Background: Mara was raised around royalty, as her parents both worked in the palace in Bern. Her mother is healer to the residents of Bern's palace, and her father is a loyal knight. She inherited her staff skills from her mother and her father taught her to ride from an early age. Though she was raised by loving parents, Mara is very reserved as there were no other children around when she was growing up.

Bio: Marica was once a proud soldier in Begnion's league of pegasus knights until she quit to search for her brother, Makalov, to keep him out of trouble. She joined Greil's mercenaries, hoping that during her travels with Ike and the rest of the party she would stumble upon her vexing brother. The best thing about Marcia is that she's got a perky and upbeat attitude which never fades no matter who she's with.

Class: Wind Genasi -> Wind
Report: Nelaria speaks in strangely airy, wispy tones, retaining a lot of emotion in her voice alone. She is bright, optimistic, and has an overall sunny disposition. Her tousled, messy hair somehow manages to look graceful enough, adding to her belief in staying the way nature intended you to be. She doesn't much care about appearance (as is the case with most Genasi), and allows her robe to become frayed and tattered around the edges. Caring enough about appearance to at least look presentable in some form of company, she does bathe, wash her robe, and occasionally combs her hair. When speaking to Nelaria, many are unnerved by her eyes; completely white with no pupil or iris of any sort. She can see as well as anyone else, but it is her race that causes her bizarre appearance.. When Nelaria walks, she seems to float along, although her feet are firmly planted on the ground.
There is much intolerance of strange races like the Genasi, and as a result, they have retreated to the far corners of the world, staying in places that accept them. Genasi are highly valued as magical beings, and are much studied and respected by mages and the like. It has always been Nelaria's goal to see a united world free of racism and hate, and so she sets out from her home country, leaving her family to thier tacticial positions in the military there. Nelaria carries with her a lesson of acceptance, teaching others she meets the values of harmony between all races, religions, and ranks.



** ALEX: I told you day 3 so you could make it an animation, but you breached it by removing both your headsprite and battle animation. Therefore, I am not changing your date, and people must vote with also your profile (like with the marking scheme made for the last heat).

I just added the line to divide the portrait from the animation. Since she throws the lance, it looked like she was hitting herself in the head. >>;

The line was added in Gaia. It's just an image of a simple line is all.
As for the hair, it was bits and pieces from a lot of people. The bangs came from Rebecca and Ursula, the top of the head from Idoun, and the rest a mixture of Rei, Vanessa, and Nate. Basically, a lot of people, a lot of time to get it just like Marcia's. You won't find that hair premade anywhere.
Also, the animation isn't perfect. I literally made it last minute, like the night before the voting so I know there are problems with it. I'm not going to point them out until people are done voting. I might fix it later if I decide to use it anywhere.

For this heat, yes. We're slowly eliminating some and then I'm guessing they'll all come together eventually for one big vote for all the finalists.

Then Alex, why is it only your post that experienced problems? Honestly, I think you're now just making excuses. Glitches do not edit posts or anything users do, the problem would lie within the coding of Gaia on the servers, with the layout, etc. Never, ever, ever, EVER has a glitch deleted parts of a post. Nor will it.

Then don't complain about it if you don't want me to say that. If it said "Post ID Invalid", then you could have easily edited your post. Thing is, your images vanished after you asking me to change your date, which made it look like you were forcing me to.
