ok im not too sure on the name but it was a animation simmiler to postman pat and it involed a big green machine that used to have a coneyer for a tonge and it use to make things and there were worker people helping out around it

It was 1985, but I still have a bad quality VHS with all the episodes recorded on, so they must have shown it later. It was called Bertha; and it had a catchy little theme tune.
