.) No God Modding/Power Playing. This is when someone enters the scene with ungodly powerful Pokemon and proceed to unleash an array of attacks that are either impossible to perform (aka, TWO Hyper Beams in a row, or hitting SIX Arcanines with a single Hydro Pump). This makes the role play very boring and frustrating, and if you MUST make an entrance with a one hit wonder, please contact a mod of that thread (professormedia or myself, ChibiGingi) and ask permission. We have say so.

.) Same rules that apply for guild apply here. No cursing, trolling, flaming, harassing, being stupid, or arguing with a mod or another player; no PMing flames either. That will get you banned from Gaia, as well as the Guild.

.) If you wish to use another person’s character or Pokemon in any shape or form (this means battle, coming in to help, anything you think would be important), please PM said player and ask for their permission. It’s really that simple.

.) Keep OOC comments to a minimum. To post something OOC, do it in this format.

(( random OOC comment goes here ))

.) No one-liners. Sorry, I cannot express how annoying this is. If you are confused with the development of the story, please see the Summary Thread or read the previous posts, or ask someone (via PM). At least try to stretch it out to three or four sentences, even if it’s just explaining that you’re standing in the corner and watching the tumbleweed roll by.

.) Keep real life affairs out of RP. If you are leaving for the day and you feel that they should know, just leave an OOC comment in your post saying so. This will probably be the ONLY time we will tolerate one-liners.

.) Please attempt to maintain a friendly, open environment for the enjoyment of all. Newcomers should be made to feel welcome here. A sense of community is encouraged. Remember, unless you’re a loner, no one likes to role play by themselves.

.) Perhaps the most important rule of all, is this one. Please make your role plays LITERATE and UNDERSTANDABLE TO ALL. It is no fun to try to decipher a role play because you can’t understand a word this person is typing, and will lead to other people ignoring said role player. Let us avoid this catastrophe by making legible and over all easy to read posts. This means no l337 or net speak in general.

.) Respect each other, respect the mods, and for the love of Pokemon, don’t do anything that you think would jeopardize your reputation, anyone else’s reputation, or the storyline. We will take any action deemed necessary to maintain a friendly playing environment, even if it means to ban you from the guild.
