I am about 80 times more efficient in a group or soloing. It pisses me off so much when mages go all out doing nothing but dueling. They're extremely cheap when they duel. When you duel a mage you have to try to be the first to polymorph, so that you can take the first shot. They then use Frost Nova and stick you in place then b***h slap you from afar.
Any other mages on here? What's your favourite spec? I like fire. I recently had to respec to Frost though, because my guild is starting molten core REALLY soon. I hate frost with a passion.

Yea, I hate mages pretty much as a warrior. The sheep thing I can deal with because you just have to get around the status quoe on how mages duel. Other than that theyre sort of like a rogue, theyre going to have the same tactic every time no matter the build except for ice mages which are a bit more of a pain

Is not that Simple... In duel, thanks for the awesome Life that mages have, the best choice is make more dmg more quiqly as possible, fire speq is great, but Arcane build is also great for pvp, As for Frost is the best for keepeing u alive (using ice block and ice barrier) and also u get a super useful Elemental with a ranged frost nova!
Here's what u think overall:
Fire - Soling > PvP > Instances
Arcane - PvP > Soling > Instances
Frost - Instances > Soling > PvP

lol, Ive seen a mage or two get beaten by a warrior, but that's a very unlikely cirumstance. Such as the mage being pretty much critless, and the warrior getting pretty damn lucky ^^
My mage isnt very high, but I personally think frost mages have the most control over crowds, and they should, but a fire mage can put on a pretty good beating in PvP
By the way, its often a good thing that you dont use polymorph, I cant tell you how many times Ive been attempted to be turned into a sheep after Im already a moonkin ><

Yes, mages have many tactics, but sadly, their health is like 1/4 of their mana! D:
Unluss you equiped a lot of good armor with stamina bonus....
Frost Nova makes me mad if it's ued against me!
I do have to use Poly morph though for those "High Level" people.

I have a mage but i'm not soooo good with it.
My limit is 2 monsters/people at a time.
I usually sheep one and the take care of the other.
But when i'm attacked by more than 2 monsters/people, i frost nova then i blink away.
P.S. I'm more of a frost mage. mrgreen

Geez, my friend Timmy went from like 45 to 53 in two days simply because he can grind like 15 guys at a time

I don't duel much, seeing as it's a waste of time, but yesterday, my 66 frost mage pwned a 70 tauren warrior in a duel. It was fantastic.

I've played my buds mage once and funny part was i killed a few people without really trying. rofl Since well I never used a mage on wow before I didn't know much on what i was doing and guessed. (his mage was so powerful..he had to change to instance specs time to time so yea)
