This is a continuing problem I see
Because recent Gundam episodes are subbed (SEED, SEED Destiny), so I have to stick with it.
In a way, I am glad I can understand Japanese, b/c the subbers do a horrible job in translating.
Case 1:
Subbers have kept on using "Cagalli" as her name. They also fail to see, in Gundam SEED (the episode where they use ORBs massdriver to go into space), that Asuha gives Kagari a picture, and in the back it says KIRA AND KAGARI, no Cagalli (wait, was it Kagari, or Kagalli... Damn it I lost that episode... Someone confirm it please?)
Case 2:
It's Asuran, not Athran
Case 3:
They made Asuran's new MS be called "Savior", while in Japanese, it is clearly stated as "Saber"... GG

The worst one:
I remember one sub said there are four MS, when the actual anime said there were three... God damn it...
In conclusion, I hate subbers...
I wish I can sub for people b/c I can do a far better job..
but I just don't have the resources to do it...
Cagalli is the name adopted by Bandai in the official release of Gundam Seed in the US.
Even if the direct name is KAGARI, Because it is being translated into English, they use the English name, Cagalli. It is therefore correct. So Shut the ******** up there.
Once again, you complain about the name. The name is Athrun in the English translation, that is what they use. Once again, shut the ******** up.
It's a question of translation. The pronounciation of Saviour is more "Sei-Bee-Yah" in the Japanese version. We already know that Beam Sabre is "Beamu Sei-Bah" in pronounciation. They are pronounced differenty, it is NOT saber. That is a newbie mistake that 99% of GOOD Gundam forums have squelched. Case 3, shut the ******** up 3.
