Well I did make a topic about this in Radio Gaia thread a while back and I figured why not make a thread about it in the guild. This is a chance for you to post your fav songs and tell why they made a big impression on you in your life. In other words post the name/link of the song symbelises the way you feel sometimes and tell why.
Be sure to make your first post in here to be an intro in this thread, so that when you get the chance to find the songs that is in the soundtrack of your life you can comeback and edit your post. In other words your first post in here should be more like a music profile for this thread. 3nodding
If you dont make it in here in time to make a Profile with the others then just start your music profile and PM the link of the page its on to me and I will make a link to it right here in the first post. 3nodding
NOTE: Try to make your profile neat and sorted so that it doesnt get all mixed up and hard to read. Im not saying make yours the way I made mine but you can use mine as a rugh example. Just so that we all are on the same level here.
SIDE NOTE: Please give some detail in your profile. And when I said "symbelises the way you feel sometimes and tell why" I mean Tell why that song made an impact in your life and how.

Well being that Im the one that started this thread I should be the one to brake the ice and give you all an example of what Im talking about here. Kuroki's Music Profile arrow #1 Kuroki I will start with my fav song in the world. This song Symbelises the turning point in my life when I was young and not a soul really didnt understand me. I found myself asking over and over again why do I go on when Im not like everyone else. I then started to be like everyone so I could fit in but I was still not cutting it. Then I just started to shut everyone out and kept to myself, I wouldnt talk to anyone and I just thought that everyone didnt know what they wanted in life. So I became shalow to the world. Then one day I heard this song on TV called "Points Of Authority" I thought it had a very good beat to it so I looked up the name of the band and album and went to the store and bought it. I started to play this song over and over again untill I had it stuck in my head. But then I noticed something in the lyrics of the song, Linkin Park "You like to think your never wrong" "You want to act like your someone" "You want someone to hurt like you" "You want to share what you've been through" (YOU LIVE WHAT YOU LEARN) From that day on I knew that I was no longer going to waste my life worrying about what others thought of me and what I should do to fit in. All Im going to do is be me and stay me. I want to live what I learn and thats what I will do. Band: Linkin Park Song: Points Of Authority #2 Kuroki Well this song I have next really shows the goofy side of myself. first heard this song in my buddys car on the radio when he was telling me a really funny joke. Being that I was in a sad mood at the time he thought I could use a knee slaper. I kind of liten up and got into a funny mood. As the song was playing I thought it sounded pretty good so when we got to his house we got online and looked the band up. I thought it was kind of odd being that the band was Cartoon Characters with a punk rock style. But then I found that song on the media player and got a chance to hear the music with out my friend yaping in my ear. The song was called "19-2000 Soulchild Remix" and it made me laugh my a** off. The characters in this song gave out a good vibe and put me in a better mood. I heard these words in the song, Gorillaz "Its the Music that we choose" "Get the cool shoe shine" No matter how bad I feel I can always rely on that song to put me in a good mood. I should not keep my head down when their is so much more out their for me to go for. So Im going to keep on steping and get the cool shoe shine because its the music that I choose. xd Band: Gorillaz Song: 19-2000 Soulchild Remix arrow #3 Kuroki September 11th, we all know what happend on that day and we all know how it made us feel. I was in high school in 3rd or 4th class when I heard about it on the news. I didnt really think much about it untill I got home and watched it on the news. I seen people jumping out of buildings and people running for their lives down on the street. It was just madness. I didnt know what to feel about it. All I could think about was my family and my friends. I started to wonder why people would do such horrible things to one another just to prove a point. I went on with my normal life for the next 4 days, but I was driveing to school one day and I seen this Red Cross stand across the street from my school trying to raise money to help the wonded in NY. I stoped and donated $20.00 and I was given a USA pin for my shirt. I then started to think about all them people down their fighting the fires and clearing out the rubble to help others that are still traped in it. When I got back to my car I and turned on my CD player with my "Urban Hymns" Album in it, I found this song that made me feel something. Its a song by "The Verve" that had some lyrics that I could feel, The Verve "Im a lucky man" With Fire in my hand" I knew that I should be happy with what I have today and where Im at because their is so much out their that can take everything that love in a second. I am very happy for what I have and where Im at to this day and I will always do my part to help others that are in need of help. It really made me feel good that day I gave money to the Red Cross to help. Band: The Verve Song: Lucky Man

January 9, 2005 ~ Sunday
Soundtrack of my Life: Anything that is sad, or lyrics that reflects sadness and confusion because that is how I feel about life right now. After being betrayed and heartbroken, I don't know what I should do with my life anymore... especially since that person who did that to me isn't out of my life.
A few selections from certain soundtracks: (you can probably find some of these in my mini station) F.I.R. - The Fairyland in Reality 03. Lydia ~ The song is about how the girl should move on. Even tho the guy is gone, he could not take away her life from her. Life isn't just filled with sadness, it's more than that. One will feel sadness, but other good emotions as well. 05. wo men de ai (Our Love) ~ Life is a lot less colorful without the person she loves. Once their love is gone, it will never come back. However, she is still waiting for his return. Even though she knows that to him, their love is only a burden, but she can't let go of the love they shared. Melody - Sincerely 14. Once Again ~ A girl waiting for the guy she loves to return to her. She believes their love will live again and grow stronger each day. And she can't wait to share her life once again with him. No Doubt - The Singles 1992-2003 14. Ex-Girlfriend ~ "I kinda always knew I'd end up your ex-girlfriend." "I'm another ex-girlfriend on your list. But I should have thought of that before we kissed." That just kinda says it all.

hmm~~ this is an interesting thread! *thinks for a bit*
Jimi Hendrix: The Wind Cried Mary, Machine Gun, Are You Experienced? Jimi Hendrix is famous. Even if you don't know about his life or his music precisely, I'm sure you've heard him howl in the background of some movie or his riffs in a commercial... and in fact, Pepsi raped his childhood image in one of their commercials recently! xp But in my attempt to broaden my musical horizons, Jimi Hendrix was one of my first stops at discovering the history of the blues and rock music prior to the 1980s.
So my first attempt to discover his music was an mp3 with the title "The Wind Cries Mary." And it was such a contrast to what I'd pictured the man to be before. Here, with so much soul and love and vision in his voice, I became quite mesmerized at how such a famous guitarist could have such a soft and rich voice. As I slowly got around downloading as many Jimi Hendrix songs as I possibly could, I ran across "Machine Gun." The version I'm familiar with was at the Filmore East Live and while I may have been impressed with the guitar virtuoso beforehand, I was sold and scalped after hearing the solo of this song for peace.
Finally, to seal my love for 70s rock, I heard "Are You Experienced?" Released on the debut album of the Jimi Hendrix Experience, this track put together everything that I loved about Jimi into this very song: the psychedelic 60s feel, the soulful, languid vocals, the cultural importance, and just how that ******** guitar SINGS! It's not just about chords and scales and arps and technical glory, but giving the guitar a soul of its own and letting it embody itself through the player~ that's just one of the reasons why I love Jimi Hendrix so much. heart
..oh yeah, and regarding that Pepsi commercial, the song that they raped was "Purple Haze." It's a lot cooler when you actually hear Jimi SING. Don't let the commercialness of the commercial turn you off! It's a great song!
Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" or their cover of David Bowie's "Man Who Sold the World"
Olivia's "Colour of Your Spoon"
hmm~~ well worth thinking about! xd

Hard for me to say, since for a good portion of my life I didn't really pay attention to much music outside of Classical, (*still wonders why she likes that type*) due to the abudance of rap in the city and my family.
Anyways I have to say "Genesis of Next: Cyborg 009" and Dir en Grey: Cage" before I found the lyrics domokun Beethoven is always a favorite, and they had a song with his music on DDR called, "Beethoven Virus."
"Genesis of Next" has a good beat to me and I use it to write, even though it's mostly in Japanese ^ ^ I do understand MOST of the lyrics though. It reminds me of how the world is changing into more of machines and computers as well as the good times in life like nature.
Dir en Grey: cage has...strange lyrics, but reminds me of chaos and my past life that made me bitter to this day, as well as other personal issues. It actually helps me with my fanfic that I am working on.
Classical period makes me smile, since I want to play a musical instrument, but I took music in highschool, sung, and even showed us the keys to playing the piano, and I hated it xd So it always makes me laugh and in a good mood, since I feel like playing a viola, (which I might do,) or the piano.

ok, my songs. First off, I love almost everything by Ian Van Dahl. They have a song for almost anything I am feeling at any time. Seriously.
Second, I just started to like breaking the habit by Linkin Park, because well, I have a crapload of arguing at my house like all the time, mostly because of my sister (she dosen't know when to stop) but my mom can be pretty dumb too. When I argue w/ my dad, it almost immediatly ends because I always end up on top when arguing, mostly because I am not the one who starts it, and every time any of them do it's for a dumb reason. and my dad knows when he has lost, cant say that for my mom or sister though. My mom ends up resorting to mimicing me and repeating what I just said in a childish voice, or starts screaming curse words. My sister, when she has lost completely, she just repeats the last thing she said over and over, or tells me to shut up multiple times, or tries to tell on me for "being rude". and well, I got tired of all that crap that always happens, so from now on every time I even see my sister and can tell she's trying to start an arguement, I just say shut up, and w/ my mom, sense I cant do that, I just say be quiet and walk away. and well, yeah. So I broke the habit of arguing, because it is bs, and I know I am logicly smarter than anyone in my family, and arguing w/ them is a waste of my life, and it gets me angry.
And well, 3rd song, lets see, well, I dunno. I kinda like this one entire CD I mixed a while back, most of them are good. and well, that's all the songs I can think of for now.

felix45 oh...uh...yeah so, what is it? seriously Dude Im telling you its the Government!!!! They always hide the good stuff from us because they dont want us to have fun in life. I bet you dont even know about the car that runs on Water do ya? Its because if we all knew that their was a car that runs off of water then we all would just start drinking beer and the Government doesnt want us to drink the beer because they know it will make us happy.
