Well...this isn't exactly a "my favourite character thread", I thought we could pick one character, discuss him/her and pick another character and discuss him/her and so on. We've got a lot of stuff about admiring various characters, x-character is cool etc, but, to my knowledge anyway, no long discussions on any of them. Anyone's welcome to pick the next character, every couple of days or so...
Anyway, to begin with: Kakashi (randomly the first character Jakuri and I came up with)
Opinions on Kakashi?

LOL. Kakashi is cool though. I think the rivalry with Gai is so funny, since they're both such weirdos in their own way. But go reading your book and challenging someone at the same time cool
He sat on Sasuke and stuck him up to his neck in the ground and tied him to a tree and and xd THANKYOU! Sasuke needs that.
It'll be interesting if the anime ever gets up to the Obito/Rin/Kakashi thing.

Well, Kakashi is indeed cool (and is my favourit charactar together with Itachi-danna) he has this lazy and rather aloof attitude. But underneath it he's always trying to protect his team and friends. He's strong, smart, genius... AND HE HAS A SHARINGAN! When he showed that red eye the first time I really didn't have a choice but to love him.
His rivalry with Gai is funny 3nodding Though I wonder. If Kakashi and Gai would have a serious fight- no Janken- who would win?
I like the idea of him reading that porn book everywhere he goes, that's funny. And of course the whole mystery of his mask! I absolutely love it how he stays so uh... how would I say it... Calm when Naruto starts acting weird, or when he punches Naruto... Greeaaatt...
I have to agree to Spruce with the whole Put-Sasuke-in-the-ground-thing.

Somehow, I knew this character would be picked. xD
Okay, one thing bugs me about him and his rivalry with Gai. They play against each other in a lot of challenges, right? Well, it said on wikipedia.org that some of the challenges that were:
...100-meter dashes, sumo-wrestling, ramen-eating contests, and even Rock, Paper, Scissors...
Woah. o__O When I pictured Kakashi as a sumo-wrestler... I nearly died laughing. xD
Oh yeah, and the whole thing between Kakashi and Sasuke is probably because the way Kakashi views him. If I'm not mistaken, Sasuke is said to be the younger version of Kakashi... ....the much uglier version of Kakashi... >_>;;

Sakura! Yeah, let's talk about Sakura-chan! 3nodding
1. I hate Sakura!!! She's a over-loving, weak girl who tries to be a ninja. She likes to stare at Sasuke more then train and the only thing she has is... Brains... She also thinks to much about her appearance.
2. I kinda like Sakura after she got over the whole I-wanna-be-oh-se-sexy thing. When she cut her hair.
3. I love Sakura! She punched a crater into the ground! She's a medic!! And she punches Naruto for his pervertion. 3nodding She only gets better and better! Hell yeah!

She found someone she wished to protect (two people, actually - Sasuke AND Naruto), and it made her stronger when she thought she was the only one who could save them. Now I think she is starting to like Naruto much more because Sasuke is gone, and I have noticed that since the time gap ended, Sakura has only become stronger and stronger, most likely because of Naruto's influence. Naruto will stop at nothing to rescue and protect those he deems important, and Sakura is beginning to get that trait too.

Yeah, Sakura likes Naruto much more after the timeskip. But she probably won't ever 'like' Naruto the way she likes Sasuke. (Poor girl, still has to see that even Jirajia would be beter then Sasuke.)
Her character development is amazing! But I actually only realized that Sakura was better then they show her in the beginning was at the timeskip.
There hasn't been much response on this toptic.. *sobs*

Sakura has gotten much cooler since the time-skip, and I actually don't hate her now. Actually, I'm starting to like her as a character more and more. Her growth is quite amazing. 3nodding

Actually, Sakura's growth annoys me. Why? I'm not quite sure. Maybe because I can't really make fun of her anymore. I think she's starting to get over her Sasuke fetish, but not completely. Geez Sakura, Ino got over it, why can't you? She should settle for someone else.

Sakura`s character development bothers me too. .__. She still somewhat acts like her childish self. Buut that's why I like her. ;D Sakura has such amazing strength (Thank you Hokage-sama <3) I think that's what makes her cool to me..there's probably more reasons as to why I like her..>__>;;
Now to her Sasuke fetish. YES she needed to stop being OMGSTALKER. And she did. ;D She still cares for Sasuke mainly because her and him were on a team together. Team 7 probably understands Sasuke better than anyone. BACKTOSAKURA: Her love for Sasuke was only a crush and she got over it. She may still love him but Kishimoto has shown in the manga that she has grown and realizes that Sasuke may not like her back. She treats Naruto as an equal and has realized that he is just as good as Sasuke in strength and personality. Sakura knows about the fox and understood it completely. This shows that she does indeed care for Naruto too.

Of course, she still thinks about Sasuke sometimes. There are some times when I want to tell her "Long distance relationships won't work unless the other person actually likes you." I guess my long hatred for Sakura made it hard to face the fact that she got strong. Hopefully when she fights I'll get over it. If she's a good fighter. (But I won't find out till the next chapter comes out! ><)
