Faqs:
- Maurice, Maeter, and Linck's names come from the Belgian poet, playwright, and essayist Maurice Maeterlinck.
-Maurice, Maeter, and Linck are directly based on Katsu, Retsu, and Kikka from the original Mobile Suit Gundam, having nearly identical appearances and ages to all three of the Gundam characters. Their relationship with Eureka echoes how Gundam's Frau Bow cared for the three orphans herself, though otherwise Eureka and Frau are quite different.

I always suspected that those three kids where based on the three orphans from Gundam 0079, i have the manga. You see these three alot more in E7. Well the Gundam orphans, they only pop up now and again in in the manga.

I love Linck, he's adorable, in the episode where they first start their offence against Renton, it sounds like Lincks voice is being distorted, like... Well anyway he's great! I was pretty disturbed at the state they were found in after what Eureka had done...

thats sucks all the their parents were killed by Eureka, ending up as Eureka as they're mother

I think the kids are great. They really seem to get in the way sometimes, but they also helped to make Renton grow up. Without the kids, he would have only thought of Eureka as a girl and been acting like a boy. When he's interacting with MM&L he tries to be an adult and his image of Eureka is very differant also. He knows shes more mature than she looks. I think adding the kids to the show was a great idea.

I think Maeter, Linck, and Maurice were all great characters. They helped the many members of Gekkostate learn a little bit more, and grow up a little.

You know these kids are nothing but tools.
the writers use them to tug at our heart strings and there existance forces Renton to act like an older brother or even father figure when he's around them.
If it weren't for making Renton seem older I'd say they shouldn't exist.

The kids are....wiggy. O____o;;
I don't like Linck. He's so bratty and he never does anything.
Maeter....well, she's gonna be the next Anemone I think. Such a brat. >>
Maurice is annoying, but neat near the end though how he wants to protect his mom. And then in ep 50 you see him wearing the same kind of outfit as Renton.
It's cute how he thinks of Renton as his father at the end. biggrin
