Well, this isn't Itachi related, so I'm moving this the the General Naruto Discussion.
And I beleive the puppet is Karasu? Something like that.

And I beleive the puppet is Karasu? Something like that. I think is Karasu. But I also recall it was adresses as The Crow ._.

Hmm. If puppet masters can controll puppets, why don't they just use their chakera(sp) strings (or whatever they are) to hold their opponent in place, then just walk up to them and stab them to death with a kunai or something? Rather than going through all the trouble of fighting.

Kankuro has 2 puppets, one for attack and one for defense.
While I don't know the defense puppet's name, the attack puppet is called Karasu.

yea he does have 2 puppets. he has the crow and the black ant. the crow is the attack puppet and the black ant is used to capture the opponent and kill it

He had two in the first Naruto arc, the 'attacking' one is Karasu(crow) while the 'defending' one is Kuroari(black ant)
Spoiler: In the timeskip he has another one called Sanshouou(Salamander) And when all three of them were destroyed by Sasori-danna, he had a fourth one that he has yet to reveal...

Kankuros name translates into 'crow', I didn't think his puppets name did though. Probably wrong sweatdrop

Fallen black roses Kankuros name translates into 'crow', I didn't think his puppets name did though. Probably wrong sweatdrop No D: 'Karasu' is the Japanese word for crow, Kankurou was supposedly named after some famous ninja who was also a puppeteer...
