So. I've been a bit... absent... from the guild for a while. I say absent, because this time I wasn't even lurking.
LE SHOCK! Xani? Not lurking? Has he been feeling well?!? eek
Well, uh, no. Not really. sweatdrop
See, when humans meet, it is often a joyous time. Hey, how's it going, nice to meet you, and all that junk.
When cars, on the other hand, decide to meet, it's a little different. Hi, nice to mee-CRASH, BANG, ******** the hell some jackass could pull out in front of a BIG YELLOW VEHICLE that's bearing down on him I will never know. All I know is that when riding in the passenger seat of said BIG YELLOW VEHICLE, shouting "Horn! HORN!" does very little to move said jackass from the obstructed destination route.
Needless to say: (but I will anyway) Wham, bam, no thanks ma'am. We hit the jackass, airbags KERSPLODE in my face, I lose vision for a while, we come to a stop on the opposite side of the road up on the curb next to a lamp post... there's glass all over me, the horn won't shut up, my ears are ringing, my neck hurts, my knuckles feel numb, and for the love of GOD why the hell does my elbow hurt?!? And my friend? The one that was driving? Yeah, he's out of the car screaming at the jackass... who by the way had a few minor cuts on his forehead and a front tire doing a perfect 45 degree angle into his engine.
All in all... it was rather boring. Oh. Aside from the 3-5 seconds of actual impact, that is. That was heartpounding.

I got hit in the head by a thrown rock on accident before... Had to get staples in my head but I didn't faint or anything.

*superdooper huggleness* heart heart Just relieved that your alright. If something is out to get you, their a** is mine! ^^
And accidents totally suck, the last one I was in I cracked the winshield with the side of my head...thats wasn't too fun...I'm just glad it wasn't the other way around ^^ sepecially since I would have missed the concert I went to right afterwards hehe
Guess I really am hard headed...who knew xp whee

Danke, Ayuta... and oi, that sucks. The only time I've ever had to get stitches was an accident where I slit open my right knee just above the cap. Pretty deep. Who knew there was that much tissue? whee But that aside, I don't think I'd ever want to have to have stitches again. sweatdrop

Glad you're not dead, Xani. Looks like you had quite a fun time of all that, all things considered, but only went through the first and last three pictures. Your friend has a nice car, by the way :] Well, did, at any rate.

Damn Xani, at least you made it out okay.
I've been in a few, but most of mine were on the outside of the car. (I.E. *walk walk walk* "Hmm, whats what sound?" -WHUD!-)
Luckily I've been able to walk (or limp) away from all of my accidents, so I don't feel too bad off. They do suck quite a bit, but as long as you don't take too much damage they're okay. I can't stretch quite like I used to though, wrecked my hip and knees.

Yes, well, the car actually was a piece of crap. Nice maybe in some life, but not as long as I knew it. Or my friend. But yeah, it's gone on to a higher plane now. You should at least look at number 9, though. That's my favorite. 10 is good, too.
That's crazy, Wolfy... not saying you are, but to have been in an accident like that... and you say multiple times? Either you have to stop walking in the street or people near you have to stop driving on the sidewalk. xd

Craaazy. Car accidents give me the willies. D: Glad youre okay.
Ive only been in one real accident, a few years back. My Mom, My Cousin, A Friend, and Myself were riding in our jeep. My Sister and another Cousin were riding on a three wheeler behind us. We got to a bumpy part of the trail and my Mom lost control. She hit a tree and I slipped out the back. I had to hang onto the tailgait of the jeep to keep from falling off, and then we flipped into about 8 feet of this nasty swampy water.
I came out fine, so did everyone else really. Except my Mom. She had a gaping hole in her knee. D; We had to walk all the way back and every step she took blood kept gushing out. Funny thing is, when it healed it left a great scar. If you look at it the right way it says 'F U'. xD

eek That's a nasty wreck. Glad you're fine.
And yeah, I was in one a few weeks ago because my father drives like a maniac. He was making a left turn at a little intersection and wasn't paying attention.. so he didn't see that a car wasn't slowing down in the opposite lane, so it slammed into my side of the car. xp

Accidents=pain-in-the-a** but 'tis good you're safe-n-sound.
I hadn't been in any major accidents until January of this year. I was heading back to college with my boyfriend from his house in VA. An hour from getting to our destination, I got into an accident. Scariest thing I've ever been in. I went to merge left...'cuz I didn't like the slow people infront of me...but missed seeing the giant green vehicle-thing until I jerked back...thus causing me to spin several times and smack my side into the concrete wall...the wall of an overhang/bridge-thing. No one was hurt...and it was amazing that no one else got hit dispite the hoards of traffic (we were on I95, if that makes a difference). My car was banged up, I was upset, life really sucked that day.
Though my car was totaled beyond repair-worth (*pout*) my boyfriend and I were really lucky that nothing worse happened. We could has flipped or hit others or even fallen off the bridge into on-coming traffic. I can easily point out right where the accident happened as well. Only thing that still makes me wonder is why my airbags didn't go off...even though I was ok without them. o-o;

Either you have to stop walking in the street or people near you have to stop driving on the sidewalk. xd It's a little bit of both, there were a few times when people drove up onto the sidewalk and hit me. For some reason, whenever I get hit I get hit in the dumbest situations. I had a woman once (At a red light, mind you) suddenly start stepping on the gas as I was in front of her car and nearly broke my leg because it pinned me against the car in an awkward position where I couldn't get away. Other than that one time I've usually made it out without a scratch though. But knowing people like that are driving around, since I've seen that more than once, I think I'll stick to walking.

I nearly got hit by a cop once while crossing the street. The light said 'walk', there were no sirens, I had right-of-way and was comfortably ambling across an intersection I'd crossed dozens of times before... Then, no siren, no lights flashing, no warning whatsoever in a rather blind zone, cop comes barreling through about a foot away from me. eek And he gave me a dirty look for crossing at a designated crosswalk with the light. WTF?
I think that incident might be one of the things that's contributed to my rebellious streak.
Anyway, I don't actually drive, so the closest I've been to being in a car accident was hearing stories of the one my dad got in when I was little. xp

Uh... when did this happen? *hadn't heard anything about this, but had been wondering why Xani wasn't posting much lately...*
Most I've been in, accident wise, was when my mom was trying to get out of a parking lot, and pulled out too far into incoming traffic, so she went into reverse. And the person behind us wasn't paying attention and was coming forward.
Small dent in the bumper, paint scrape. Nothing big. I've been driving um... almost three years now. A couple of near-misses, but aside from some paint scrapes and nearly running over a gas pump, I've managed to avoid injuring myself, my car, or other people. whew.
*is a very paranoid driver, and doesn't drive if she doesn't have to.*
