Yes, marching band started today. It's been so long since we've done any of this stuff. I forgot how much fun it is ^^ And it's weird, because this year I'm not new to it and there are other people who are. I feel really cool since I know more about it than them.
This one new girl in my section was kinda following me around... I shared my stand with her, and she walked with me to get inside/outside. It was kind of awkward, since I'm bad with people I don't know. And she seemed really shy. When she talked to me her voice was really quiet... and when I tried saying something to her, she didn't seem to like it very much =p But maybe that was just me. Anyway, I'd love to get to know her better, but I'm afraid she might think I don't want to. Or not care. Or get to know this one guy who is... amazingly stupid. Haha. I'd like to save her from such a fate. Anyway, she did eventually not follow me or anything and it was sad. But oh well. Just something on my mind.
School starts in three weeks, and frankly, I can't wait. Is that odd? I actually like school. It gives me something to do, and makes me feel like I have a purpose. Plus, I'm taking lots of classes this year, and... I want to secure my place in the top 25. Cuz I think I'm about to be bumped off that list >_< So... I have to work this year. And now. I still have a lot of summer work to do...

It was quite complicated...but somehow...I understood it. *laughs* I like school sometimes. Mostly cause I love my friends to death. I'm not sure how I'm going to like college though.

Hitori Oni I'd like school...if we actaully used some of the stuff the teach us in math xp Well... there are certain careers you can go into that DO use some of those things. It just depends on what you want to do.

I don't like English or history quite so much. Science is okay... depending on what type it is. My favorite subject of all though is Computer Science ^^

I'm just worried that none of my really good friends will be going there O.O

Yeah, people kinda scatter. Though one of my close friends is going to the same college. ew have math together, which is good because she actually understands it. *is an english major*

Haha, ohhh English =p I think one of my brother's friends is majoring in that... I used to want to, but now I've realized that English isn't exactly my thing. Yeah, I'm more of a math person... which is fine by me. I dunno, it's just so much more... concrete. Logical. Or something.
