Summary: It's the year 204X and a new system has come out, making school a heck of a lot easier. Each person creates their own cyber identity and literally enters the school online. So pretty much, humans in the cyber world with their mind in their own created avatar. However, the system was released before fully tested. Now, everyone who enters the system retains their memories only of the time in the system and lose all memories of their identity outside of it! And not only does the system affect the humans who enter, but also affects the navis that enter with their humans!

Rules: Like the rest of the guild, literacy is a must. Also, try to interact and bring other new people into the story. That is the main reason many RPs fail. And like always, no flaming please.

A few questions... 1. Do we use our rp charries, as signed up for? 2. Do the charries get total amnesia? Or can we keep their names...or....>> can't wait to start!! mrgreen

I was thinking that yes, you do use the characters you signed up for. Yes, the characters get total amnesia and you can create a new name for their avatar name or use can use the same name as the avatar name. You should note though that if they keep their same name in the avatar, netterrorists could easily know who to pick off first XD

Netto sat at his desk typing at his computer. "Netto-kun? Are you registering like Mariko-sensei asked you to?" Rockman asked in surprise. Netto nodded.
"Hai...I am. It sounds pretty interesting, don't you think?" Rockman nodded his agreement.
"Yes, I does." Rockman peered at the forms. "What's your avatar name going to be, Netto-kun? You'd better think hard about it because you can't change it."
Netto looked down at the unfilled fields.

The avatar appearance field had several premade selections as well as some mix and match ways to create the avatar.

Netto paused for a moment.

Netto grinned at his idea. It was a fairly interesting name.

Netto mixed up the avatar so that he had wildly messy green hair as well as an outfit very similar to Tsukasa from .hack//sign.
"There..." Netto hit the submit button and sat back and relaxed.
"Now that you're done, it's time for you to get to sleep, Netto-kun...it's nearly 11 pm." Netto sighed and went to bed.

Um...I have a few question before I start. ^^;; Er, the characters do eventually come out of the system, right? And um...once they enter the system, do they immediately forget about their real-life? Or do they forget once they come out...?

Yes, the characters will eventually come out. After all, they're bound to get suspicious after a while. And I was thinking that once they enter the system they forget they even HAD a real life persona.

At around 11:30 in the evening, Laika found himself at a desk working on a report for the latest mission he had completed. His foot had long fallen asleep, but Laika had chosen to ignore it. His neck and hand were also becoming stiff.
"Beep beep beep!"
Laika jumped slightly and reached for his PET.
"Incoming email, Laika-san," said Searchman, "Shall I open it now?"
"Aa," Laika replied as a new window came up.
"To: Mr. Laika
From: Sharro Military Administration
Salutations. This email was sent to inform you of a new program being offered to soldiers of the military. We are now providing online schooling to ensure that Sharro's finest are not only physically but mentally prepared as well. Every soldier is required to take at least one year. Please select the following link which will redirect you to the online registration area."
Laika clicked on the link and that brought him to a blank form.

Laika blinked before letting out a small snort. Quickly, he chose one avatar with short dark blue hair (Like Hisagi Shuuhei from Bleach) and warm brown eyes. Satisfied with the application, he hit enter and stood up to stretch. A bit too quickly. He quickly sat back down again, feeling lightheaded. Sighing, he got picked up his pen again and bent over his work once more.

Enzan walked briskly to the limousine that would take him back to his large mansion home. Loosening his tie slightly as he entered the vehicle and opening up his laptop, he found a small icon blinking in the corner of the screen. An eyebrow tweaked slightly as Blues went to open up the new e-mail. Reading through the e-mail, he snorted slightly at the thought of going to school. He had barely set foot in a school, much less doing anything of the sort on the Net. Seeing as how the e-mail had directed him to participate in order to refreshen the education that he had learned from tutoring, and also for the sake of the company, he consented. Still somewhat reluctant, he scrolled down to fill out the form. Real Life Name: Ijuuin Enzan Avatar Name: He paused slightly, thinking. After a while, however, he entered "Yukio." Real Life Age: 17 Real Life Grade: 11 Appearance: With surprising quickness, he made it so that the avatar would have dark hair along with his piercing blue eyes as usual. As he glanced at the avatar, he could barely tell that it was him. That was good. Sending in the form, he rested his head back against the cushion of the seat, smirking. This ought to be interesting, he thought to himself as the limo pulled up to the mansion. ((Oh, and this is a picture of what I think the avatar's hair would look like: Click!))

The next morning, Netto's daily ritual came into effect once again. Sleep; get prodded by Rockman; ignore and sleep some more; Rockman gets more annoying; ignore and continue sleeping; Rockman sets off TNT from ACDC as loud as the computer will go; fall out of bed.
Though Rockman always found those last two steps the most humorous. So, current, Netto was laying on the floor, tangled up in his bed sheets, looking like someone poured ice water down his shirt.
"Come on, Netto-kun...today's the first day that you're supposed to use that new school system." Netto sighed, untangled himself from his sheets, walked over to his computer and sat in his chair and then put on the virtual reality helmets.
"Alright, alright...let's begin..."

"Ngghh...Nani, Searchman?" Laika groaned, waking to find himself with his head on his arm at his desk. The light was still on and the completed report was under him. Apparently he had been too exhausted the night before to even climb into bed. "Sir, you had better hurry! Your online school system starts today!" ((hey lookey, alliteration!)) "Oh.....WHAT??!? What time is it!?" "It's about to start!" Laika glanced around him, "Do I have time to hand in my report?" ""I doubt it," Searchman replied. Suddenly, Laika felt a headache coming on. Shutting his eyes and rubbing at his temples, he decided that he would get out of the system during lunch and hand it in then. With a sigh, he turned to his laptop. "Here goes..." Student: Katsu logging in...."
