:: Dohntay stepped into The Demon Bar, and chuckled lightly. His eyes scanning the room. :: I can't see why they outlawed these places back home. :: He streaches lightly and walks up to the smooth black bar, generally ignoring the woman standing behind it in the corner. He picks a stool near the end and plops himself into it. He slides an ash tray in front of him, as he continues to smoke, although never ashing, and never seeming to need too. :: What does one have to do to get a drink in this place?

Usukie blinks at the indignat way he has just spoken to her. She kicks at the wall she was just leaning on and walks gingerly up to him. Placing her arm on the counter she asks "All you have to do is ask sir." She pauses for just a moment, "What's your poison?"
"No courtousy at all. My type of coustomer, " she thinks to herself and smiles at the thought.

She nods and halfway turns before remembering something. They just got a shipment of blood in an had all differnt types of it. The human blood in particular. She turns back to him and asks, "What type of human blood?"
As she asks this question she bends down and has her wings to his face. She was grabbing a glass for the drink.

"Right. No problem then." Usu stands up and turns around with the glass in her hand. She walks over to the little fridge and reaches in the back of it. she rips it open and pours it away. Afterwards she fills it the rest of the way with water and goes back to the smooth surface of the counter, slidding it on over to the man. Her tail comes up and wraps around the empty bag in her hand, then whips behind her as straight as an arrow to where the trash can is and drops the bag. "So, What brings you here?"

:: Dohntay catches the glass in his hand without spilling a drop. He brings it to his lips and takes a quick sip. Then almost coughs making a face like he had just drank strong wiskey. But, he almost instantly appears to have gained more life in his skin. He sets the glass down. :: What brings me here? I'm not really sure, I got tired and moved on. It's one of those things that happens when your as old as I am, I guess.

She laughs a little at that last comment. Old, there was no such thing. She knew of someone older then god, at least she thought. He is twenty five thousand years old, and looks it too. This man didn't look a day over 20. But she could be wrong. She herself only looked to be about 18, but she couldn't remember being that age. Finally after long thought she said, " You don't look that old. But if you have no where to go, human, you can stay in one of the rooms upstairs."
This was probally a mistake to say.

I havn't been human since they first existed. :: He whipes his eyes lightly, flinging a few small blood tears from his cheeks. :: Ohh Eve, I'm glad I came in here, I havn't had a laugh like that in years. :: He chuckles some before putting his ciggertte into the pocket of his coat still lit, and the ash tray in front of him had no ash in it. :: Ohh.. that was funny. I do not have a place to stay, but I don't stay anywhere for free. I'm also possitive I don't have enough money to pay you for your rooms.

It wasn't a mistake at all. "I think I got on his good side" she thinks to herself. "Let's just say from the small conversation I've had from you I'm rather interested in getting to know you. You can stay for that..and maybe some shiny objects." At that word her eyes grew a semi grey from the blue they had once been. She smirks "shiny..." Then just as sudden as the fog had come on she shook her head and was back to normal. "If I may ask, how old are you and what are you?"

:: Dohntay took another sip from his glass. :: I am very, very old. That is the best answer I can give to that question, I am also one of the first of my kind. I honestly can not remember most of anything that long ago other than that. I often doubt the truth of those statements. I take the word of a much higher authority that such statements are true. I am a vampire, the first in a long line of many. :: He gives a big smile to show his fangs. :: Honestly the myths and legends say I'm related to bats, but thats simply not true. Also i didn't make a pact with the Devil to exist, although I do know her. :: he shakes his head. :: i made my bed with her husband.

She listens intently as he speaks once he's done the first thought out of her pretty little pigtailed head was, "Well if you were related to bats that would be interesting. Seeing as how I am related to them."
She spread her wings out wide and smiled. "I've never seen a vampire like you. most of them look..I don't know, healthier."
To that she jumped up on the countertop and sat down one leg over the other. and leaned toward him slightly, this was just so she could listen and be comfortable at the same time.

Thats why I had to have you water my drink down. If you would have seen me before I had restarted myself on a blood diet I would have been blue. :: Dohntay cracks his neck lightly her pose on the counter interesting him. He made the neck crack motion mainly as a distraction to look at her legs. :: I can turn into a bat, but no I'm not related to bats. No vampires are, most of them are just too stupid to know any better.

She gives him an odd look while he cracks his neck. It goes unnoticed. "Maybe because they think just because they drink blood like one type of bat does. But this is only stipulation."

I think the word you were looking for is assumption. But, yes that is the general idea people are not that smart, vampires are no exception. To the best of my knowledge we are born of evil, it had nothing to do with bats.
