Thats the basic story. Grow up, fall in love, bad stuff, save the girl, coexist with a giant scab. ^_^

Renton is like,my favorite shonen character.. I love how he and Eureka grew throughout the series. Especially,I like his personality..he's actually a realistic character.(for once) He's neither those super-strong characters or those pervy annoying main ones. He's funny and mature in many ways. heart

Renton is just like da kid with big dreams living down the street. That's what I like about him. He's real.

you gotta give him a lot of credit though. Eureka's kids really messed with him in the beginning. The only sad thing is, they don't let him surf the tapar waves as much as i'm sure he wanted to lol

I love how soft spoken and realistic renton is. Eureka and renton couldnt have been better matched with anyone else in the series. The more they grow as a couple the more it makes me wish I was in the series to see them be happy...I want that kind of happy! I want my own renton. smile

Renton is one of the best main characters i've ever seen. He ackes in ways like a regular teenage boy who has his fantasy of the world but when he is let into that world he finds that it's not as "happy and fun" as he thought it was. He also has the main problems of guys, getting the girl. He falls in love with eureka and is constanly trying to impres her; but at first it doesn't work. Holland could be seen as an over protective father to eureka who is not impresed by this boy(renton) who is trying to win her love.
