikaru. He's so possesive just like me. And think about it, you'd be pretty lucky to have a guy care that much about you. Don't get me wrong since I'm still crushing on Kaoru as much..Hikaru is just wow....when he acts alone that is. heart

Omg I'm happy, Hikaru fan all the way! I love the stubborn yet sweet underneath guys The idea that he only shows his kindness towards those he cares about, just makes me swoon during tender moments <333 And then at the same time, I love how on the outside he's the true definition of "Devil type." What with his being the brains behind most of the mischievous deeds that we love our twins so much for. He's kind and caring inside, yet reckless, wild and fun! Hikaru is just awesome, I love him so much whee heart
