well he's not all evil.. he's jsut misunderstood.. like the time that chris wasnt afraid of him anymore.. he got really sad.
or when they left and he started to smoke from his stash.. see just misunderstood...

he is evil and misunderstood... possibly, he is evil because no1 understands him, so he takes it on chris by frightening him.
