Cinaed gave a small snort as he nestled among the fragrant grasses; his chosen and the young one had left to find food for the night. Content with life, he rolled over and was about to fall asleep when.....
DADDY!
Cinaed gave a loud grunt when seventy pounds of baby wyrm slammed on to his chest. Glancing up, he simply stared into the sparkling eyes of his "son".
Muir.....I told you not to do that when i'm laying down!
The baby water wyrm, Muir, gave a small pout and slithered off of the older dragons' chest.

Nightfall usually sent most off to sleep, though not her. The water wyrm had been unhappy for some time, ever since the usettling incident involving her bonded's brother. Since then, Atalanta had yet to let Amai fall from her sight. The long female glanced up at said girl, aware that Amai's eyes were closing as if to sleep. The water wyrm shook her head as she felt the other half of their partnership slip off, blocking her mind from the dreams or nightmares that whirled inside her mind. She glanced up as something else came into her eyesight. Other wyrms.

Cinaed perked up when the wind blew in their direction; as he sniffed the air, the scent of other wyrms invaded his senses. He instantly sat up and glanced at the darkened woods, on high alert and ready to fight if it attacked.
There is something out there.....I can smell it......
'Cinaed....It's most likely another wyrm. Settle down and get some rest, you need your strength."
His chosen watched as she put Muir to sleep, draping the little creature in a water-soaked cloth.

Spoken words drifted from the mouth of others. Amai, wake up. There's someone here. The girl opened her eyes, looking forward as the adult wyrm came to see others here.
Amai glanced about, spotting two wyrms and another. She waved, putting on a friendly smile though she wasn't happy about being woken up. "Hi!"

Archernar stepped quietly and gingerly into the dark woods. His choosen followed, holding on to his neck tightly.
"Shizzy, that sort of hurts you know."
Shizzy, his choosen, snorted.
"This place creeps me out..."

Mithrana walked beside her mate eyeing Archernar's chosen. She was expecting to clutch soon. Making her even more moody, ill tempered and dangerous. Mithrana had been growling all the way there and into the dark woods they went. "If it hurts done let her hold onto your neck" She snapped still on edge. Mithrana whiped her tail back and forth careful not it hit Arch with it accidentally.

Shizzy stuck her tongue out at Mithrana, then quickly jumped away in case the ill-tempered female snapped at her.
Arch shrugged.
"As long as she doesn't choke me, I won't mind much."
Shizzy let out a small sigh and let go of the dragon's neck.
"Where are we going anyways?"

Mithrana just growled at Shiz knowing how much Arch cared for the human. "Fine" she growled If she had were way that human would not be there. "That way" she pointed with her nose as the obvious answer showing her displeasure to the human being there.

Shizzy glared at Mithrana. Shizzy knew that she was being a nucisense (sp?), but she didn't really care.
This forest was as scary as hell.
Arch sighed a impatient sigh. He didn't want to deal with Mithrana's and Shizzy's temper.
Arch followed Mithrana, asking "Where are we going anyways?"

'I really don't know, thought you knew" she admitted then thought. "We are going for a good scare" she grinned fiercely and continued into the forest. It wasn't that scary not to her at least. Mithrana growled back at Shiz then glared. Mithrana's flames kept light in the dark forest. Arch though she guessed had no trouble at all seeing.

Arch acutally had some trouble seeing.
It's way too dark...
Shizzy groaned softly and groped for Arch's neck, but ended up grabbing Mithrara's.

Mithrana made her fire burn brighter and lilluminated the forest ever still, a small groan emmited from the human Mithrana knew she was not far. She stopped suddenly when Shiz clung to her neck. Mithrana's emerald green eyes looked down to the small human holding onto her neck "Get off" she hissed angrily glaring at the human. The only reason that Mithrana hadn't killed the human was because Arch cared for her so much.

Shizzy squealed. "Eeeee!"
She quickly let go of Mithrana's neck and jumped away onto Arch's neck.
Scary as hell...
Shizzy sighed. She never did understand why Arch liked her. Arch snorted, knowing what the sigh meant.
"Mith may be ill-tempered, but......eh...I don't know what else to say."
Arch hid behind a tree.

"Better." she nodded approvingly to the human as she was clinging to her bonded Archernar. Mithrana still didn't like the human but to harm her would hurt Archernar as well. She didn't want her mate harmed. Although she did show more authourity over him she never really did hurt him. Mithrana turned her long snake-like neck around "Is that all you can think of?" she questioned him a hint of anger in her voice. Mithrana noticed he was hiding behind a tree. She enjoyed this little game of power she played with him, the game amused her.

Shizzy rolled her eyes. Dragons.
Arch nudged her in the ribs. "Watch it. Mith will come after youuuuu."
He sighed, knowing that Mithrana was enjoying this. He stuck his head out from behind the tree.
Shizzy huffed and walked off. She walked past Mithrana and then...screamed like the little girl she was.
