((This is just a story I came up with a few months ago. It's a romance between Kurama/Shuuichi and my OC Amorè. There is spanish in the introduction but a translation is provided in parentheses.))

Introduction


It was midnight and the pitter patter from the rain tapping on the glass of a teenager's bedroom window was all that was heard. Then, shuffling was heard as a girl struggled to sleep peacefully and kept turning. Her coco colored skin looked somewhat pale and she was breathing hard. She suddenly shot up, sitting and clutching her head, trying to shake the images of the nightmare out of her head.

"Waaaaaah! Waaaaaah!" came the cry of an infant and the girl rushed out of bed and raced to the infant's room. The girl picked up the infant in her arms and cradled it gently. "Shhh" The girl whispered, "Está bien, Maria(It's ok, Maria)" she said.

The baby kept on weeping as the lights came on and a man threw the girl into a wall with the baby in her arms.

"¡Deje a Maria en paz, Amor è! (Leave Maria alone, Amorè!)" the man said in rage and ran to the girl, picked her up, took the baby out of her arms and threw the girl into the wall opposite the room and that seemed to knock her out.

"¡Ella es mi hermanita, padre! ¡Esto es mi deber de protegerla! (She is my baby sister, father! It is my duty to protect her!)" the girl named Amorè cried as she struggled to get up.

"¡No me preocupo si esto es su deber, usted abandonará a Maria ser! ¡No dejaré a monstruos como usted amenazar mi familia! (I do not care if it is your duty, you will leave Maria be! I will not let freaks like you threaten my family!)" The man scolded back, almost ready to slap the the girl but a woman jumped in front of the girl. "¿Qué hace usted a James? ¡El amor è no le hizo nada! (What are you doing James? Amorè did nothing to you!)"
