anemone is my fav. character. i love anime characters with pink hair and i love her personality though i like dominic more heart i think shes the most interesting character in the show besides eureka and renton.

I know. I do like her, although when she is on the drug she goes competly bonkers!
I'm glad how she ended up at the end of the series

never saw the end of the series nobody can tell me where 2 see it stare all i want 2 do is frekin see it o and anemonay is like a pink haired eccentric and nearly oppisite eureka

MEGA SPOILER!
[ Ok, at the end (like last 2-3 episodes) Anemone is not taking that red medicine that she usually does. See, she was a war orphan who had despair syndrome. Apparently, the military did surgery on these despair syndrome patients because a person who has the syndrome is connected to the scab coral. I'm not sure about this, but I think that the military was trying to recreate Eureka, one which was totally under their control. Anyways, Anemone was the the only one to actually be able to handle the dosage of the drug that she takes, which brings her out of her depressed state and makes her useful (the ablility to pilot theEND like Eureka/Renton pilots the Nirvash) Well, she is ordered to destroy by setting up some relay device to help route the power of this giant orbital cannon (i forget what its name is!) straight into the center of the scab coral command cluster. She goes into a fissure in the scab coral to do this, but apparently she doesnt take that medicine... so she seems really depressed. She fights the Nirvash and manages to get the relay in place. Dominic, who learned the past of Anemone, goes after her in a small shuttle. Well, the fissure closes and the shuttle explodes, but dominic barely gets out. Anemone sees dominic falling though the air and then she goes after him. she opens her cockpit and throws herself at him, holding onto him in midair. theEND suddenly goes thougha transformation, suddenly turning white like the nirvash and catches both of them. The orbital cannon is fired after that and theEND protects anemone and dominic using itself as a sheild. theEND was destroyed. Eureka and Renton barely escape the blast and the nirvash is heavily damaged. ]

Oh yeah, Anemone is definately one of my favorite anime characters. The first time I saw her in episode 10 I knew she would be something special. I'm really glad that things work out for her. Normally I wouln't like pink hair on a girl, but Anemone totally pulls it off. cool

Here's something I found watching future episodes. You have been warned: In episode 41 Eureka, Renton and the kids pass through the great wall. Sakuya and Norbu help to make this happen and Anemone chases them in the TypeTheEnd. As they enter the zone Anemone realizes she can't keep up with the TypeZero. She see's several random images. The first is Sakuya and Norbu holding hands (an image of love), the second is Eureka and Renton holding hands (again an image of love) the third is the pic above. It's only like two cells. the first I've shown. The second is darker and no details can be made out. From the angle (looking up) I beleive this is a memory of Anemone's parents. When she see's this it shocks her and she is pulled out of the zone, unable to follow any further.

I love Anemone, i stated my reasons in Beramodes thread and I can't be asked to do so again. Personally I think she has the most intriguing and original personality and is a refreshing face to see with so many cliched mangas and animes.

Renton__Thurston man Anemone's lfo died the was one of the coolest lfo i see in the show I thought it was great though. TheEND sacrificed itself to protect Anemone and Dominic. A killing machine with a heart ^_^

I'l' like her more as the series goes on in nobody tell me wats happenes to her or how the series ends i want to see it on Adult swim
